Not aware of the fact that Xuan Hao had arrived a few hundred meters above him and was currently watching his every move, the old man crotched down at the edge of the abyss leading deep underground where the seal was located.

"This should be the place... I hope the seal is still in place..." Muttering this to himself as a hint of hesitation flashed through his eyes, the old man slowly took a step forward before descending into the dark abyss. The fear on his face made it rather obvious that he had some idea about the terrifying existence sealed below.

Whoosh~

Not one to fall behind, Xuan Hao also descended into the abyss following after the old man. Now feeling more curious than ever about the identity of the old man, as he very clearly seemed to already know about the existence of the seal below the Raging Flame Sect.

Not a second later, Xuan Hao and the old man found themselves floating above the dark miasma that the unknown being was hidden inside of. At a glance, it was clear that the being had not yet managed to break free from the seal and was still stuck.

However, after Xuan Hao placed his attention on the hidden divine formation symbols covering every inch of the underground space, it became clear that the seal had been significantly weakened compared to the last time he had been there. Not only that, but a section of the divine formation symbols seemed to have been fully destroyed. Allowing part of the miasma from below to surge up and cover a large part of the underground space that had been accessible in the past next to the platform suspended above the dark miasma.

"Looks like it's still intact..." Breathing out a sigh of relief after seeing that the dark miasma was still restrained to some extent, the old man didn't notice the part of the seal that had already been broken as he directly flew over and landed on the stone platform suspended above the dark miasma. Not wasting a single second, as he took out several obscure artifacts that he began to meticulously set up along the still intact parts of the stone platform.

Observing this situation, Xuan Hao could not help feeling even more curious about the identity of the old man. After all, not only did he seem familiar with the seal located below the Raging Flame Sect, but he now also seemed to be preparing to do something with the stone platform suspended above the dark miasma.

Even though he had no idea what the old man was planning to do, from what he had been saying to himself so far, Xuan Hao felt certain that he shouldn't be trying to release the seal. On the other hand, he felt like it might be possible that the old man was trying to use the strange and obscure artifacts that he had brought along with him to strengthen the seal, something Xuan Hao would be more than happy to see happen considering the fact that the Star Shattering Sect would be the first to suffer in case the being sealed below managed to break the seal and escape.

Shortly after the old man finished setting up all the strange artifacts around the stone platform, a faint light emerged from inside the already broken stone platform before it expanded and covered the places where parts of the platform had been broken off. Forming a whole platform that allowed the old man to walk out on the strangely solid light and place another few strange artifacts on top of it.

In the end, Xuan Hao was shocked to discover that the old man seemed to have established some kind of connection to the divine formation symbols gathered around the ceiling of the underground space after the last of the artifacts had been placed on the solid light that made up the missing parts of the stone platform.

"Hm? Part of the seal actually broke!?"

It was also at the moment that this connection was established that the old man noticed that part of the divine formation symbols had been broken.

Not to mention the Earth Immortal Realm, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the being sealed below the Raging Flame Sect had surpassed the Celestial Immortal Realm. After all, the thing sealed in front of him was not the entire body of that being, but instead just a fragment...

Not a second later the artifacts all turned into a form of liquid energy that seeped into the stone platform, causing it to expand and cover the entire underground space where the dark miasma was located. Forcing Xuan Hao to momentarily escape up the entrance to avoid being hit by the expanding stone platform.

Finished expanding, the stone platform descended towards the dark miasma where the terrifying being was sealed-

ROOOAR-!

Smashing directly into it with a terrifying power that Xuan Hao could tell far surpassed the Earth Immortal Realm. Forcing the being back down into the abyss below.

"Hmph, should have a few minutes to work in peace now."

Seeing that the being in the dark miasma was forced back, the old man wasted no time as he returned to what he was doing before, this time around without the being below trying to break the seal.

"..."

Having watched all of this from the side, Xuan Hao could not help unconsciously swallowing as he had a feeling that it was best not to underestimate the old man. Even though he was only at the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm, it seemed like he had some terrifying things up his sleeve...
