They straight up walked into the nearby prison campus. the people guarding here took one look at Fan Xui and they ran away terrified.
Yue predicted that these people have been hiding in this prison for a very long time. But how did they escape the zombie hoarding their walls? The outside of the prison walls was surprisingly clean.
It was like the zombies did not wish to come close to the prison campus.
'What do they have that is pushing the zombies away….' Yue pushed into the prison gates and got in their campus. The world place was kept quite clean. the people seemed to fear looking their way.
Yue looked around. There were so many kids with tonsured hair and with a lot of needle marks. Not many adults were present it was quite obvious that this place was a research breeding ground.
It infuriated him.
'Why did Murong even allow this? Fuck, he must be a fucking loser who hurts people. why did I think better of him even for a second? Why is he here anyway? He must have died in s city, it would have been better.' He gritted his teeth.
A small bee buzzed close to his face.
"Zi Chen, do you know where that guy who invited us is? That uncle. Do you remember him?' the bee buzzed twice. "Good can you lead us to him?"
The bed started to fly in a certain direction.
They walked through the scared crowd into the interior of the prison. The two prison complexes had the same layout. They soon reached the isolation cell which were guarded by a security door.
The bee stopped there buzzing loudly
"Move back a little, dear." The bee moved away. Yue did not have the patience to silently open the door. He kicked them down and walked in.
There were twenty or so isolation chambers that were closed by a thick iron door. He looked into the small opening into each and every one of them.
The bee did not seem to know where he actually was.
in the last chamber, he saw two figures in the darkroom.
"They are here," Yue coldly whispered and kicked open the door
Fan Xui walked in towards the figures and so did the bee.
"p-please don't do anything to my grandson. he didn't mean it. he will do anything. Please don't hurt us.. please…" an elderly woman sobbed, bowing down to the ground/
She was the most prestigious lady of the Murong family. The last time he saw her, She was dressed in a beautiful in dress adorned with jewels and accessories but without any of them, dressed in prison clothes she just looked like a tired old lady.
She had a few scabs on her face indicating that she has been hurt badly.
As for Murong he was in a bad situation his whole body was bleeding. Yue did not know what they had done to him but he did not get any close.
Fan Xui on the other and flipped Murong shao over to his back and took a good look at his injury. "he is still breathing. What do you suggest we do?"
Yue coldly glanced at the two.
The grandma seemed to not remember him. She kept begging for mercy and trembling.
suddenly she dazedly looked around. "Where am I?" her eyes focused on Shao again "my grandson! ohhh what have you done to him! he is the only child I have…. gods have mercy on us." she cried.
after a minute or so she repeated the same thing again and again
It was like that o a person with dementia.
Back then, Murong Shao had mentioned that his grandma was suffering from memory issues. But he didn't realize it was this bad.
Yue stepped up to her. He did not know what to do about them. He could leave… but… he knew in his heart that if he left here like this his heart would forever be weighed by that guilt.
He pulled the lady up.
She started to struggle. "no, no! no!!! please! Please don't hurt me! Pleaseee!!!" she cried hugging herself.
"I won't hurt you." Yue whispered pulling her into a huge. he did not know why he did that. But he wanted to
He just wanted to hug her.
The struggling old lady settled down. She started to sob silently nuzzling her head on his shoulders.
They say when a person becomes old, they turn into a young child, it was at that moment he truly understood that. The old lady had already lost most of her memories and her sanity. Why would he hurt her even more?
Even though she had been a silent partner in her husband's crime, he believed that she too had internal guilt. Or else her situation would not have become this bad.
"Take him with us. Trexa can deal with him. As for the others… you and tian can make a decision. Personally, I don't want them with us. They have been through too much and I believe their personality would already have become skewed. It's a security risk." He gently lifted the old lady in his arms and walked out.
Fan xi followed behind him with a half-dead Murong Shao.
As soon as they walked into the common area everyone saw that they had Murong Shao with him and started to crowd around them.
Yue did not expect this at all.
They all worriedly glanced at shao.
"What do you guys want?" Yue glared at them.
One brave child who looked about seven or so came up to him with a glare. "don't hurt him! Don't hurt our brother!" he reached out to punch him.
But Zi Chen's bee got ahead of him. He swiftly stung the child's hand.
The little boy backed away, but the crowd did not disperse.
Yue coldly glanced at them. 'Looks like Shao was well-liked?'
"Was he kind to you? Do you guys want him to live?" he asked the two questions that has been bugging him for so long.
The children all nodded vigorously. "He saved us from that plane crash. he was the reason we are alive… please.. please don't hurt him." One girl started to cry softly.
Yue nodded to himself. "We are going to help him. Your brother is dying. He needs to be treated. If you guys don't move out of the way, he might die right here."
the children scurried out of the path.
Fan Xui and Yue brought them back to their compound to a security room for Trexa to deal with Murong Shao's wounds. as for his old grandmother, he took her to his mother.
