“Regardless of whether I am the reason for the invasion or not, they have come for us both, it’s unfortunate you fail to understand the secrets behind all of this and how detrimental it is for you to acquire the black flames!” The Dàn-T?? Emperor said with a stern look.

Hearing these words Alex and Silver were shaken. They could remember the words of the deity that appeared a week ago or so. The black flame emperor is the name of the deity Alex was supposed to replace. Thinking about it, attaining the black flames shattered the core of the Deity awakening ability, now all those going through the awakening process of the deity race have no other choice but to go through him.

Since he acquired this power he always had this feeling that he has taken something away from the world. Hearing someone call the black flames lightly infuriated him.

“What do you think the Dàn-T?? Emperor represents?” The Dàn-T?? Emperor asked with a calm and steady look.

“What do you think the true goal of the Danite race has always been? Or do you think we have been mindlessly conquering planets and solar systems?” The Dàn-T?? Emperor asked again with the same emotionless tone.

The more Alex heard the more his mind raced at the countless possibilities and a deep frown slowly appeared on his face. Even Silver who is known for his calm and cunning nature was stunned by the words of the Dàn-T?? Emperor.

Could it be that the Danites were aware of the invasion?

Is it that they were trying to gather as many resources from other races so that they can combat the invaders?

Thinking about it, the person who first encountered the invaders was a fleet of the Danite race led by the Danite second prince. Thinking about it now Alex could help but shudder.

Wasn’t it too continent for him to be there?

He was even able to take them on and retreat as well but the alliance has almost been completely destroyed during the past five years.

“Now it makes sense” Alex sighed as if a heavy burden has been lifted off his shoulders.

It felt like just knowing that the Danites knew more about the invaders removed a lot of burden from him. But then again, they know about the invaders doesn’t mean the Danites will win.

Yes, Alex is a very meticulous person when analyzing things like this. His cold gaze was pinned on the Dàn-T?? Emperor as he pondered. Knowing an enemy is coming doesn’t necessarily make you ready for them. In fact, the truth remains that even if the Danites have been preparing for this day from the beginning, it doesn’t necessarily mean they can win.

But it means their chances of winning are higher if the Danite race chooses to join hands with them.

“I’m guessing you are not here to avenge your son or demand compensation?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow and the Danite Emperor nodded in agreement which made Alex frown.

He always had this sixth sense that has allowed him to survive for this long. His sensitivity towards danger is high and currently, his body was screaming at the top of its voice.

This Dàn-T?? Emperor is someone capable of taking his life!

Determining this one is more than enough to make Alex restless but he pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind and the same indifferent look on his face.

A battle between experts starts with the mind first!

Once the battle of the mind is lost, the main fight is sure to be lost as well.

“The black flame emperor you speak of is my father. The last invasion that took place was fought by him, he gained the approval of the high gods and the Danite race was spared… We thought the worst had passed but even then the Danite race is not dumb and will always take precautions. As the only race with the approval of the high gods we were spared, so naturally, we have been ahead of all races present by at least a thousand years at least… But then the black flame emperor vanished amongst the heavens. His temple back on my home planet shattered and then another invasion happened. This time we are also a target of the High gods and their hive pawns” The Dàn-T?? Emperor explained in a calm, slow and steady tone.

Even though his story was short, it involved the wiping out of all races and even Alex would shudder when thinking about the death of all life in the universe but the Dàn-T?? Emperor remained calm even when saying these words

Like a shift in energy Silver and Little Alex felt greatly suppressed. They could feel the tension in the room and the change in Alex’s aura!

He has shown weakness!

Silver frowned but he too was shaken by the information received so he couldn’t blame Alex for what he did. Seeing a being who has lived through the past civilization that was wiped out. The current Dàn-T?? Emperor was tens of thousands of years old. He was far more intimidating than any being Alex has considered an old monster. Compared to this man, Wilder Briggs and Bruce Ainsworth looked like kids.

But Alex is no pushover! His shaken spirit lasted for a second or two at most as he regained composure and his eyes turned cold.

“If what you say is true, then it means you need us just as much as we need you” Alex explained calmly but strangely the Dàn-T?? Emperor shook his head in refusal.

He looked up and the indifference on his face changed as a cold frown slowly manifested.

“The high gods have come to you and have chosen you to replace my father… The black flames you possess are a mistake that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. My chance of finding out what happened to the man I called father is almost over” Dàn-T?? Emperor said with frosty eyes.

Hearing this Alex revealed a cruel frown but he leaned back and snorted disdainfully.

“Almost? Since I have been selected the only way to replace me is to take my place….” Alex said with cold eyes as his aura exploded.

He refused to be threatened!
