Two figures shot towards the floating pyramid but they were blocked by a rising geyser of sand!

“Don’t fuck with me!” Alex snorted disdainfully as he threw a palm forward and a powerful repulsive force exploded from his palms, shattering the wall as he and Danny skidded past it!

Swoosh!

The duo danced around skillfully as they raced toward the sand stairs.

“If only our spatial magic wasn’t blocked as well, this wouldn’t be a problem,” Danny said with a frown.

“It seemed this place was built specifically to stop people like us! Something wants on down to earth” Alex said with a frown as he stomped his foot on the ground alongside Danny and the two shot into the air, just at that moment a centipede smashed into their location, sending shockwaves that pushed the two even further towards the stairs!

Danny and Alex frowned as they tried to use their territory power but it wasn’t working!

Three Centipedes raced towards them with their massive skulls ramming towards the duo!

“We have no choice but to stick to this,” Alex said as his eyes turned black and he released another powerful shockwave of repulsive force, clashing with the Centipedes.

“Hold then for a moment,” Danny said as his body drifted backward and as fierce wind surged him while he climbed higher into the sky.

Roar!

From a small wind to a fierce storm as clouds began gathering in the desert!

“We are the twin demons lords, sins of gluttony! We cannot be defeated by mere minions!” Danny’s eyes shone bright with immense light as a bright white thunder descended from the heavens, creating a powerful shockwave!

Boom!

From the chaos, Danny and Alex appeared with their hands shoved deep into their pockets while they began climbing the stairs leading toward the peak of the pyramid.

“Can you feel it?” Danny said with a frown.

“Whatever is up there is strong…. Very strong!” Alex said with a frown as they looked up and saw a lone figure standing at the peak.

The sun stood gallantly behind him like his shield and armor.

[Sun God; Aten spotted]

The territory guardian was an actual deity?

Egyptian?

Alex frowned as it finally made sense to him. Why different religions exist and how it is in this world. If the Egyptian gods rule this region. What gods rule the region they just emerged from?

His eyes were focused on the deity above and he frowned.

An immense hit wave spread forward surging down the sand stairs from the deity above.

Danny and Alex stomped their feet together as chilling energy surged out of their body racing upstairs.

The duo shivered and took a step back while the figure above remained unmoved. The bright light shining from behind made it impossible for them to see the face of the man above.

“This piece of shit is looking down on us!” Alex hissed and Danny remained silent but his frown depended.

“Demons… I should have known… only demon Lords will dare come here and try to steal my territory. If Anubis thinks he can win this war with the aid of outside help then he must be delusional!” Aten sneered leaving Alex and Danny confused.

Was there a war going on already in the heavens?

Was there a reason there are Gods and demons?

Alex and Danny had the same thought but they weren’t given the chance to ponder on it as the sun god made a move before they could even act!

Sun Deity core; Rolling sun!

Alex frowned as he watched a rolling sun that covered the entire staircase while increasing in size while it rolled down.

“Alex…” Danny cried out but Alex was already charging forward.

He refused to believe he needed to run from this one man just two levels ahead of them.

“When I was mortal I fought gods! Now I am a god I won’t let anyone look down on me!” Alex bellowed as he raced towards the flames like a beam, smashing into the rolling sun!

Black flame core; Black flame armor!

Alex smashed into the rolling sun but was forced to stagger back as he struggled against it. Even with his body covered in black flame armor, he could still feel the heat.

A figure completely covered in white flame armor appeared by his side smashing into the rolling sun, only then were the two able to stop it.

“Calm down. We are in this together, okay? Don’t forget who you are…” Danny said calmly.

“Let’s show him!” Alex’s eyes narrowed within the armor as he looked at the massive sun they were struggling against

Buzz!

The two revealed hands surging with intense white and black flame.

A heart beating sound could be heard as steam surged out of the armor of the two.

Demon-kin secret technique; Kill!

Two fists collided with the sun and a powerful shockwave tore through the territory, stunning even the mighty sun god.

“Twin demon Lords… where did they find them? Such things shouldn’t exist anymore!” Aten muttered with a frown but his eyes remained firm and calm.

Twin gods are considered a blessing and twin demon Lords are even worse. They are the most powerful combinations any deity would seek to avoid. Even now these two were mere archangel-level beings yet they were able to display such terrifying strength.

“Maybe Anubis has nothing to do with these two… They are two new wandering demon Lords… it’s a good thing they came to me before they had the chance to slay them. After slaying them, with their demon core, I can finally raise my strength to a whole new level!” Aten said with greed blazing in his eyes.

Danny and Alex could only stand there and look at the mighty figure above openly plotting their death and what to do with their corpses.
