Chapter 128 - Did It Worsen?

Thud!

Raymond helplessly falls on his knees, looking at the end of the field where Luna was crying.

"See, easy right? She's lucky for being alive, for now. But in the next time..who knew what happen to her?" James said and put down his rifle. He then instructs his men to release Luna from the chain and leave the place.

He needs to run back to New York. His short visit to this mansion is already over. He already relays his warning to her and Raymond. The next time they do something that will bring Wayne's name down, he'll make sure to separate away his son's favorite 'toys' either three of them are now falling for the same stupid toys.

Once James was gone from the lawn, Raymond shakingly run to the dog. Patting his lifeless head and hug him close to his chest.

"Danny! Wake up! Wake up!" his cheek, hands, and shirt are now smeared with the blood.

"D-dear..he's gone." Luna pat on Raymond's shoulder. She knew, its not his intention to kill his own dog, he was pressured by his evil father.

"Wake up! Wake up! Come on, Danny! Fetch the ball, please..don't die." He still crying and ignoring what Luna's said.

Five minutes later, Mr. Carson runs to the end of the field and looks at them both with his confused face. "Who did this? What happen?"

His question triggers Raymond's sense as he stiffens and pulling his hair with his hands. "I-I-I kill him! I-I..No! Hic! I didn't mean to!" He starts ventilating on the ground.

"Oh my god! Call Dr. Fang! Now!" Mr. Carson yelled at one of the maids who running to them while he tries to stop Raymond from hitting himself.

Luna also helping Mr. Carson by holding his hand and try to calm him down. "Baby…please..don't hurt yourself. It's not your fault."

"I kill him! I kill him!" He keeps repeating the same word over and over until Dr. Fang arrives with a sedative shot in his hand. Once the drug starts to kick in, Luna slowly releases her hand from holding him.

She wipes her blood-stained hand on her shirt before she wipes her tears on the cheek. "Let's…bury the dog. And please..don't say a word about how the dog was killed when he wakes up later." Luna said to all of them who at the field at that time.

All of them nodded and help Luna to clear everything back to normal. It was such a crazy day for her and for the 'day' Raymond. She takes a long time in a bath that day.

The next day,

A few men in a black suit suddenly comes to the mansion with the same color dog as Danny. On his collar also has a name tag the same as Danny. That makes Luna frowned.

"This is Master James's order. He wishes everyone to not reveal about the dog as he already compensates the new one." One of the men said coldly which then Mr. Carson press his lips together more tightly.

Raymond was still not waking up since yesterday because of the trauma he had. Either one of them is not taking over the body since yesterday.

Luna just watched them put the dog on the dog lounge that Raymond built for the real Danny. At first, she was feeling curious as to why they took a long path and keep avoiding a certain area until when they're gone, she realizes that they actually, avoiding the camera's area.

They were well-informed that the 'night' Raymond always check on the security camera. That is why his father tormenting them at the field where there's no security camera was installed there. She sighs.

When she was thinking about James, she suddenly remembers what he said to her yesterday. It struck her head. She wants to return to her family's house but she needs to be guarded and she doesn't like the idea.

In the end, she was just hoping that 'night' Raymond will wake up so that she can tell him about what happened to them while he was in 'sleeping' mode.

At night,

Finally, Ray wakes up from the long sleep and scrunch his eyebrow to see around him. He clearly on the hospital bed and from the surrounding, he is now back at his mansion.

"Luna? Baby?" He calls Luna's name and pulls out the IV line which attached to his arm.

"Master Raymond?" Dr. Fang suddenly opens the door and looks at the man with a question clearly on his face like asking which one of them has taken the body.

"It's Ray. Where's Luna?" He could guest Dr. Fang's expression and answer his question without being asked.

"Inside the main house, Master Ray." Dr. Fang smiles at him while answering his question. Luckily, it was Ray though.

"I see. Why am I here, by the way?" He starts to take off his hospital gown and change into the casual attire that has been prepare for him.

"You were passed out because of the heat. Hm, Master Ray, did you not remember any memory before you wake up? Last time you tell me, you somehow had a blurred memory each time you awake, didn't you?" Dr. Fang immediately takes his tab and start to write something on it.

"Oh yeah. I think it's starting two weeks ago. I kinda don't have any memories related to what other person does. Like I'm in a deep sleep. So, I usually will type in my diary that I save on my phone. And so the 'night' Raymond too. He kinda updating me about what he's doing when he wakes up. Normally related work or anything about his company."

"Um..do you mind to take another MRI scan, Master Raymond? I have to rescan back your brain." Dr. Fang put down the tab on the table and look at him with a bit worry.

"MRI scan? Rescan? What happens? Did something happen on my head?" He then touches his top of the head and winches a bit. It's kinda pain.

"Ouch. I think-" He looks at his hand and both of them a bit shock to see there's blood on his hand.

"Sit down first, Master Raymond. Let me check." Dr. Fang immediately brings his cart to the bed where Raymond already sits down and he put on the gloves and the mask.

"Dr, tell me honestly. What happens to my head? How did I have an injury like this?"

Dr. Fang sucks a big breath before he finally tells him the truth. "You had a fight with Lady Luna and she unintentionally hit your head with wooden accessories. The night Raymond makes us promise to not tell Lady Luna about your condition, that is why I need to rescan your head back. I'm afraid there's something that I miss out and-" He stopped his sentence when he saw the bump on his head kinda bigger than before. The stitches he has done before were now ripped the skin and make the skin bleed.

"And?" Raymond still waiting for his word. But upon seeing his shocked face, he frowned.

"Did it worsen?" He changes his question.

Nodded, Dr. Fang said. "I guess we have to rescan it now after I have done restitching it back."

Raymond sighs. "I guess I would have to agree with the 'night' Raymond. Don't tell Luna about this."
