The dust gathered cleared and a being could be seen standing at the edge of the slope. He was close to seven feet tall and looked completely human. To be honest there were no major changes on Alex outside the hole in his chest which seemed to have been covered by a black gem.

Stars of various sizes and brightness could be seen twirling within the hole in his chest. He carried the aura of an entire realm and not a singular being.

Alex’s eyes were shut tight as images raced through his mind. He could see everything happening within the universe, he could feel it all as well.

He could see why these people were not praying to their gods as they have all become extremely technologically advanced.

“Growth brings about strength, strength builds confidence….with enough confidence even a mortal can challenge a god,” Alex said in a calm tone but he didn’t seem to care about their existence.

By absorbing the core and not becoming a part of it, he had the limitless energy of this universe to fuel his strength. Unless this universe seizes to exist, he would never have to worry about fading away just like the other deities.

His defect has been covered up and he has risen to the archangel realm. Who would have thought he would gain all of this just by consuming one of the numerous territories present?

His cold gaze shifted to the God beasts ahead of him and a cruel look bloomed on his face. A few moments ago, these beasts made the mighty Alex Briggs flee for his life but thanks to their actions, Alex Briggs has been reborn and has taken his place as a true God.

A true God!

These beasts could sense the change in aura belonging to the false God. He has attained a level that only the leaders of territory amongst god beasts should attain. Not only does he have the territory in him, but he also does not need to kill the inhabitants. His power had become one with the universe, just as it should be amongst god beasts.

“I grant them freedom in captivity…” Alex said as he felt his mind racing.

He finally realized why a god must be unbiased and unmoved by emotional things. It was easy for them to lose themselves in the feeling.

“Still won’t submit to me? If I still haven’t earned your respect, then I demand fear!” Alex’s eyes chilled as he noticed the reluctance in the eyes of these god beasts to let him go. He could still feel the hostility directed towards him and that’s what he plans to correct!

A God needs no army

A God is the embodiment of perfection!

What I seek are not allies but subordinates!

As it should be!

Alex’s eyes surged with power as he raised his hand and immense power explode from his body!

Galaxy core: Scorching sun!

Alex pressed his hands forward and the fiery Sun pushed forward, increasing in size as it moved. It was like a rolling ball of fire gathering more power as moved.

Shit!

The God beasts paled and many attempted to retreat but their dreams of escaping were shattered by Alex’s words.

“You all wish to escape now? I don’t remember giving that order” Alex’s voice was cold and detached as he looked towards the rolling sun and he stopped it in his tracks!

Increase!

Buzz!

The size of the sun suddenly expanded almost a hundredfold, taking the size of a small hill and scorching everything within its range or even beings miles outside its range.

Alex seemed oblivious to the chaos he was causing as he focused on the strings of energy surging into this body. His breathing was heavy but it didn’t seem like he was stressed. It was more like he was ecstatic! Lost in the beauty of this world.

Galaxy core: Black hole!

Buzzz!

At the center of the massive sun, a black hole emerged and a powerful suction force erupted pulling the countless surviving gods beasts towards it. Outside the feeling of having their body pulled out of their current location, the God beasts could also feel their power leaving them. It was like Alex was greedily consuming everything in them, leaving them with nothing but empty husks.

Cries of pain and sizzling sounds could be heard all through the night as every god beast in this territory was wiped out in one night.

….. The next day...

Lord Xi, Feng Xi, and Paquin, representative of the Blackwater faction, arrived at a scorched site. There were no corpses or vegetation, all they could see were signs of immense fire scorching this location. They all looked at each other with deep frowns on their faces.

Using everything provided to them, they tracked down Alex’s last location here and they had come to kill him only to find this.

“As of yesterday this place was still deeply forested and there should be a territory core here… because of this mission, we came with a strong force of thirty gods. Yet this..” Paquin said as she moved around the location with inquisitive eyes.

Hearing her blurt out the obvious is something these people found irritating but they were used to it.

Instead, they acknowledged there is something more disturbing to deal with other than this goddess with a problem.

“Is it possible he is the one that did all of this or could he be a victim of whatever did this?” Feng Xi asked with a surprised look on her face.

She had come here to see a pitiful replacement of her master and put an end to him but now she has seen something astonishing, she couldn’t help but feel ripples in her heart.

Who the hell is this mortal who can just come to the realm of Gods and start wreaking havoc in a single day?
