Chapter 4

Name:Descent of the Demon God Author:
The answer came through right away, and Yimyung drove through now open street due to all the vehicles that had moved aside and pressed his foot down on the accelerator. He wasn’t that far from 2nd street and he would soon find out what had dropped where.

*mumble mumble*

People were gathered around a certain location. There were three PSB vehicles that had arrived before Yimyung.

Yimyung got out of his white SUV and took out his PSB ID as he looked at the crowd.

‘Ugh, people and their curiosity.’

If it was related to the Gate, it could be dangerous, but people weren’t running away from it. It was quite weird since the 5th Grade Danger entity from the Gate was enough to risk the lives of all the people here. Even if there was only one entity, it was enough to kill unarmed citizens easily.

‘Idiots. They should’ve dispersed the crowd first if they got here. What the hell are they doing?’

Yimyung thought and shouted to the citizens with an annoyed look.

“PSB! Get away from here! Get away!”

*mumble mumble*

But even with his shouts, the crowd didn’t budge and kept focusing on something that they had surrounded. They all had smartphones in their hands but none snapped pictures on their phone.

‘I guess they still had time to turn on the video disruptor.’

The world was full of information from media, and so everyone had the ability to capture videos with their smartphones. To combat this, the government and PSB created a device to disrupt these devices from recording videos. All smartphones being effected by this device erased all recorded videos on the same day.

*beep*

The smartphone on Yimyung’s wrist was also turned off. This kind of measure wasn’t possible in other governments within the Asia Union, but the government of the former Communist Party of China was the only place where one could enforce such harsh laws. But thanks to this, it was possible to restrict unnecessary information leakage.

‘I guess we can’t do much about the crowd.’

It seemed like a full team of PSB Tactical forces was needed to disperse this type of large crowd. It was too many for Yimyung to do it on his own.

‘But if they are not running away, maybe it’s not that dangerous.’

If it was dangerous, all these people would have fled for their lives a long time ago. Yimyung quickly fought his way through the people and got inside the ring. He then turned to what the people were focusing on to see what the fuss was about…

‘…Huh?’

Yimyung became dumbfounded as his tense expectation returned with an unexpected sight. He then mumbled in disbelief, “What the… what is with that clothing?”

A young man with long black hair and a pale handsome face was standing there. But he was wearing a dark black traditional clothing, only to be found in movies based off medieval times, which fit the young man perfectly.

‘Uh… is it some kind of movie shooting?’

Yimyung felt like he was a fool for feeling so tense after seeing the flying object. Aside from the young man who seemed as if he had come from a different time in history, there was no sign of any unidentified flying objects having dropped here.

*click*

That’s when one of the four PSB Officers aiming their small handguns at the young man reached toward his waist for the handcuffs. These people were low-ranking police officers from the nearby station. Two officers then carefully walked toward the medieval-fashioned unarmed young man. Yimyung then walked up to the other two who still had their handguns pointed and showed his ID to them. The officers were holding their guns, so they couldn’t salute and just nodded to the higher-ranking Yimyung.

“I’m Yimyung, 3rd Team Leader of PSB Homicides. I was reported of an unidentified flying object being dropped here. But why are you aiming your gun at an unarmed citizen?”

That was what Yimyung couldn’t understand. Even with the strange and out of time clothing, it didn’t make sense as to why these officers were trying to arrest an innocent-looking citizen. That’s when one of the officers spoke.

“S-sir. It’s him.”

“Him?”

“That man in old clothing… he’s the unidentified flying object that just fell from the sky!”

“What nonsense are you talking ab…”

It was then. Something unexpected happened before Yimyung could finish speaking.

*THUD*

“UGH!”

One of the officers who walked over to the young man with a handcuff was thrown away with just flick of a hand as if it was a movie.

*Crash*

“Aaargh…”

The officer couldn’t get up as he seemed to be in serious pain.

“Dammit!”

Another officer then tried to handcuff the young man instead, but this time his wrist was caught by the young man.

*grab*

“HUH?”

*crush*

The sound of bones being crushed was heard and Yimyung’s eyes grew large.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaargh! MY ARM!!!”

The officer’s right arm was twisted in a weird way. The arm twisted in such a manner that even the bone stuck out of the officer’s skin and his clothing.

“Kyaaaaaaaah!”

“Hieeeek!”

“T-the bone popped out!”

Even the crowd who was watching became so shocked at such a gruesome sight and turned away.

“What the f**k!”

Yimyung, who was questioning officers on why they were aiming their guns at the citizen, took out his own gun immediately and aimed it at the young man.
