CH 90.2

Downstairs in the villa, Zhang Chi was fidgeting on the sofa.

There was the sound of someone going down the stairs. When he turned around, he saw the man he least wanted to face now. Fu Jinxiao took off his windbreaker jacket and only wore a white suit with a vest. His pace was unhurried, and there was even a sense of calmness all over his body. But if anything, it made him even more nervous. 

Zhang Chi stood up, asking, “Teacher Fu, how is Suisui?”

Fu Jinxiao didn’t speak.

He walked to the dining table slowly, stopped in front of the red wine glass, and then walked to the place where Shen Xingsui was eating. He picked up the red wine glass he drank from, and put it under his nose. This action was not long, but it seemed to stretch for eternity in Zhang Chi’s eyes.

Fu Jinxiao put the cup back on the table, then raised his eyelids and glanced at Zhang Chi.

In Zhang Chi’s nervous and frightened eyes, his question was answered. He sneered, and said, “You are so courageous.” 

It was like a sentence issued by Lord Yan himself. When these words fell, all of his strength seemed to be sapped away. In an instant, Zhang Chi realized that he might be finished. 

Fu Jinxiao turned around and walked towards the kitchen.

In the kitchen, there was still an unopened bottle of red wine. He walked there and stood there for a while, and then walked towards the trash can next to it. Zhang Chi rushed in and grabbed his arm, “Mr. Fu, Teacher Fu, listen to my explanation first…” 

Due to the inertia of running, his arm touched the red wine bottle next to him. The bottle wobbled for a while, then suddenly slid down and hit the marble floor, red wine spilled all over it, staining the pristine-white marble with a tinge of dark red. 

The sound of glass breaking makes his heart tremble.

Zhang Chi quickly said, “I really didn’t give it to him. If there’s any, it is a leftover from a spill, I swear! It’s probably only enough to make him sleepy. I didn’t want to do anything to Suisui!” 

—Fortunately, he followed his conscience. He had never been so grateful for his choice at that moment in his life. Otherwise he would probably have to die to atone his sin.

Fu Jinxiao stood condescendingly on the spot, looked at Zhang Chi who was explaining in a panic, as if he was watching some clown. He answered with a chilling voice, “Zhang Chi, I’ve actually heard of you.” 

Zhang Chi was taken aback.

“You’re Hu Kaiyue’s nephew, and the second son of the Zhang Group,” Fu Jinxiao’s voice seemed a little cold in the rainy night, and a very shallow smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, but there was no trace of genuineness behind it, “I saw you a year ago. I have met Mr. Zhang and your mother. Your family is in the home furnishing business and has some status in the market. I know that it is not easy for Mr. Zhang to start from scratch. Hasn’t his business not been easy these years? So my Fu Conglomerate has been helping your family for your offline business, right?” 

Zhang Chi’s blood seems to be slowly cooling down. Compared to the Fu family’s worth, his family’s business was only a drop in the bucket. 

Fu Jinxiao lowered his head slightly and looked at him, “But I think that… there’s a lot of other home furnishing companies out there. Am I right?” 

Zhang Chi paled. 

A large part of his family’s income came from their cooperation with the Fu family.

If they were suppressed, or the cooperation was terminated, then their family was really likely to face bankruptcy. Or worse, his family might be ruined! 

Cold sweat broke out on Zhang Chi’s back. He was a child who had never experienced this kind of horror. His expression was honest, and he directly begged, “Mr. Fu, Mr. Fu, I know I’m wrong. Please let my family go.” 

Fu Jinxiao’s eyes gradually turned cold, “Who taught you to do this?”

Zhang Chi stopped mid-speech. He looked up at Fu Jinxiao in disbelief.

Fu Jinxiao squinted his eyes.

Zhang Chi stepped back half a step inaudibly, and stammered, “No, no one.”

Fu Jinxiao sneered, and he walked outside without saying a word. He had silently given an ultimatum to Zhang Chi, and after turning around, there was no room for turning things around.

Zhang Chi was really scared, he knelt down as he felt his knees give out. He crawled and grabbed Fu Jinxiao’s leg, “Fu-ge, Teacher Fu, I really didn’t do it on purpose! It has nothing to do with my family, it’s all Anran, it’s all Anran who told me!”

Fu Jinxiao paused.

Zhang Chi was a cowardly and selfish person. It’s easy to spill Anran’s involvement the moment his wellbeing was being threatened.  “It’s Anran, I have already said that I don’t want it, but Anran bewitched me. He said that as long as the raw rice is cooked, Suisui will agree to be with me. H-he said that… it’s because I wasn’t brave enough that I missed my chance to be with him…” 

In the kitchen, Zhang Chi confessed everything.

Fu Jinxiao’s breath became colder and faster. He looked like he was on the verge of exploding. After listening to Zhang Chi’s words, he walked out of the kitchen and sat down outside. When Zhang Chi came out in fear, he saw the actor holding a cigarette between his fingertips. He seemed to be thinking about something as he forced himself to calm down. 

