Bai SiNing panicked, spinning in place, “What do we do? What do we do!? Is Ang-ge about to give birth?”

“Ye Fei, you take care of Gu Ang.” Lin XiuYong, who was still conscious, went straight to the cockpit and started to control the landing. He called out, “Little Bai, come here, you are more familiar with this planet, where is the hospital?”

“I’m coming.” Bai SiNing settled down and ran over quickly, reaching out to mark a red dot on the map, “This hospital is the best, go here.”

The two men nervously maneuvered the ship, heading to their destination as fast as they could.

Ye Fei picked up Gu Ang across the waist and carefully placed him on the sofa in the hall. He touched Gu Ang’s forehead worriedly, his palm touching the skin, a little hot, “Light, how do you feel now?”

“Not too good, it hurts so much that I have no strength.” Gu Ang’s face was miserably white, and his breath was as thin as silk. When a real knife entered his body on the battlefield, he only frowned slightly. But now, he really hurt so much that his limbs curled up, like falling into purgatory.

Ye Fei fell into infinite self-blame, “It’s my fault, I should not have brought you out.”

He hated that all the pain was doubled into himself, but there was nothing he could do.

Gu Ang took a breath before saying slowly, “I was the one who insisted on coming along. And you wouldn’t be there, so you wanted me to have the baby alone?”

“That’s true. Forget it, let’s not talk about it, I’ll go get you a glass of water.” Ye Fei’s face sank as he turned to the pantry and boiled a pot of hot water, and asked Lin XiuYong, “How much longer?”

Lin XiuYong looked at the map and said, “Five minutes at the earliest, hold on a little longer, we’ll be there soon.”

“Okay, thank you.” Ye Fei patted his shoulder and went back to the hall. He picked up Gu Ang and fed the water little by little, watching the dry lips become slightly moist. “Light, what can I do to help you?”

This was the first time that Yei Fei had been with someone giving so he had no experience. He looked at his little husband with a painful face, his heart was in turmoil but his hands were helpless.

Gu Ang shook his head, “I don’t know.”

“Adjust your breathing, breathe in slowly and breathe out.” Ye Fei braced his shoulders and did the guiding.

Gu Ang closed his eyes and tried to change his breathing rhythm. It may have been a psychological effect or it may have really helped, but the pain did slow down a bit.

“Hang in there, it will be better when the baby is born.” Ye Fei lowered his head and kissed him, one by one, soothingly. After a while, he took a towel and put it under Gu Ang, which instantly turned red.

Ye Fei’s frown tightened.

“One more minute, Ang-ge hold on!” Bai SiNing yelled loudly.

“Almost there.” Ye Fei leaned down and hugged Gu Ang tighter, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here. If it hurts, grab my hand.”

Gu Ang obeyed and pinched his palm, his fingertips almost sinking into the flesh. This process was really torturous, like a stick pounded into the abdomen, and then kneading his organs a little bit.

“Are you cold? Do you want to cover the bed with a quilt? Still thirsty, drink some more water? Do you want to eat something? I’m afraid you won’t have the strength later. Does it still hurt that much?”

Gu Ang pulled out a weak smile, “Ge, you’re so noisy.”

Ye Fei reached out and rubbed Gu Ang’s stomach, “Good boy, don’t make a fuss, don’t torment your little father. Otherwise, when you come out, I’ll beat you up.”

His belly puffed out, as if in response.

“Why are you still threatening them?” Gu Ang was amused and felt his little belly twitch again.

Ye Fei snorted coldly, “It’s all because he makes you hurt so much.”

Gu Ang mocked, “Then don’t you see who started it?”

“Blame me, blame me, it’s all my fault, I won’t have any more.” Ye Fei sighed.

