Chapter 158 - A Rose Gold Bracelet

Wayne Tower.

Mr. Carson went to the reception counter and ask the receptionist to meet with Mr. Raymond today. Unfortunately, no one was allowed to meet Mr. Raymond without permission from Madam Barbara or Mr. James and they also didn't dare to break the order given by their boss.

With that being said, Mr. Carson had to take a daring move to secretly bring Luna to Raymond's office. Raymond had a special office in this tower and he also conducted his branch business in another office building. Apparently, he frequently going to this building ever since he starts working again.

Mr. James gives him a post as a temporary Vice President for him to prove to other board directors that he was capable to be the next president.

Mr. Carson walks out of the building in a rush and doesn't notice that he was seen by Sarah who also wants to go inside the building. Upon seeing him went to the car parked at the roadside and seeing there's a glimpse of Luna inside the car, she smile and went inside the building.

Mr. Carson drives the car and parked at the basement parking before they walk to the private's lift which is usually used by the executive member only. Luna following him from behind.

"Erm Luna..do you bring any keys that Mr. Raymond gives you?" He asked. To enter the private elevator lobby, they need to tap the access key first on the security panel box.

Luna rummages her handbag and gives Mr. Carson a set of platinum keys. Only one key is made of gold, and it was his cabin house key.

Mr. Carson frowned looking at the keys. "Only two?" he asked and Luna nods her head.

He's out of option and decides to try his luck with the platinum keycard. He taps on the black box attached to the glass door and in a second it beeps with a green light before the door is open.

"Oh..he really gives you his access, huh." He mumbles and leads Luna to the elevator lobby, pressing the button on the marble wall and wait for the elevator door to open.

Once the door is open, they both walk into it and he taps again the key before the elevator automatically brings them to the floor which goes straight to Raymond's office.

Ding!

The elevator door opens and they arrive at Raymond's office. They were lucky there's no one in his office. Luna looked around the office for a moment before they heard the heels clicking sound approaching the door. Mr. Carson immediately grabs her hand and hides behind the bar counter.

"Shh..we'll only go out if Mr. Raymond is alone, if not we're gonna get busted and send to jail." He said with a low voice and Luna nod at him. Aware of their situation. They're literally, breaking into Raymond's office right now.

The door is opened by someone and there's a few steps sound walk into the room. "Owen, I need you to give this file to my father and bring me the annual report of Wayne industries. I need that report before noon." Raymond's voice sounded so firm and the man who takes the file immediately bobbed his head and walk out of the room.

Leaving him with the one who's wearing the heels. "Babe..why aren't you allowed me to come into your room when you're in a meeting? I've been waiting for you at the outside for ten minutes, you know." She went to the sofa and slump her handbag lazily.

"I can't allow anyone to enter my room without permission. And anyway, why you're here?" He was still focused on his laptop and write something on the paper. Focus on his work.

"Hmmm…it's about your divorce." She played with her hair for a bit hoping that he will look at her.

"What about it?"

Sarah opens her mouth want to say something and she suddenly saw a glimpse of someone behind the bar counter. She tilts her head a bit and she grinning before she strides to Raymond's desk.

Turning his leather swivel chair to facing her, she sits on his laps to which then Raymond scrunch his eyebrow, questioning her odd moves.

"I heard you send your men to find her and she refused to sign the divorce paper." Sarah plays with his tie and lean closer to him.

"Why don't you try sending a cop to arrest her? Once you're divorce, we can get married and…" She suddenly kissed him on the lips which Raymond push her waist away and that's when Owen knock on the door.

"Um..Mr. Raymond.."

Sarah growl and stand up again. Raymond did not utter one word at all as he then takes his file on the desk and went to the door.

"Sarah, I have to go now, you should wait outside or maybe I'll call you after working hour?" He said and standing at the door frame, waiting for her to walk out of his office before Owen can lock it.

Sarah takes her handbag and glances over at the bar counter while slightly smile. She went to the door frame and again, kissing the man on the cheek before she softly said. "I'll wait for your call then."

Once the door was locked, Luna and Mr. Carson get out from the hiding place. He looked at her who looks dejected. "You still wanna wait for him?" He softly asked.

Luna shakes her head. "No. Let's go home, Charles..I've seen everything that I want to see." She said and walk to the elevator door, leaving Mr. Carson to hang his head down, unable to help her in this kind of situation.

That day, they both went back to their mansion and Luna frequently visited her parents after that. She sends her university application and waits for the reply.

Raymond walks to his office building and was greeted by Graham, his secretary. "Good morning, Mr. Raymond." He said and help him to take off his coat and hang it at the coat hanger inside his office.

"Morning, Graham. Anything important today?" Raymond asks him and the man immediately brings out a paper bag he brought from his desk.

"No, but, this sir..when last time you come here, Maria accidentally smeared your coat with coffee and she insists on cleaning it, but the next day, her husband has been hospitalized and she takes a long break from work after that. Today, she brings this to me, said that it needs to be returned to you. She said she was sorry that she has forgotten about this." Graham tries to explain it to him, hoping that this man did not fire the poor lady today.

"Just put it there and bring me this month's report." He said and avert his eyes to his laptop. It's been three months since last he comes here and when he opens his laptop on the desk, he frowned looking at the home screen picture on his laptop.

It was a picture of a girl's hand with a blurred background. Holding his hand from the front and it was in the fall season in the mountain area. The girl had a backpack and has a medium-long hair just below her shoulder. 'Is this even my picture?'

He ignores it and continues to do his work until he notices the paper bag that Graham put on the chair in front of him. He tilts his head a bit. "When did Maria dirtied my coat?" He squinting his eyes and took out the coat from the paper bag before something fell off from its pocket which then he averts his eyes to the medium size box carved with 'Tiffany & Co' brand on it.

He took it and sighs. "Must be for Sarah." He mumbles and opens the box before he dumbfounded.

It was a rose gold bracelet designed with Luna's name on it. Each of the letters is made of red diamonds and it was carved inside the bracelet with a small letter around it. Judging by the special design and the rare diamond that use to make this bracelet, it probably costs more than a couple of hundred thousand dollars.

He looked at the word carved inside the bracelet.

'Through thick and thin, through health and sickness, I'll be always yours.'
