Chapter 104 - Where Are You When He Needs You?

Raymond went down to find Luna, but she was nowhere near the family hall. He then saw aunt Lara playing with her grandchildren, thinking that maybe she knew where's Luna is.

"Excuse me, aunt Lara.. do you know where is Luna?" He asked the old woman which make her turn her body to him and smile.

"Yeah, she's in the bar room with your mom and your sister together with aunt Claudia and her daughter too," Lara replies to him before he nods his head and heading to the bar room.

When he wants to push the door, he heard a glass shattered on the floor along with a girl screaming. Worried, he immediately pushes the door only to find that Luna already passes out on the floor.

"What the hell is happening to her?!" He looked at everyone before his eyes landed on Ramona's legs which is bleed a bit.

"Mom..my legs.." Ramona starts crying while peeking at her legs. All of them ignoring Raymond's question who furiously looks at them as they busy tendering Ramona.

Raymond then went to Luna and try to wake her up. "Luna...Luna.." He tries to softly pat on her cheek but no avail. Her skin turn blue-tinge and her breathing are slower than the normal rate.

He starts to feel worried looking at her condition. "How much did she drink?" He asked again but still no one care about him and they more panic to see Ramona's legs.

Not able to contain his anger anymore, Raymond slam the counter bar with his hand.

Bam! "I asked, how much did she drink?!!" he roared a second time to which make all of them jolt their body.

"Three to five glass," Barbara replied to him with a sour face.

"Three to five?! What did she drink? It's not only wine, is it?!" Silent, no one answers him.

Bam! Another slam landed on the counter bar. "Martini and vodka," Claudia reply this time.

"If…something happens to her, I will not let one of you go just like that! You hear me?" Raymond then instructs one of the maids to call the in-house doctor to check on her.

She was clearly having alcohol poisoning. Not one hour yet he left her and now, she has turned like this? Really, they have gone too far.

After a commotion starts to spread, Victoria hurriedly went to the infirmary in the second building. She was shocked after receiving the news that Luna has alcohol poisoning while drinking with Barbara and Claudia. Not only that, but Ramona's legs also got hurt because of the shattered glass.

She went to Luna's room and saw that Raymond sits on the edge of her bed, holding her hand while she gets an IV drip. Her face looks so pale right now.

"How is she?" Victoria softly asked.

Turned his head around, Raymond looked at his grandmother. Disagree with her decision to make them stay here for a week. If possible, he doesn't even want her to stay here for more than a day at all.

"She's still breathing." He shortly replies.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know-"

"No, don't be sorry. It's not even your fault putting her into a dangerous trap for the next remains days. It's not your fault either if she dies tonight. Don't blame yourself, grandma. What you do is always right. Even if that means, she had to be a sacrificial goat. You're happy now, aren't you?" Raymond sarcastically said those words to her.

"I.."

"Please leave, grandma. My wife needs to sleep." He coldly said without giving a chance for Victoria to explain herself.

Sighing, she then leaves the room in the infirmary and returns back to the family hall. She was sad about how Raymond treats her just now but she also happy when she sees how Raymond cares about Luna.

It seems like he really did care about that girl. That's a relief. She thought that Luna will not be able to handle the three of them, but who would've have thought, that she is already conquering the three of them?

But it leaves her with a question as to why Sarah suddenly returns back and acts like she doesn't even know about Raymond's condition? That's odd.

In the deck on the second floor, a few minutes before the commotion on the first floor happens,

Liam walks toward the deck and spots Sarah from the back, sitting on the rattan chair. He somehow got a clue as to why Raymond look so furious just now. 'Did the two of them talk and fight?'

He doesn't want to pry into their problem. After all, Raymond a married man isn't he? He shouldn't be upsetting his wife just because his ex-girlfriend returns back to him.

From what he sees, the girl who sits beside Raymond in the dining table looks super beautiful than Sarah. She has a different aura surrounding her. Somehow, it's quite similar to Sabrina who always carefree with her world.

'Hmm, thinking about her makes me missing her.' Liam smiles before he took out his phone and sends a text to Sabrina.

When Sarah heard footsteps behind her, she turned her head around with her cheek wet with her tears.

"Oh..I'm sorry." She started.

Liam looks up at her and gives her his handkerchief. "Is everything okay between you and Ray?"

Sarah shakes her head. "No..we…we've just broken up." She cries a bit louder which Liam only stands there and watches her until she calms down.

"Well, personally...I think you two should end things properly. He's married now." Liam takes a seat beside her, looking at the night sky.

"I know..but, for 8 years…its so difficult," Sarah said and still crying. Hoping that the man would calm her down by hugging her or something. But no..he's not doing anything at all.

He just sat there and be a human stone.

"It's hard. But, maybe you both are not destined for each other. Come on, there are many bachelors out there who fit you. So don't be sad. You should feel happy for them though." He still texting with his girlfriend.

"But Liam..there's no one like him. He promises me he wants to marry me. And now, he…he married someone else. I'm hurt, I waited for him but he..doesn't even care about me."

"Hmm..where are you when he needs you?" He turns to look at the girl who still crying. Feeling wonder why she keeps blaming Raymond when she doesn't even there with his brother through his hardest time.

Sarah startled by the question. Stammering, she tries to give a good reason for him. "I-I was.."

"You know, you don't need to tell me the reason. I'm sure if you were there at that time, Raymond wouldn't end up with Luna and he will fulfill his promise to you without you even say it. But...God has a good plan for you both. May you find a good man for you. I truly hope that." Liam stands up and ready to leave the deck. It seems like he needs to return back to his girlfriend now. He sickly missing her.
