Chapter 245 245 – Inter-Dimensional Portal

"This looks absolutely amazing." The mare chuckled. "Szur has a feeling something extraordinary is about to happen."

The Kraken and the silver-scaled lizard emitted white light, shrunk into a ball, then sank into the pillar.

"Sprinkle the giganpoppy powder around this pillar, Velvet." Ayre had a little difficulty speaking. "And hurry up. I can't do this for too long."

Velvet immediately did Ayre's request, sprinkling the white powder around the pillar until it ran out.

After that, the giant magic circle beneath their feet also emitted blue light. Their hair and clothes fluttered in the wind swirling around the pillar.

"Is this working!?" Velvet had to raise her voice a little because of the strong wind.

"I don't know." Ayre removed her hand from the pillar and stepped back. "Let's wait and see."

A portal, also light blue in color, started forming under the pillar. The longer time passed, the bigger that thing.

"Don't back down. Stay here." Ayre gave an order. "This thing will bring us to that dimension."

They both looked back and waved. The others waved back.

The slowly rotating vortex of light finally reached the feet of the two women.

"Here we go." Ayre sighed as she and Velvet started sinking into it.

"This is so warm," Velvet commented.

It didn't take a minute for the two of them to sink entirely into the portal.

The atmosphere became silent. All that could be heard was the wind which strangely grew louder.

"Why didn't it disappear?" Phisovia wondered.

Emily frowned. "Why is the wind even stronger?"

Lexi's eyes widened. "This is…. We must run!!!"

But it was too late. The wind from the portal grew crazier and sucked up everything with incredible power. Ritor immediately dug his fingers into the ground to hold up, and Szur held on to his arm.

Meanwhile, the others are being sucked fast into the portal.

Phisovia, also in the air, immediately stretched her hair out to catch Xenora. The succubus' wings kept her from being immediately sucked in like the others.

"You have to stay here, Xen!!!" Phisovia shouted, moving her former subordinates towards RItor. "You have to keep running this empire!!!"

"Phisovia!!!" Xenora finally managed to hold on to Ritor. "Hold on! I will call for help!"

"I'm not sure I want to stay here!!!" The red-haired succubus laughed. "I can meet lord Vorn if I enter that portal, after all!"

"Don't be stupid! Your regimen needs you!"

Ritor groaned. His body began to shift towards that portal, making long finger marks.

"I will not…. Leaving Lana…" The minotaur dug his fingers into the ground deeper. "Argggghhhh!!!"

Phisovia was no longer strong enough to fly in the opposite direction, and the portal finally sucked her in as well.

And then, the light in the magic circle dimmed, and the wind force of the portal also decreased.

Seconds passed, and all of it disappeared, including the portal in the middle of the magic circle.

Ritor lay on the ground. His breath was ragged, and his fingers were bleeding.

"Isn't this a disaster?" Szur, with messy fur, asked. "Szur heard only three individuals can make this trip. Can they go home?"

"Yes, that is a big problem." Xenora massaged her forehead. "And we also just lost our top health official and two generals. It will cause a lot of complications. Not to mention I'm the one who has to explain all of this."

Szur turned his head to the succubus. "Good luck."

***

[Vorn's POV]

I lay on the top of my cell bunk. My gaze was fixed on the dark ceiling. It's already night, but I can't sleep yet.

It's been almost three months since Hiana "killed me."

The authorities fast-track my trial because I am considered a very dangerous person. Everyone I attacked in front of the restaurant had permanent disabilities.

But I don't care about that.

How is my empire doing? Are my subordinates all right?

My time here has been torturous, but that doesn't mean I'm giving up. I'll be back there no matter what.

I sighed and closed my eyes. Images of my women flashed through my head.

Damn, I miss their warmth.

When I opened my eyes again, I saw a vortex of dim yellow light on the ceiling. My chin immediately dropped.

I didn't even have time to react, and something fell from there on top of my body.

"What?" I froze at the sight of the skin-colored goo that enveloped me.

Not long after, a black-haired figure fell from the portal, also on top of me. I groaned slightly from the pain from the impact.

"V-velvet? Is that you?" Instantly I held my breath, looking at my wife's face, not caring about the weight of the two things above me.

"If you know her name, you are most likely Lord Vorn." Ayre's voice appeared. The goo transformed into Ayre's usual human form, with neck-curly blond hair and blue eyes.

I desperately held back my tears so they wouldn't spill. Finally, they came.

"I can tell you about our story five hundred years ago, Ayre." I turned to look at Velvet. "And I can explain our hot times in detail, my love."

The dragon woman's eyes began to be filled with tears. "You really are Lord Vorn?"

"Yes." I flashed a faint smile. "Ah, we better…."

Before I even finished speaking, several other things fell from the portal in the ceiling, causing the bed to collapse onto the mattress below, making a sound like an explosion.

"What was that!?" The voice of the prison warden came from a distance.

And all I can see is darkness. I'm also having trouble breathing. They covered me completely.

"What? Why are you girls here too!?" Velvet asked.

"Well, I don't understand. The portal suddenly sucked us in."

That voice…. Phisovia?

"Apparently, there was something unexpected about the ritual."

Lexi? Is she also here?

"Sorry, you're sitting on my face…. Whoever it is."

And Emily?

Shit. I'm having a hard time holding back my tears. This feels so unreal to me.

"We'd better talk about that later." Ayre made a suggestion. "Now, let's get away from Lord Vorn first, or he will die."
