Chapter 10 - Most Beautiful Person I’ve Met

Early in July.

Luna wore a royal blue wedding dress embedded with the gold embroidery and design it with the Quinceanera style. Her white-snow skin well-matched the dress color and she look just like a royal princess from a fairy tales kingdom.

Her hair bun and makeup are done by the famous makeup artist and he keeps compliments her for her natural beauty. She doesn't need much touch up for her face as she already beautiful and every angle of her body is perfect as a top-class model.

"Wow..how can you be this beautiful and hiding in this kind of place?" Kent, the makeup artist ask her while doing her eyeshadow.

"I'm not as beautiful you thought." She replies in a low tone. Since he enters the room until now, it has been two hours he keeps reciting the word 'beautiful' and it makes her feel tired to hear it.

"I tell you what, you're the first person I met that can par with the Sarah Rochester. What makes you more special is..you..are..way…to down to earth than her. So, basically, you are the most beautiful person I've met so far. Ooohh..I'm so lucky that I can assist you today." He leisurely said that and put the makeup brush on the makeup case.

Open her eyes, she smiles at the person. "Thank you, Mr. Bernard. I'm so grateful for your hard work today."

She looking at herself at the standing mirror and as just he said, she really does look beautiful. Even she can't imagine that she would look like this.

"Aww..I'm flattered." He put back all his brush inside the makeup case and start to clean up the marble table.

"Is the bride's ready? Its almost time."One of the men in a black suit opened the door and once Kent nods his head, her father enters the room.

"Well, this is it. I wish you a happy life. Nice to meet and assist the Young Madam Wayne. Congratulations, dear." Kent gives her a quick hug before he struts out of the room leaving her with her father.

"Are you ready, my dear?" Adam asks in a low voice. He feels a bit upset to see her daughter which is so young and yet she has to marry someone she doesn't even know or love.

Caress her father's cheek, she smiles with gleaming eyes. "I'm ready, dad. Please, don't be sad."

"I…"

"You look less handsome with that face, send your daughter away with your bright smile, dad. I want you to be happy. I can finally have a happy life with a rich guy. Every girl's dream." She chuckles on her own jokes.

"Yeah. You're the lucky one. Just remember that we are always there if you ever need us." Adam smile to her daughter, trying to hide the painful feeling in his heart.

As the music fills the hall, Luna walks down the aisle with her father besides, linking arm with her.

She scanned the room which only fills with the family member. Only three rows at both sides of the bench are full with the people, she knew, this is not like what she imagined it would be at all.

Even though her wedding gown was so beautiful and her make up was superb too, there no meaning behind it. No one cares. She finally stands on the stage where she was facing the guy that should be her husband.

She didn't dare to look up at the man and she keeps her eyes down and only stares at his exclusive tailored suit. His body is not in that great shape. He's quite slim and tall. However, she could notice that he somehow seems a bit antsy.

When the priest asks him, he had to follow someone who whispers the 'I do' part in his ear. 'What the heck?' Luna starts to feel uneasy.

When the times for exchanging ring, she could feel how trembling his hand to put on the ring to her ring finger. His skin was so cold and pale. 'Does this guy sick?'

She still did not look at the man, until the moment when the priest says they can kiss each other. She lifts her head and looks at her husband.

Scrunching her eyebrow, she almost gasping out loud, but she holds it and tries to act calm. 'This guy! This is the one who screams like hell at the party that night! Am I dreaming?'

"K-k-kiss?" Raymond looks at the priest like he wants to cry.

As the priest nod, he then looks at the butler who standing beside him. Asking for his sympathy, but the butler shakes his head and slowly whisper to him again.

"You can just kiss her on the cheek if you don't want to. Just a peck will do."

Of course, Luna heard it, but she also doesn't want to kiss a stranger that she doesn't even know. 'Oh well, kiss on the cheek sounds good too.'

The moment after he kisses her on the cheek, he immediately took out his handkerchief and wipe his lips with the handkerchief like it was so dirty.

The butler a bit surprise and helps him to take back the handkerchief from his hand. At the moment, she could hear a few of them laughing at the scene like it was a comedy show. However, she still composes and smiles as nothing funny happens. She has to keep her dignity for her family, at least.

The priest who saw this could only gulp a bit. He feels sorry for the bride. But looking at the groom, he could guess that he might not be the same as other groom or any sensible man in this hall.

The wedding ceremonies continue smoothly and once it's over, most of the Wayne family return back to their home in the city, leaving the newlyweds on the mansion at the top of the hills in the small town.

"I'm sorry I can't stay any longer. I promise I will come to check on you both once I have free time." Victoria pat on Luna's back. She really wants to spend time with her granddaughter-in-law, but because of work, she had to head back to the city.

"It's okay, grandma." She smiles at the old lady.

Both of her parents-in-law already return once the banquet started. While her husband already went to hide inside the bedroom since after the matrimony.

Maybe he doesn't feel well. And she doesn't even care at all whether he is here or not. After all the guest went home, she finally could breathe and she went to find the butler who known as Mr. Carson.

He is the head of the servant in this house, he also in charge of everything about her husband as what her grandmother, Victoria, told her. If she needs anything, she could just ask Mr. Carson.

"Um, Mr. Carson?" She calls out his name while try looking for him at the kitchen. She still remembers the house layout from the living hall, dining hall, and the kitchen.

"Yes, Mrs. Wayne." the old man early his thirties standing next to her, he lowered his head as he speaks to her.

"Ah, sorry for calling you out. But, where do I sleep tonight?" She asks him bluntly. Actually she already forgot some of the rules in the document that she sign before.

Frowned a bit, he still answers her question. "Master Raymond's bedroom."