Hearing this, Gu Ang was a little stunned. In the midst of the pain, there was suddenly a touch more of a wonderful feeling. He could feel a little movement coming from him, like the baby was greeting him in advance. When he thought that this child was his and Ye Fei’s, it seemed that even the greatest suffering became easier to accept. It was just a baby, no big deal. He was suddenly a little impatient.

What will Huang look like? A boy or a girl? Whose personality would they have? For this unknown little life, the heart gave birth to a common sense of blood connection.

“We’ve landed, I’m going down to call the doctor.” Lin XiuYong parked the ship on the lawn outside the hospital and dragged Bai SiNing out of the hatch in a hurry.

Gu Ang leaned on Ye Fei and turned into a soft ball. The man on his body gave him the most solid arms, as if he was afraid of everything again. Shortly after, a large group of medical personnel came in.

Gu Ang was put on a stretcher and taken to the vip ward.

Ye Fei asked anxiously, “How is it? Is the baby coming?”

“Luckily you got here in time, it’s about time. When the reproductive cavity is opened, we can deliver the baby.” The doctor finished his examination and helped to clean up the blood, “But because his reproductive cavity is very narrow, we recommend a cesarean section to reduce the pain.”

“Okay, do as you say.” Ye Fei said sincerely, “Make sure he’s safe.”

Gu Ang, lying in a cold sweat, asked weakly, “How much longer?”

“Soon, don’t be anxious.” The nurse reassured beside him, “Both dads are so handsome, they must be a beautiful little baby.”

Gu Ang gave a muffled cry and slowly closed his eyes. After half an hour, he felt a growing pain that felt like it was going to tear his body apart. His five fingers gripped the sheets and he let out a low gasp of pain.

The doctor examined him carefully and made a judgment, “Almost there, send him to the delivery room.”

A group of people pushed the bed over, Ye Fei quickly followed the group to the delivery room and was blocked from the door. He frowned, “I want to go in with him.”

The doctor was used to this, his expression did not fluctuate, “Wait at the door, the C-section is very fast.”

This was even more distracting since he was not allowed to enter. Ye Fei looked away from Gu Ang, who was lying on the operating table, from a distance, his face full of worry. He made a gesture over there, “Don’t be afraid, I love you.”

“Be patient, it’s okay.” The doctor nodded at him and pulled the door of the delivery room closed.

Ye Fei leaned back against the wall, his fingertips trembling as an afterthought. He couldn’t help but worry, his mother had died while giving birth to him, and he didn’t want to go through the same thing again. He clenched his palms, feeling that every minute was a torment. Through a door, he could almost empathize with Gu Ang’s pain.

As long as he was safe, everything was fine.

Ye Fei wanted to smoke and touched his body before he remembered that he had quit smoking a long time ago. He gritted his back teeth and pushed the irritation back in.

Bai SiNing saw his distracted look and pulled his sleeve, “God Ye, come and sit down. Don’t be anxious, Ang-ge is sure to be safe and sound.”

“Yes, these are top doctors, don’t worry too much.” Lin XiuYong also comforted him.

Ye Fei exhaled and sat in the waiting area next to him before he remembered to notify the parents on both sides. He dialed Qin Lehe first, “Mom, Gu Ang is ready to give birth. The location is at Silverwater Star, you meet up with my dad and come together.”

“What? Why are you guys doing so far away?” Qin Le He raised her voice and a wave of anger came out through the microphone, “Did you go on another mission? Why do you guys always let me worry?”

Ye Fei lowered his voice, “Blame me, we’re at the hospital now, he’s already in the delivery room, you guys should come over.”

“Okay, I’ll be right there.” Qin Le He gritted her teeth, “If Xiao Ang has any problems, I’m not finished with you.”

Ye Fei hung up the phone, rubbed his brow, and informed his father. He first got a scolding, followed by cold words, punches and kicks, and he could only be the one to suffer. Ye HongFeng was more nervous than he was, immediately left the army, met up with Qin LeHuo to rush to the hospital. But the journey was long and took two days, and the two parents could do nothing but wait.

