Chapter 137 - I Smell Something Sweet.

Luna watches Raymond letting off the boat from the Jeep's tow to the river at the sidelines. It seems like there are more people who also do the same thing as them. Except they all go with a group which Luna thinks maybe they're a fan of these activities.

She helps him by loading the fishing rod and bait box to put it into the boat. There's also a basket of their lunch and teatime inside the basket that Luna makes before leaving the house. She always prepares a simple menu for them to eat on this journey. Probably because 'that man' is a fan of her cooking.

After Raymond returns back from parking the car, he looks at Luna who still loading the boat with the icebox. He then picks up the box from her and smiles. "Let me do it." He put the box into the boat which makes Luna scrunch her eyebrow a bit.

"What?" Raymond asks when he saw that expression on her face.

"Nothing. The last time you've said to me that you don't know how to row a boat. So, are you sure wanna do this activity?" She shrugged.

Chuckles, Raymond get inside the boat and help to lift her up into the boat too. "That was a dinghy and this is a motorboat. There's a different you know. I can steer an engine but not rowing." He stops for a moment before he squinted his eyes. "Wait, I guess I can row..with someone who good at navigation, obviously." He smirks to which Luna squinted her eyes to him, annoyed.

"I'm not going to give you any navigation today. You're on your own. Hmph!" She folds both of her arms to her chest and turns her head to the sideways. Don't want to look at him.

Raymond softly laughing and start the engine. They went across the river and find a good spot to start fishing. After an hour of waiting, Luna got bored. She yawns and leans on the boat railing.

"Raymond…why there's no fish yet?" She turns her head to the man who sits at the edge of the boat. Silently wait for his fishing rod to sway.

"Just wait for a-" He stops his word when he saw his fishing rod start to sway a bit. "Shh." He looks at Luna and put his finger on his lips.

Luna tilts her head to see his action now. She didn't say anything as she keeps watch him pull the rod. It looks heavy and he already turns red from pulling it too long.

Luna feels sorry for him and she decides to help him pull the fishing rod. They both pull the fishing rod together. Just like what Luna thinking, the fish is struggling so hard and they both almost lost energy to fight again.

"Maybe we can just let it go?" Luna said while looked up at the man behind her.

"Nope. I want this fish." Raymond still stubbornly wants to pull the rod. A few men from another boat saw them and decide to help them.

After almost half an hour more with the help of another group of people, they finally got the fish which is almost reached 40kg and 5 feet long. It was such a happy moment when finally they got the biggest fish on the lake.

The fish didn't even fit on the icebox they brought along. Raymond sighs. Lucky for them, the group who help them offering them help to cut the fish first at the riverside and only take the fillet back with them.

Raymond didn't object their suggestion and he also gives half of the fish to them as a reward for helping him pulling the fishing rod. This is quite a harmony scene since Raymond was known as a person who had no friend at all manage to mingle with other people on this trip.

Even though he might not much of a speaker, but this group of people was so cheery and it somehow lit up the atmosphere. When it is almost dark, Raymond and Luna take their leave from the campsite and return to their cabin home.

On the way back, Luna did remind Raymond about the supermarket they have to go first before returning to the cabin house.

After Raymond park the car, Luna smell on her shirt a bit. "Do I smell bad?" She asks him afterward. Spending too much time at the river and cutting the fish, she feels like she smells like a fish now.

Raymond pulls her waist into his embrace, sniffing her neck and shoulder. People around them at the parking lot turned their heads twice to see what they were doing in the open space. It somehow embarrassing her. "I smell something sweet."

Raymond said and pull her away back. Looking at her red face. "Now, let's go." He took her hand and put it inside his coat pocket. It's quite chilly at night now.

"You…don't you feeling ashamed at all? Doing that in the open space where people can see us." Luna said while adjusting her pace to be equal with him.

"Why should I feel ashamed? You're my wife and I have every right to show my love for you." Raymond said it casually which makes Luna secretly smile at him.

"So, you admit that you love me?"

Raymond glance at her, "Maybe? Hmm, I don't know yet." He makes an unsure expression which only to irked her.

Luna pinches his arm and leans her head on his arm after that. "Don't lie to me."

Raymond chuckles and moves his hand to wrap it around her shoulder. He kisses on top of her head without replying to her question.

"Just hurry up and fall in love with me." Luna murmurs which can't be heard by Raymond as the music background in the supermarket quite loud.

They went to the bedding area and choose a new bed sheet and go grab for another box of a condom before they pay at the counter.

After spending a few days at the mountain, today they finally returned back to their mansion in SC.

While they were in the journey back, Raymond suddenly voices up. "Luna…do you know why that kid never shows up again?"

Luna scrunched up and look at him with a question in her mind. "What kid?"

"The 'day' Raymond."

Luna turned silent. "Mm…about that...I think I have something to tell you." She stammering a bit.

"Oh, really? Shoot. I'm all ear." Raymond smiles at her for a moment before he averts his eyes back to the road.

"Um...I think, he was traumatized by your father's doing."
