Chapter 99 I Will Give You An Explanation

Name:Chaplain! Author:Firework
Emilia was muttering to herself as she finally felt that her future was filled with hope.

The only reason why Emilia had such a tough time growing up was because she didn't have a father.

However, after these 2 days, she could see that this man wasn't as horrible as she thought he was.

Of course, this was only her initial impression. If he dared to hurt her again, she would never forgive him ever again!

In order to give Emilia a complete home, she would have to try and accept Oliver Walker once again. Even if this might just be an extravagant dream that might hurt her once again...

"I would never hurt the both of you ever again!"

After hearing how his wife was muttering to himself, Oliver Walker was feeling emotional. What did he do to deserve such a perfect wife?

He wasn't going to look for any excuses or blame anyone for it. His family was only in such huge trouble because of him. Although there were also a lot of other factors that could have caused it, it wasn't worth mentioning.

Emilia was stunned when she realized that the man was standing by the door. He could hear everything that she had just said.

As she turned around, she frowned.

"You should know that I am only accepting you now because I want Olivia to have a complete family!"

"If there is ever a day where I see that you're being irresponsible, I will rather Olivia had no father!"

She was being serious about it!

In fact, after being alone all these years, there were times when she really needed another person to depend on, but she wouldn't force it to happen.

She was only making this decision for Olivia!

"That day will never happen!"

Oliver Walker nodded and said, "I will let you slowly accept me….and it will not be because of Olivia!

"Just like we used to be. No matter what happens, you will always trust me!

"It will also be the same in the future!"

His perfect wife was someone whom he wanted to treasure forever.

However, he also knew that there were things that he could never keep.

Those 8 years that went missing were definitely something that he could never compensate for.

Hearing the firm and sincere answer from Oliver, Emilia felt her heart racing. She was the only one who knew if she still loved this man.

She quickly calmed down as she said, "Then….tell me what happened for the past 8 years."

She was the one who personally sent this man onto the train.

In fact, from the moment he entered the no man's land, the connection between them had been broken.

Well, she wouldn't have known that there was someone else who was pretending to be her and had been using Oliver Walker's fortune and love.

Therefore, in order to accept him, she had to start by knowing the man's past.

"In regards to why you haven't been able to contact me, I will give you a perfect explanation."

Oliver Walker had a serious look on his face. That person had the guts to send the letters to the army base, so he would never let the person get away with it!

He would arrest whoever it was and then tell his wife what the truth was all these years.

This person had the guts to mess with his family, and they had to be punished!

Emilia frowned. She didn't say another word, but she really needed an explanation.

Oliver Walker then started talking about it, "All these years, I have been at Indiana. Since the battle is about to end and I have been injured recently, I finally got to return to Colorado!"

Emilia's heart ached. "You…..you got injured? Where?"

This reaction of hers clearly showed that she still cared. It was a concern from the bottom of her heart.

Oliver Walker smiled as he said, "It's nothing!"

He felt touched!

Even if he had left his home for 8 years, his wife still cared for him in the same way as before.

Emilia let out a breath of relief as she said, "Then…..what's the situation with Hendric Smith?"

This godly doctor was calling her his master's wife, and he even kneeled on the ground.

It was hard to imagine who Oliver Walker might be.

If he was really a doctor, why was he able to have such a powerful apprentice, but he couldn't save his own daughter?

This was indeed a very confusing scenario.

At least...
