“Actually five. Ascended with four… one core is dormant I can’t use it. I stole the fifth” Alex replied honestly as he shrugged his shoulders, leaving the beast dumbfounded.

“How?” The Tiger God asked.

The God beast that wanted nothing more than to tear his opponents apart, was hesitant now.

“I was born during the extinction era of the world… went through a lot of hardships and unlocked the secrets of my world which manifested in forms of various powers,” Alex said, raising his hand as a black hole manifested in one and black flames in another.

At this point, it seemed like he was speaking to himself and no one else.

“I fought and I guess I won… During the Ascension, I was given the option to consume my world for the sake of the power needed to ascend. I rejected and waited for death…. Who would have thought I would come here as a reject” Alex said with a bitter smile and the God beast was dumbfounded.

It could sense the emotions swelling up in Alex as he spoke and deep down it knew Alex wasn’t lying. This man fought against the false gods which the God beasts hate.

“Now you are here and you are just a reject… you will most likely die in the wild or die when your time runs out. So what do you plan to do?” The tiger God asked with squinted eyes.

It seems as if this answer would determine whether their battle would continue or not.

“I will cover the heavens with one hand and I will destroy all the old gods have built…. I will free my people and never let them experience the fear of ever getting wiped out” Alex said with a stern look.

The shadow god Tiger gazed at Alex for a while with a strange look in their eyes. After observing for a few moments it finally exhaled and spoke.

“Don’t bother trying. The false gods have conquered territory and have built a stronghold… the black Emperor who came before you tried. He had the same black flame power but he failed” The shadow Tiger God said shocking Alex.

It was at this moment he remembered the Dàn-T?? Emperor and the reason for his actions. He remembered the black flame Emperor ascended to Godhood, with the aim of protecting his universe yet another purge tried to take place.

“You know the black flame Emperor?” Alex asked with a shocked look on his face.

“I was once his familiar…. He too failed to evolve and became a reject. He was cast into this world and he was the first deity who wielded the black flames. With this power, he dominated the realm even with his defect and created his faction in the territory of the false gods. As a God beast is not allowed entry, I couldn’t tell what happened to him. The seal binding our contract shattered one faithful day and since then, his story seemed to have faded” The Tiger God said with a bitter look on his face.

“Never fight a foe in his territory!” Alex mumbled with a stern look on his face.
