As the sky was getting dark, everyone went out to visit the center of the village. Shen Xingsui went out wearing thick clothes and saw Fu Jinxiao holding an umbrella at the door. That man was tall and handsome, standing in the hazy smoke, refracting the warm yellow lights of the streetlights. He looked like came out of a watercolor masterpiece.

Shen Xingsui was awed.

Fu Jinxiao took the initiative to take a few steps in his direction, and said in a low voice, “It’s raining, why don’t you stay indoors? I’ll go and have a look, and I’ll tell you when I come back.”

Shen Xingsui shook his head. “Let’s go together. It’s safe for people to go alone.”

Fu Jinxiao smiled and said, “There are so many cameramen following, what can be unsafe?”

Shen Xingsui was a little embarrassed, but Fu Jinxiao didn’t force his decision on him in the end. After waiting for a while, they set off when Shen Xingchen also arrived. The three of them walked slowly in the rainy night in this small village.

After about a few minutes’ of journey, they finally reached the center of the village.

What didn’t disappoint everyone was that there were two children holding umbrellas standing there. They seemed to be waiting for someone. After their group of three approached, the two children – dressed in traditional Miao robes – bowed and said, “We are here to help you.  The Lord would like to help you, the young heroes, to seal the treasure. It’s fate that we can meet today. Here is a map leading to the dense forest, please accept it.”

Shen Xingchen accepted it, and after looking at it for a long time, he hesitated and said, “I… can’t read this.”

Shen Xingsui also leaned over to read it.

The two looked at it for a long time, but unfortunately found that the patterns on it were so densely packed that they couldn’t really understand it at all.

Fu Jinxiao glanced at it faintly, and said, “Hold it upside down.”

“…Oh…”

Shen Xingchen quickly turned the map upside down again, and now he could finally understand it.

The two looked at the map intently. Fu Jinxiao took a step forward, saw the  child holding something in his hand, and asked, “What are you holding?”

The child with the braid replied, “This is a small water gun given by the fairy. There is divine water here, and if this divine water is poured on the villain, they will never be able to touch the treasure.”

Fu Jinxiao stretched out his hand. “Give it to me.”

The child hesitated, “But The Lord Fairy said, this bottle must be handed over to the Young Hero of Justice…”

Fu Jinxiao raised his eyebrows, and instead of grabbing it, he took out a candy from his pocket and handed it to her.

The little girl resolutely put the small water gun into his hand, “Here.”

The audience in the live broadcast room finally couldn’t help laughing when they saw this.

[No bottom line detected.]

[Who knows that the Fairy is such a capricious person?]

[The divine water can be given out so casually?]

[However, the righteous young man next to him is still studying the map…]

Fu Jinxiao came back with the things and said to the two of them, “It’s still raining here. You can go back and take a look there. As for entering the forest, let’s do it tomorrow. For now, hide the map well.”

Both of them agreed.

After returning, Shen Xingchen quickly went back to sleep.

Shen Xingsui and Fu Jinxiao walked to their room. As they walked, he couldn’t help asking, “Teacher Fu, what did that child give you?”

Fu Jinxiao looked at him sideways and said, “It’s nothing, just a prop.”

Shen Xingsui nodded thoughtfully.

Looking at his expression, Fu Jinxiao smiled. His voice was low, covered by the pitter-patter of the rain outside. “Why, do you suspect that I’m the villain?”

Shen Xingsui raised his head and said, “Well, are you?”

Actually, this question was really silly.

Because if he really was the villain, who would outright say it so honestly? So, there was no need to ask this question at all.

Fu Jinxiao just walked beside him quietly. After hearing this question, a smile seemed to slide across the man’s handsome face. He lowered his head, looked at him with dark and deep eyes and said, “Do you… hope that I’m the villain this time around?”

Shen Xingsui was taken aback for a moment. His reply was rather stiff. “Of course… not.”

Fu Jinxiao raised his eyebrows.

The silence seemed to stretch.

Then, Fu Jinxiao gave a teasing smile, “Well, then I am not.”

Shen Xingsui didn’t know why, but he had a very strange feeling. Whether he was truthful or not, as long as Fu Jinxiao said no to himself, he would definitely believe it. No matter what Fu Jinxiao’s identity was, Shen Xingsui wouldn’t be in danger.

The next day.

This was the third day of filming, and there were only two days until the end.

After gathering all the guests together, the director said, “Now we are going to announce the ratio of roles. Among the ten of you, the ratio of the hero:villain is 7:3.”

When this data was released, most of the guests were shocked.

Ning Ze said, “Didn’t you say that there’s only one villain yesterday…?”

