Chapter 54 - Why You Look So Pale?

"Oh, guys...I forgot to tell y'all about the next week planned." Luna averts her eyes at three of them after drinking a glass of juice that Alex made today.

"What about it?" Brian asked while putting the fork and sipping the orange juice.

"I.." Luna looks at the two of the child before she continues again. "I booked a trip for us, a week trip from Johor to Redang Island, Genting Highland and Kuala Lumpur before we fly back to Changi," Luna said in one breath.

Alex, Lily, and Brian froze for a moment. It was so sudden and they did not expect them to travel half of the neighboring country in one week. Brian had thought of bringing them to the Maldives island or Bora Bora island for this school break.

"Um..have you make a reservation yet?" Brian asked.

Luna nods her head slowly. "Ye-Yeah.." She didn't think that their expression will this blank after she told them about the trip. Is it too hastily?

"B-but, if you guys don't want to go there, I can just-"

"No, no, don't." Brian stops her from says that she will cancel it. It's probably costing her sum of money to reserve the hotel and resort for a week's holiday.

Alex who just digest his mother's word suddenly got excited. Yup, a bit late for him to realize it was a long-awaited family vacation.

"Seriously, mama? A whole week vacation??" His eyes glistening with hope and full of excitement.

Luna turns her head to look at her son. Surprise to see his energetic expression. When he excited like this, he just looked like…that man.

Luna nods her head a little, "Yes, dear. But, it just in the neighboring country, are you fine with it?"

"What's with that statement? That's awesome, mama!" Alex jumps down from his seat and went up to Luna's lap. He hugs his mother tightly. "Thank you, mama."

Brian looks at Lily who still silent at her seat. "What about you dear, are you okay with this sudden vacation?" He asked.

Lily curled up her lips upward and look at her father. "Of course, daddy." 'though I feel something might disturb our holiday.'

Brian gives a gentle pat on his daughter's head. "Then, let us finish our dinner. Tomorrow, daddy will bring you guys to buy traveling necessity and we have to pack up for the trip the very next day."

"Yeay! Can't wait." Lily and Alex shout in unison. Their energetic voice lifts off Luna's worries. She thought that they don't want to go, but maybe she was wrong.

Brian looks at them and picks up back his fork. 'Maybe next time.'

….

The first day of vacation.

"Uh, Brian..we don't have to drive our car. Sam said that he already prepare a car to go there." Luna said when Brian took out his car key from his jeans pocket.

"Oh, really?" He then took out his phone. "I call driver now. Ask Sam the meeting's point location."

Luna does as Brian said. She texts him, asking about the meeting point and within a minutes, Sam replied to her text.

"Hey kids, have you guys bring your coat?" Brian checks on them for the last time before the driver comes.

"Yes, daddy." both of them lift up the coat hanging on their small arm frame.

Luna chuckles seeing how obedient the kids are when Brian's at home. Normally, they are a bit unruliness when they stayed with her but they totally different when their daddy's at home.

Maybe a father's aura is much more prominent than the mother's aura. Or it just that Luna is too soft with the kids.

"Alright. The car's here. Let's go kids." Brian holds both of their little hand to the car and opens the door before Luna help him to put them into the car seat.

The driver takes all the luggage into the trunk and opens the passenger door for Brian. Within less than ten minutes, the car drove out of the neighborhood and went to the Woodlands Custom Checkpoint.

Johor Premium Outlet mall.

Sam decides to meet them there. He's a bit nervous to meet with Luna and her family.

He thought it will be just Luna and her children, but who thought that this man, right beside him, insisting him to want to go with them too. He arranges everything for his own accommodation, but he wants to share the transportation with them.

This is such a troublesome for him, but he can't say no either. Not after knowing this man's identity. He could only be hoping that Luna will forgive him later.

"Why you look so pale?" Raymond asked like nothing's bothering him at all.

"Why, you asked? That's because of you of course. I'll tell you, Luna is not interested in you." Sam blurted out, making the man standing beside him glared a dagger to him.

"Whether she's interested in me or not, it's not your damn business, am I right?"

Sam gulped. "Y-Yeah.." He then keeps glancing on his watch while waiting for Luna to arrive.

Twenty minutes passed by and one car arrives and parks right at the beside of Sam's MPV.

A young man around the early twenties comes out from the driver seat. He smiles looking at Sam who's waiting at the side along with a man in his casual clothes. But, his aura seems like he's not someone below average people. Or rather, someone that you don't want to have a problem with.

"Yo, Bro." Jamal greets his brother-in-law and opens the car trunk.

"Hey, Jay.." Sam helps him out by taking out his luggage and then introduce him to the man who looks a bit impatient since they arrive.

"This is Mister Ray." Sam introduces Raymond to his brother-in-law, "And this is Jamal, but call him Jay. He's your driver and tour guide for a whole week."

Raymond extended his hand. "Nice to meet you."

Jay took his hand, "Me too."

Not long after, a black luxurious car arrived and park right beside the Harrier, Jay drove before.

"Good! Finally, they arrive." Sam feels relief, he knew who's the one inside the luxurious car.