After informing the parents, Ye Fei fell into silence again. He stared at the hour hand on his watch, turning round and round as if there was no end in sight. The door to the delivery room was still closed, and no movement could be detected.

It was clear that only half an hour had passed, but it was like walking through the past twenty-seven years of life all over again. A lot of memories flooded into his mind and ebbed, leaving only fragments of memories with Gu Ang.

The smiling Gu Ang, the crying Gu Ang, the angry Gu Ang, the stubborn Gu Ang. He liked every kind of expression, but he was afraid of the Gu Ang who had a pained face.

If something really happened…

He stuck his fingers in his hair, not daring to think about it. Ye Fei got to his feet and walked to the door of the delivery room.

Without warning, the door slashed open from the side and the doctor came out with a serious face.

“Are they born?” Ye Fei asked anxiously.

The doctor shook his head, his face looked somewhat grave, “Not yet, I need to get a blood transfusion bag.”

Ye Fei’s breath stopped, reached out and grabbed the doctor’s hand and said in a firm voice: “Protect my husband.” He added, “It doesn’t matter if the baby is gone, make sure my husband is safe.”

The doctor, “What?” He looked Ye Fei up and down, “Have you been watching too many TV shows? He’s bleeding a little too much and needs a blood transfusion, everything else is normal and there’s no danger.”

Ye Fei sighed with relief, “I thought-“

“Understandable, understandable, first time father, it’s normal.” The doctor patted his shoulder perfunctorily.

Bai SiNing spat out weakly, “This is the first time I’ve seen God Ye so out of control.”

Lin XiuYong gave him a look, “This concern is confusion.”

Ye Fei continued to stand against the wall, unable to do anything. He could wait, only wait. He prayed over and over again in his heart for peace. Another half hour passed and the door to the delivery room reopened.

Ye Fei’s pupils moved slightly and saw a pale Gu Ang lying on the bed being pushed out. He rushed to meet him, “Light, are you okay? Does it hurt? Where do you feel uncomfortable?”

“Ge, I’m fine. I was under anesthesia, I didn’t feel anything.” Gu Ang smiled weakly at him, “It’s good to see you again.”

Ye Fei lowered his head and kissed his brow, “You’ve had it tough.”

Bai SiNing breathed heavily, “Ang-ge is fine, it’s great.”

“Send the patient back to the ward to rest first, and the family to carefully observe the follow-up condition.” The doctor instructed.

Ye Fei asked as an afterthought, “Where’s the baby?”

“Here he is.” The nurse held a small baby over, “Five pounds and six ounces, a handsome little baby boy.”

Ye Fei lowered his eyes and looked at him and his little wrinkled red face. Handsome? Are you sure? He hmmed, “It’s good that the baby is okay, let’s take Light back to the ward first.”

The nurse swept him a glance and spat, “You’re a real pro-dad with that indifferent attitude.”

Gu Ang was wheeled back to the ward, the lower half of his body was unfeeling as the anesthesia had not passed. The process was painless, and with less flesh, it was a relief. He felt amazing that in just an hour or so, a new life was born. From now on, apart from Qin Lehe and Ye Fei, he had a new bond.

Gu Ang moved his lips, “I’ll want to see HuangHuang.”

“You named him HuangHuang? That’s a cute name.”

Bai SiNing turned around and took the baby from the nurse, “He’s so small, I’m afraid I’ll break him.”

Small arms and legs, soft little mass.

Ye Fei reached out and picked him up, “I’ll hold him.”

He held the baby with his big palm and moved a little awkwardly. As if being held was uncomfortable, the baby was a little upset, stirring his legs and kicking him. The baby was not relieved, pouted, moaned twice and began to cry. Tears were falling down like rain, and his face was covered with tears in a few moments. He was moving around in defiance, his face full of aggression, struggling to break free from Ye Fei’s embrace.