Just when Zhang Chi thought that Fu Jinxiao would get angry or go directly to Jian’s family to settle accounts, he beckoned to Zhang Chi, “Come here.”

Zhang Chi walked over in small steps, and said cautiously, “Teacher Fu?”

Fu Jinxiao’s voice ran unusually clear in this silent night. With an uncompromising tone, he asked, “You mean, Anran took the initiative to ask you to cooperate, right?”

Zhang Chi nodded.

“Very good…” The smoke from Fu Jinxiao’s cigarette slowly wafted up. He sat gracefully with a dangerous smile on his face, “In a few days, if he comes to you again, just say Suisui has promised to be with you, and you have succeeded.”

Zhang Chi was taken aback, “What do you mean?”

Fu Jinxiao raised his eyebrows, “I think you understand me.” 

At this moment, Zhang Chi finally understood the horror and insidiousness of Fu Jinxiao. Not because of his monstrous wealth, but because of his high IQ and unscrupulous means. 

Fu Jinxiao said in an unhurried manner, “No matter what he says in the future, you just have to do as I tell you.”

Zhang Chi quickly responded with a nod.

Fu Jinxiao took a deep look at him, “If there is anything wrong…”

The temperature in the room seemed to drop by two degrees.

The man sitting on the sofa looked at Zhang Chi, his eyes gradually stained with a cold and dangerous smile. His tone was calm, but Zhang Chi felt like he was being cut in half. 

“I don’t mind sending you two to the grave together.” 

Shen Xingsui woke up the next day.

After waking up, he found someone beside him and almost rolled off the bed in surprise. Fortunately, Fu Jinxiao pulled him back with quick eyesight and quick hands, thus avoiding the crisis of his face falling to the ground early in the morning.

Shen Xingsui breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the identity of his bed partner. “Teacher Fu.” 

Fu Jinxiao also slept here. This was the second time Shen Xingsui saw him when he just woke up. With a handsome and lazy face, his tall body took up half of the bed. Being this close, Shen Xingsui could smell his pleasant odor that calmed him. 

The actor was still half-asleep. Sensing a movement, he responded with a low-pitch hum, then pulled Shen Xingsui back into his arms.

As Shen Xingsui was stunned in his boyfriend’s embrace, he finally stammered, “You, why are you in my bed?” 

“Why?” Fu Jinxiao responded in a low voice, “Do you want someone else in your bed instead?” 

Shen Xingsui almost bit his tongue, “That’s not what I mean. But last night… did I fall asleep last night? I don’t have the slightest impression of you. Why are you here? What happened to us?”

It’s a pity that the older man didn’t seem to feel his anxiety at all.

Fu Jinxiao’s voice was slow and groggy. He was clearly still sleepy and yet, already full of nonsense: “What should have happened… has happened.”

“?”

“!!!” 

Shen Xingsui on the bed froze, and his brain crashed. He even lifted the quilt secretly to take a look, and found that the clothes he was wearing were neat and tidy, and it didn’t look like it happened at all.

Shen Xingsui murmured, “Really?”

Fu Jinxiao finally raised his gaze to look at him, but found that the youth beside him seemed a little stupid, so he said slowly, “Are you afraid?” 

Shen Xingsui returned to his senses. He was a little apprehensive and nervous, his eyes subconsciously became a little watery. Cautiously, he replied, “Is it true, we really… what happened? Why don’t I feel anything…” 

Fu Jinxiao originally just wanted to tease him, and maybe frighten him a bit. He didn’t expect that Shen Xingsui would take him seriously. He immediately let out a muffled laugh, “Baby, you look down on me too much.” 

‘If it’s true that we had sex, do you think you can be so lively this morning?’ 

Shen Xingsui was stunned, and reacted slowly. His face flushed immediately. Knowing that he had been lied to, he glared at Fu Jinxiao with some embarrassment. His delicate face was flushed, so he didn’t look scary at all – instead he looked rather cute and beautiful. 

Fu Jinxiao raised his eyebrows, “You seem to be sorry to know it’s fake?”

Shen Xingsui argued softly, “Don’t put words into my mouth. I didn’t feel sorry.”

After replying, he was suppressed by a force, pushing him down into the bed once again. When he came to his senses, he felt a heavy force and oppressive feeling on his body.

Fu Jinxiao’s lips pressed against his. It was a long, nostalgic kiss full of longing and demands. It changed from gentle and lingering at the beginning; to intense and full of passion. 

When Fu Jinxiao let go, Shen Xingsui’s flush became even brighter. He panted lightly, his gaze was unfocused, and his lips were wet. Right next to his ear, Fu Jinxiao lowered his head and said in a low voice, “I don’t mind if it becomes real.”
