Chapter 62 - 62. Special Day.

These two chose to ride exactly that, well, they had money and mind you...money can make ghosts slave away so, they just went on to sit on this legendary ride, of course, they sat on the VIP unicorn which had its hairs in a braid with crystal lights illuminating it and a crown on its head.

Anyway, the only reason they chose to ride it though they had great repulsion to it was only to get a commemorative picture to show their grandparents.....it's nothing more nothing less.

As if in sync, both went to sit on the unicorn, they preferred to take control, it was ingrained in them....plus the carriage was too embarrassing for our little empress to ride, right?

With stone-cold faces that made the onlookers think that they owed the pair tonnes of chocolate and not money, mind you.

After all, they were still kids and it was more because of their soft features which made their cold expression seem like a child throwing a tantrum, so they went on the ride while creating an invisible boundary surrounding them.

Three minutes into the ride, Meilin on the front and Xuan at back, had completed one full round around the ride and at least, the cold air around them had dissipated into nothingness, they had low expectations but because of the soft music and the person they were with, the experience was a lot better, in contrast to those childish slides throughout the theme park, and the slower-than-a-snail ride around the museum-like-attraction which had a fairy-tale theme, depicting different stories like Cinderella, snow-white and the rest, they were plain boring.

After they took a commemorative picture for their Uncle and grandparents to see, their expression was a lot better, their faces looked better than any of their previous exits from a ride, well they had photogenic faces so, it was all over in a second and they left for the final ride of the day, a miniature Ferris-wheel for kids their age.

On a side note, the bodyguards had been recording their every move from all possible angles as asked by Feng Jiajie and the grandparent couple, if they had known about it...they would just scoff it off for now but would take certain revenge against them.

Anyway, finally!!

Finally, there was something that was actually for kids, a mini version of the giant wheel.

At the very end, they finally, for the very last time had their hopes up.

The idea of going to a theme park was Xuan's idea and he had discussed it with their family and hence, the idea of gifting some tickets.

He had done a great deal of research when deciding on this place, he wanted it to be special and even though everything didn't turn out as planned because of their loss of interest in it too easily, it was still fun to spend their time like this, goofing around even though it was kind of a waste of time....the only reason they both still chose to waste their own time here was because they were here together and it was better to experience these things once as a child so that there will be no regrets left in the future..no matter how childish the journey might have been and of course, that won't stop him from giving their official site and the sites he did his research from, a bad review!!

He actually had read a book on this too.

Many things didn't go as the book said and he had repeatedly decided to put a scam complaint on it but he still wanted to give it one last chance at the very end.

It said that riding a Ferris wheel was a must...

It had an interesting fact in it too...it said while riding the wheel, if you kiss the person you love when you reach the top, you will be bound with the other, forever!

Throughout the ascend, she held his hand while looking outside.

It was already close to dusk, the sun was setting at the far horizon casting off a soft red in the sky, the lights nearby was lit up at the same time and it really had quite a dreamy atmosphere around, this bird-eye view felt really good.

With his hands, which passed off his warmth, in her grasp, the moment was very fascinating to her, she didn't think it was a waste, for this single moment she felt it was all worth it.

Just a second before they reached the top, she felt her hand being squeezed lightly.

She thought he needed something and turned slightly so as to look at him.

Just then they were at the top.

She turned only to feel a feather-like softness on her cheeks, it seems, he had given a kiss to her.

The first kindergarten kiss the pair shared, it came as a huge shock for our xiao Meilin.

She didn't know why but her heartbeat sped up and she felt her cheeks turn warm.

She could still feel the warmth from their linked hands but it was somehow totally different from before, it was to the point of scalding but she, just like a moth who flew towards the flame knowing that it might cause their end, wanted more of it and liked it.

Her brain also felt fuzzy, her face warm, it was a kind of feeling logic couldn't explain.

She didn't know what it was but still, she liked the feeling a lot but was also a bit scared of knowing what it really was?

It was like she was floating in the sea of clouds....she wanted to cherish the feeling because it was precious but...if she looked down, the end was somewhat blurry.

Just then, "Happy Birthday, Linlin. Let's celebrate this day every year forever..hmm?", she heard him speak.

His voice somehow seemed very deep for his age, had a very sensual ring to it and made her ears turn a deep red.

Meilin finally came back to earth.

She felt like crying.

This feeling, the time she spent with him felt so precious, she just wanted the time to stop like this.....at the top of the ride, it was like only they existed in this world, devoid of mankind's noise and corrupt feelings, it was a place of their own...a serene beautiful world, their solace, their paradise.

It was the first time since birth, she wasn't alone in her special day.

No matter how much of a strong facade she put or who emotionless she became, it still felt warm to celebrate her special day with her special person.

She really wanted to cry ma.

But....Xuanxuan will get worried, there was no need to cry...it was a blissful moment, she should smile and laugh.

At this point of time, she hadn't turned into someone who had a hard time showing her emotions on her face, she was really happy so she gave him her brightest of the smile.

'It was the best birthday ever', she thought as she replied,"hm...let's do that!! xiexie!!"

A/N:

As sad as it gets, this pitiful author never went to an amusement park as a child, haven't been there till date to be exact.

So, everything written here might seem awkward as the general idea that I got from is from reading mangas.

My dear readers, do you have any experience?

Happy Reading.
