"Mmm?" Ethan blinked and rubbed his eyes several times since he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Oh, man… I played that game so much last night that I am having a dream about it at school."

Aside from the brick walls and the weird glowing circle that had some questionable drawings in it. Ethan saw some weird hooded figures in front of him. As soon as the circle stopped glowing, the hooded figures fell on the floor unconscious. Only one of them managed to sit down and talk with Ethan.

"Hello, young hero," The hooded figure said. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Err…. Hello?" Ethan hesitated a little bit. "How can I help you, mister? Are you feeling sick or dizzy?"

"I am fine, just a bit tired, don't mind me," The hooded man said. "Still, you can help me by saving this world."

"Really?" Ethan scratched the back of his head. "How can I say this… maybe you should look for someone else. You couldn't find a worse person to save 'this world.' Unless your world can be saved by the power of a lazy gamer like me, I would advise you to print some ads around the town to find a suitable candidate for this job."

Ethan had no idea what he was saying, but he felt compelled not to blatantly say no to the weird figure in front of him. That guy had a weird staff on his hand, and it looked made of some metal… Ethan didn't want to get hit by that.

"You must be confused due to the nature of this situation," The hooded man said. "However, you need to know that I didn't choose you. No one chose you; you are just the right person for this task. You have all the qualities that this world needs."

Ethan wondered if being lazy was a good trait. In any case, he decided to stop saying weird things and just go with the flow. Perhaps something good would come out of that lucid dream.

"Please, open that door and take the stairs," The hooded man said. "All of your answers will be answered soon, and you will find the person who decided to summon you in this time of crisis."

"All right… are you and your friends going to stay here?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, our job is over," The hooded man replied.

At that time, Ethan didn't realize what the man said by that… Still, in the end, he just shrugged at the weird events of that dream. The door had an old design, and even the doorknob was weird… to think that all those games would make Ethan fantasize about that kind of event so much… for the first time in his short life, Ethan began to think that it was time to stop playing so many RPGs. Maybe he should get into some race games… it would be a lot less weird if he dreams of becoming an F1 pilot.

The stairs made Ethan go up in a spiral course for quite a while. As expected, the walls were too weird. He didn't even find a single window even though he climbed the stairs for like five minutes. When his legs were about to give up, he finally found the door that would lead to the next room.

ραпdα nᴏνa| сom When Ethan opened the door, he couldn't help but frown at the level of luxury of that place. Everything was shining or at least was made of some kind of expensive material that could let Ethan see his reflection in it.

As if that wasn't shocking enough, he saw some suspicious-looking individuals wearing full sets of armor and weapons that were even bigger than then. Without knowing what to do, Ethan took a step back and then closed the door before he could pinch his cheeks.

"Ouch… I'm so delusional that I am even making myself imagine the pain?" Ethan frowned.

Ethan opened it again, and he confirmed that everything was in the same place. Still, before he could repeat the same thing, he heard a powerful but gentle voice coming from somewhere in that room.

"Young hero?" A man asked. "Is there something wrong?"

Again, with the young hero… this time Ethan made sure to leave the stairs behind, and then he looked in all directions to confirm if there was someone who looked like a hero behind him. Of course, there wasn't. Still, his weird actions at least gave him a chance to see everything properly. He had just appeared in the back of what seemed to be a throne room. On his left side and at the center of the room, he found some thrones and some people sitting in them. A semi-gray-haired middle-aged man wearing a crown and some fancy clothes, one hell of a stunning redhead that had the largest boobs Ethan had ever seen, and three young ladies on the right side of the redhead. Everyone was wearing fancy clothes, aside from the armed dudes… at that point in time, Ethan stopped his denial. He had been summoned to another world… still, he didn't change his mind that he was the last person who deserved to be called a hero.

"Sorry… Your Excellency! I mean… Your Highness!" Ethan said after he was trying to control his mixed feelings. "I am just a bit confused."

"Understandable," The middle-aged man said. "But fear not! You will understand everything in its due time, but before anything, let's not skip the introductions. My name is Alexander, king of Hedo, the last bastion of this world. This is my wife, Lucia, and these are our daughters: Alma, Catherine, and Victoria."

As expected of princesses, they were gorgeous, but instead of thinking that, Ethan wondered why one of them had black hair. The other two were blond and a redhead. It made sense since the king had some yellow hair here and there, and the queen was a redhead. Perhaps their grandparents had black hair… hopefully. In any case, Ethan decided to keep quiet about it.

"My name is Ethan, Your Majesty," Ethan said nervously while looking around and forcing a smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

It wasn't a pleasure since Ethan had been kidnapped. Still, he couldn't just say that, right? He had to follow the flow of the things, even though they were too weird. In that kind of situation, many nobles were supposed to be around. Still, aside from the royal family, the royal guards, and five court magicians, no one knew about Ethan's summoning. He felt thankful for that because he acted like a fool more than a few times that day.
