Chapter 127 32: Demon [Finale]

The battle was drawing to a close; both people knew that she couldn't fight for much longer; he wanted to end the conflict by showing her respect and wishing for her to take this outcome and fight harder, train harder and fight him once again.

'Let's go; she doesn't have the strength to fight anymore!'

However, her eyes remained focused, observing him as he moved back and forth, avoiding her attacks without breaking a sweat, knowing exactly where to dodge and counterattack whenever possible, allowing her to see some openings in his defence.

'Yet why do I feel no pain, no fear, only joy and delight!?'

"Gahh! You bastard!" She growled, panting heavily under the hot sun.

'This girl is so amusing! She's like me, learning from each strike, trying to analyse my pattern while adjusting and improving herself at the cost of her body! Ah~ this girl might surpass even Tessa in sheer desire of a warrior!'

His muscles seemed to swell up and harden as he went through the motions of a routine designed to wear out his opponents and keep him sharp; this was the best form of training for him.

'Despite her tired body, she continues to fight me through sheer willpower! Ah, woman, you are so close to being pushed down and violated on the spot! You are stepping into the dragon's maw yourself! Are you a genius or insane!?'

It allowed him to focus on both his physical abilities and mental fortitude at the same time as well as letting him train his reflexes, balance, coordination, stamina and agility.

'I need you in my life! Zell Delacroix, be it an ally! Enemy or even a lover! You are never going to be rid of me!'

Alice grew weaker and slower, unable to land another hit against him, her stamina running dry as he evaded her blows, leaving her exhausted, breathless, bruised, battered, bleeding, and tired beyond belief, but she couldn't stop fighting!

'I have needed someone like you in my life for so long! Alice Vermont! You can never escape this dragon's lust! I will have you, whether my rival, lover or enemy! There will be no peace for you!'

Not because she wanted revenge or to win but to test her limits, discover her boundaries and find out how far she could push her body.

'Ah, goddess... Thank you for allowing me to be your champion and fighting such wonderful enemies! I will uphold your tenet and never cease! This man has become my target; allow me to use your power with one final strike! Let me show him my resolve and desires!'

That drove her forward, giving her the strength to endure this long fight and, most of all, another reason.

She loved fighting against this demonic dragon, man! Her soul burned with passion for this creature, which she desired more than any human male; this "monster" made her blood pump, and the desire and inspiration flowed in her body as the silver light grew stronger, showing her goddess agreed as they both became more synchronised.

She felt a last burst of stamina, power and speed.

'Thank you, Artemia! Let's do this together; you also enjoy this mans fighting spirit, right?'

And as she pressed on, growing angrier and angrier with every passing second, she found new ways to evade his blows, finding small openings between his defences and striking home with her attacks. He didn't seem able to react correctly either; she sensed weakness in his guard and struck first!

It worked, opening a hole in his guard and a chance to finish him with a final blow!

With a scream, she charged forwards with a mighty leap, raising her spear above her head as she brought it crashing down on him, aiming for his throat and crushing his windpipe in one fell swoop, sending him flying back with his steps stumbling, his helmet cracking open, revealing part of his face!

"Good girl," a gentle whisper sounded beside her ear as she was spent, empty of all power, before his left hand smashed into her stomach, causing her to vomit blood and saliva from the sheer force shaking her organs.

Alice looked upwards with shaking weak eyes and saw perfection; half his faceguard destroyed, half gruesome armour and half world-stopping beauty; her eyes widened before he slammed down with a headbutt that knocked her unconscious.

"thank you for the great fight, beautiful lady Alice; let us fight once more when you improve; please, Artemia send her out of the game; I do not wish for her to see the carnage and scene's that will follow. They will stain our wonderful duel; you, too, should prepare as I will one day beat you the same way!"

Inside a divine realm, a woman with an athletic body lazily lay on a chair, the room filled with various weapons and training equipment. As her face was vague and blurred before listening to this boy's words, her supposed "enemy" made her giggle before licking her glossy lips with a long pink tongue.

'Cheeky little boy!' Artemia thought before looking at herself in the mirror, a huge smile filling her face as she shook her head, allowing Alice to leave the game, leaning back in her white chair before cursing those damn twins.

"He was such a damn heartthrob, and his personality suited me so well... No wonder they hid him and only told me about him when it got this far... Crafty, cute little fluffy lynx! Your man has another admirer now... Fufu~ can you both defeat this goddess of passion and bravery?"

Alice began to fade, her body twitching and grasping his arm like she didn't want to go... her tired fingers traced a number on his arm with the following text.

Thanks to his enhanced senses, he added the number to his phonebook and the following to his email list and messaging service.

Standing in the centre of a large circle, hopelessly outnumbered and a little tired...

Zell stretched out his arms, the flames switching back to a flickering black blaze with a scarlet core as he pulled the Zwéihander from the soil and pointed it towards a man in the distance, tall and stout with long blonde hair and blue eyes.

Samson, one of the most influential champions from his time, was also the man who chose to abandon Tessa, despite knowing her suffering and pain; thus, to him, he was just as guilty as Lyle, the one who performed the acts.

"Are you not going to fight me?"

-The goddess Zenovia of Deprayivty and Lust blesses you with a comforting rest!

Suddenly a black light fell from the sky, covering his body...

'If they want to brand me a demon, make me their enemy so be it. I will become that monster that forces them to tremble in fear, and spurs them to fight on! If it gives humanity hope, then I will crush all that stand here!'

Slowly, his wounds and weariness began to heal, and his mental fatigue was restored like he slept over 24 hours before looking even more demonic, enshrouded by black flames, bathed in dark light.

The humans and NPCs of the light side saw this man no longer as another player or fellow human.

He was a DEMON!
