333 Failed mission

Last time Alex remembered Dean Hall decided to back the God sect and the Danites and with the support of a good number of the hall family members he was able to start a rebellion in the capital but it didn’t last long. The God sect of the hall family decided to maintain a good relationship with Alex and turned on their clan patriarch. With the remaining members who chose to remain loyal to Alex, they fought against the rebellion and won.

Dean Hall was defeated and badly hurt but he managed to escape. Now the four members of the hall family god sect are the current leaders of the hall family.

Alex always wondered what happened to Dean and now he finally found out.

“In my deepest darkest moments, when I believed all was lost, the high gods appeared and revealed my true purpose for this life. I will be the one to continue and watch over the human race when the time is exterminated and life restarts! For this reason, I must destroy you who wish to destroy the natural cycle of things!” Dean Hall growled and Alex frowned.

Dean Hall has always been a selfish person from the very beginning. He was the first to betray the human race and work with the Danites, even before the God sect joined them. He has been one of the most difficult characters for Alex to deal with and now he is the one who took Damian’s life.

Huff!

Alex would be enraged in normal circumstances but he wasn’t this time. He had lots of questions he wished to ask and more things he needed to know about the new Dean. Alex felt like something had changed about his power and he couldn’t understand why Dean Hall was in the body of a teenager.

“I have become a Blessed! A being with a purpose far greater than yours!” Dean Hall growled as more cards swarmed around him, spinning fiercely before racing towards Alex.

Hmph!

Alex refused to retreat because of someone like Dean Hall. He threw his hand open and a powerful shockwave erupted from his body, blowing all the cards away.

Swoosh!

His eyes revealed killing lights as he reached for the stars and took off the darkness, causing it to manifest into reality,

“I am not a being you can afford to offend anymore!” Dean Hall growled furiously as he pulled and a world of darkness descended on Alex from above but this was no normal darkness.

Death!

Alex’s eyes chilled as he noticed the strange yet familiar aura emerging from the world of darkness. Fear crept into his eyes as three familiar figures emerged from the world of darkness.

Mr. Blade, Damian Briggs, and Hazard of the Culture!

Roar!

Alex’s furious cry shook the entire planet as black flames exploded from his body!

“YOU DARE!”Alex bellowed as he punched forward and a sea of black flames raced forward.

Hmph!

Dean Hall snorted disdainfully as he and his army of the dead retreated into the world of darkness, vanishing completely, leaving a helpless army of soldiers and deviants with no leader!

Bang!

Shockwave tore through all parts of the world as Alex stood above a fifty-meter-deep crater with a fierce look on his face. His eyes gazed at the spot where Dean Hall and the three dark soldiers of his once stood. The stench he got from them was too diabolical. It was something he felt shouldn’t be allowed to exist in the first place.

“This is a movement you cannot stop. One after the other, the core members of the nameless will die to me. By the time the Hive arrives, its defenders will become a part of my undying army! Even you and Silver won’t be able to protect everyone! Hahahahahahahahahaha!” Dean Hall’s cold voice boomed across the world and Alex frowned.

Openly declaring his intentions is like challenging Alex and the guardians of this new world. Should they fail to protect the core members of the nameless and another one should die now, it would be a heavy blow to them.

The sign of weakness the Danites need.

Alex frowned at the thought of all of this. Recalling the nameless core members scattered across the world would be considered as him showing weakness but then again, how else would he protect his people?

He planned to quickly handle this issue and leave for the sky demon planet in hopes of strengthening his blood demon art but considering the way things are looking now, he was beginning to forgo such plans.

[How did it go?]

Silver’s voice rang from the earbuds causing him to frown.

“Found my brother’s killer. Turns out it was Dean Hall. He can revive the dead now and so many crazy shits. We fought and he escaped” Alex said with a defeated look on his face.

Although he scorched tens of thousands of rebel forces, he didn’t feel accomplished. His killing intent was pinned on Dean and Dean alone.

[Well, this is what happens when you let your wife ground the two strongest forces in the universe. We let things escalate this far! If we had fought against the rebels ourselves they would have been wiped out by now!] Silver said In a stern tone and Alex sighed.

“What’s done is done, stop dwelling in the past. How did your side go” Alex rolled his eyes while responding.

[We couldn’t establish dominance but we showed strength so I think we can still fix the situation but we may need you to make a personal appearance] Silver said in a low and calm tone.

Alex heard this and frowned without being told he knew what Silver had in mind.

“The things you make me do…. You owe me a lot” Alex sighed bitterly while low chuckles could be heard on the other side.

He initially planned to reject but then he stopped and frowned. He was pissed and this could be considered a good way to relieve stress.

“Very well then, I will play that game If you agree to play along this time” Alex chuckled.
