Alex and Danny stood side by side and for the first time in a long while Alex felt safe again. To have one of his most trusted and capable allies by his side, he would have loved to express how he felt but now was definitely not the time!

“Come…. We will end this as soon as possible” Danny said coldly

Lord Xi was the first to move as his body reacted toward the sky and as he waved his hands he created an invisible storm around him as he moved. Gathering the world power, he viciously slammed at the duo at once.

Alex and Danny bellowed as they made their moves. Alex raised his hand as the world trembled under his gravity power. An immense repulsive force exploded from his body, smashing into the enemy attack!

Danny snorted disdainfully as his infinity core surged fiercely with a strange power.

Almost instantly a fierce wind exploded from Danny surging into the air like a hurricane and spinning fiercely. The airborne Lord Xi was thrown off balance and carried away by the tornado, meanwhile, Danny and Alex shot each other a cold look before making their moves.

Danny shot into the hurricane and his body was engulfed by silver light before getting covered by silver energy armor.

Alex’s eyes chilled as immense flames exploded from his hands and as soon as he touched the surging tornado a mixture of orange and black flame mixed as they became a part of the tornado itself!

Feng Xi paled at the sight of this. Who would think such a powerful individual fighter would willingly cooperate skillfully? People like Alex and Danny are obvious lone wolves, yet their chemistry with each other in battle is over the roof!

Paquin clasped her hand together and black water exploded from her, surging like a turbulent sea as it crashed into the fiery tornado, shattering everything apart while sending the two combatants flying in different directions.

Lord Xi landed with a cold look on his face. It was a short exchange and even though he didn’t get hurt, these two beings who are meant to be mere Archangel-level beings somehow have enough power to threaten him alone.

“Your body… adapted to the matter absorption ability… it created an ability that represents all your stolen abilities. That’s probably why there are no side effects,” Alex said with a calm look on his face...

He wasn’t even looking at Danny while he said these words.

“Yours is different?” Danny asked as he checked Alex’s details with the help of his system. Only then did he pale in shock as he finally understood what it meant to be a defective deity.

“Backlashes… nothing new” Alex shrugged his shoulders and answered nonchalantly.

His focus was directed at the lady in the black turtle designer robes and a cruel smile bloomed on his face. It’s obvious Lord Xi must be working with the person who has the black water power. In fact, he doubted this was the actual person with the black water ability.

Back on earth, Dean Hall was blessed with this ability and now someone else was showcasing the power. Remembering the events of that day he was sure Lord Xi was not at the top of whatever organization he is in. Alex knew he was answering to someone, as a leader, he could sniff out fellow leaders and lord Xi wasn’t one of them.

If the people Lord Xi serves find it hard to deal with the black flame emperor then no one here would be his opponent, they are most likely subordinates as well. Whatever deity has this black water ability also has the power to give it out.

Could that be two divinities or one?

Alex frowned and discarded the thought. There is no reason for him to bother about something he has no power to confirm now. With time he was sure things will reveal themselves.

“Let’s get this over with fast, there is a lot I would like to show you…. A way we can gain strength faster than anyone else” Alex said with a calm look as the scarf began fluttering in the wind.

He raised his hand and the universal globe at the center of his chest let out a bright light, spreading its power far and wide.

“Universal core: Territory! Witness the power of a true God!” Alex snorted disdainfully as planets and stars began rolling into existence and his body shot into the air with three massive moves surging around him.

Alex moved his hands in a circular motion, releasing countless after images as what seemed like a solar system descended from the heavens smashing into the three below!

Feng Xi, Lord Xi, and Paquin paled as they all released their power to resist this but to their greatest surprise it felt like they were actually trying to lift an entire solar system.

Meanwhile somewhere within the city of gods, the Reboot God slowly opened its eyes and looked toward the sky.

In a space of two days, two true gods were born and these true gods are part of the invading forces of the mortal world. He frowned deeply as he looked in a certain direction. His eyes seemed to carry all the worries in the world.

“We kill the true gods first… I can’t let them live any longer…” The Reboot god said with a frown.

Just like that, his body split into three, each carrying a face of its own. The smiling face, the crying face, and the angry face.

The furious face of the Reboot God shot into the air, shooting towards Alex and Danny’s direction, meanwhile, the smiling god looked towards the crying god and spoke.

“I will use god’s descent and deal with these delinquents,” the smiling god said before casually walking away without looking back.

The crying god just remained seated in a cross-legged position and said nothing. One God must always remain home. There is a reason why!