Looking at the situation, the nurse struggled to squeeze out a smile, “Just now, the baby refused to cry after getting a shot from the doctor, and we thought there might be a breathing problem. In this pro father’s hands, look at him cry.”

Ye Fei, “…” He felt that this little baby was getting back at him for his prenatal threats.

Gu Ang lifted the quilt to take a look, frowned in disgust, “He’s a little ugly.”

The nurse was speechless, this was also a real father.

“He was just born, give him a few hours and he will be good.” The nurse’s scalp tingled with embarrassment, “I’ll go out first, ring the bell if something happens.”

Lin XiuYong grabbed Bai SiNing’s wrist, “You two must have a lot to say, let’s both go outside and buy some food.”

When the crowd dispersed, the room was left with two people staring at each other. Ye Fei took another look at the little one, scrutinizing him, and could barely see any trace of heredity, “Mn, eyes like you, nose and mouth like me, you can rest assured that it is just the opposite of the disguised face.”

“Good thing, otherwise I would have nightmares.” Gu Ang reached out, “Let me hold him.”

Ye Fei handed the baby over, and the baby’s soft little hands immediately grabbed Gu Ang and broke into more tears. The little red face looked a lot smoother, like a pure angel.

Gu Ang looked up and poked the truth, “He likes me, not you.”

“That’s normal, he and I might be enemies.” Ye Fei snorted coldly and pulled a stool to sit down.

Gu Ang laughed, “What? Are you jealous of him?”

Ye Fei gave the little brat a cross look, originally wanting to threaten a hand. But when his gaze touched the baby, his expression instantly became softer. Bloodline was really a very magical thing, this little thing was the continuation of his love with Gu Ang.

Ye Fei’s tone was gentle, “Jealousy is to be eaten, but from now on we are a family of three, I will take good care of you two.” He looked down and kissed the baby’s face and said affectionately, “HuangHuang, welcome to this world.”

The baby gave him a look, opened his mouth to draw in air, and cried out again. The sound of the loud cry resounded through the quiet ward.

“Don’t cry HuangHuang.” Gu Ang swayed back and forth comfortingly, “Although you don’t like him, but after all, he’s your father, you can only admit it.”

Ye Fei, “…” Fuck, he really pissed someone off.

Gu Ang held the baby for a while before letting Ye Fei put the baby into the cradle next to him. The little one seemed to be tired of crying and closed his eyes to fall asleep.

Outside, it was bright and sunny. The two of them were quiet for a while, enjoying the rare silence after the crying.

“Have you named him yet?” Gu Ang asked softly.

Ye Fei shook his head, “I was too flustered today to think about it.”

Gu Ang let out a hint, “I did think of one, Ye Min, half of Ang and half of Fei. I hope he will always be as free as the sky.” 1

“Ye Min,” Ye Fei repeated in a low voice, “It’s nice.”

Gu Ang held his expression and suddenly burst out laughing.

Ye Fei took a towel and wiped the sweat from his forehead, “What are you laughing at?”

“I’m teasing you.” Gu Ang narrowed his eyes and his tone was a bit unkind, “Pet name is RiGuang, formal name is RiWen. 2 Ge, you are tricked by me. Are you sure you want him to be called that? I’ll use it to laugh at you.”

Ye Fei raised his eyebrows, how could he not have thought of this layer? He said softly, “I don’t care.”

Gu Ang was originally an alpha like him, and had the desire to overpower him in his heart. Now that he had become an omega, in the dark, he was sacrificing too much for their love. If the name could make him feel a subtle respect and balance in his heart. Then, he did not care.

Gu Ang opened his mouth and looked slightly moved, “You don’t mind being used by me to tease you?”

He really just wanted to make a mouthful to get back the field he lost on his wedding day.

Gu Ang thought that Ye Fei would have absolute strength in such a discreet matter as naming. But the man only touched his lips lightly, “I don’t care, as long as you are happy.”