“Wait, the villain can ‘infect’ the hero and turn them into villains right? Then, this person is too scary. In just one day, they directly infected two people?” Xu Qinke stood up and continued, “Then if we follow his speed, we will be wiped out by tomorrow at the latest.”

Tuya added, “Yesterday they fought alone, but today they already had two helpers. There is no need to wait until tomorrow, today they can end it.”

Nobody knew who joked before that if Fu Jinxiao got the undercover villain identity, he would win within two days. That joke was slowly becoming reality.

Shen Xingchen stood up and said, “Anyway, I’m not an undercover villain.”

Li Xu’an and the others also raised their hands, “We are also not. We were with Instructor Tuya all day yesterday. If you don’t believe it, we can testify to each other.”

Anran thought for a while, then smiled and said, “Actually… I think Xingchen is quite suspicious.”

Everyone’s eyes fell on Shen Xingchen.

“Well, do you remember that yesterday, Xingchen-ge would say that he wanted to become the villain this time. But today, he just keeps insisting that he’s not a villain. That’s quite a 180, don’t you think?” Anran raised his eyebrows, “Does anyone else think so?”

Shen Xingchen jumped up to defend himself, “While I did say that kind of words, that is just a wish of mine. And this time, I don’t get that role, so I just play my current role – as the hero – well. Is that so strange to you?”

Instructor Tuya said, “I got a clue card here. It says that the villain became famous at a young age.”

Once this clue card was revealed, everyone fell into silence in an instant.

This clue was huge. Many people have set their sights on Fu Jinxiao, because everyone knew that Actor Fu really did become famous at a young age. Now he’s only 30 years old with 3 best actor awards from prestigious shows and a grand slam in the music awards.

But Fu Jinxiao was not in a hurry. He only looked around the crowd, replying in an unhurried pace, “Tuya, you also became famous at the same age as me. And doesn’t everyone here count for that? You’re all still young.”

These words directly knocked back all doubts.

The youngest person here was in his early 20s and was considered famous. So indeed, everyone here did become famous at a young age.

So everyone withdrew their gazes and doubts again. Tuya looked at this group of children who were easily dismissed by Fu Jinxiao, and couldn’t help sighing, feeling that they were too naive.

Shen Xingsui raised up his hand weakly, “I think the issue we should pay most attention to is… just how does the villain infect people.”

In one sentence, Shen Xingsui pointed out the most important point.

After all, the method was still unknown, and yet, the villain had successfully infected two people in one day.

The director was waiting for this question, and when Shen Xingsui raised it, he immediately said, “This is everyone’s task today. In this forest, there is scattered treasure, the mirror fragments. Use the map in your hand to find them. You can also use this mirror – if you hang them on someone’s waist, the color will change. If it’s red, then it’s the villain; if it’s green, then it’s the hero. However, they can be destroyed by the villain, and the destroyed mirrors cannot be repaired at all.”

It’s a matter of speed.

The director continued to show a mysterious smile and said, “Today, our team assignment is still based on the votes of the audience, but we have added an interactive link today. After a while, we will use everyone’s mobile phones to log in to Weibo and send a voting link. The voting time is ten minutes.”

Then, the director asked a staff member to bring the guests’ collected mobile phones.

For the sake of fairness and justice, the staff posted the voting link on their behalf – the guests only helped to unlock the phone and logged into their Weibo accounts.

Shen Xingsui also cooperated obediently.

When the staff saw his mobile phone wallpaper, she smiled and said:,”Suisui really has a childlike innocence. You still use cartoons as your wallpaper.” Because of what she said, the cameraman came over and took a close-up of the wallpaper.

This allowed the audience in the live broadcast room to see his wallpaper – Spongebob Squarepants.

Shen Xingsui shyly smiled, “I… chose it casually. I took this wallpaper from Weibo accounts I liked, or from some forum.”

The staff started to edit the Weibo link and said, “Looking at your usual Weibo, I can’t see that you have such a childlike innocence.”

Shen Xingsui thought, ‘Well, I do use my trumpet to search for them…’

But when this thought flashed by, he was completely stunned! Because he suddenly remembered that on his current mobile phone, the Weibo login account seems to be his own trumpet!

Did he already change it?

It doesn’t seem to be…

Before he started the recording, he wanted to find a proper wallpaper, so he used his trumpet to search for it. And he didn’t remember if he switched it back to his main account!

And just now, he was so focused on talking to others that he didn’t pay attention to the information on his personal homepage when he clicked on Weibo.

If… if he posted the official link on his trumpet….

His display name…

Thinking of Weibo and the remarks he made all these years… Thinking of his mutual relations with Fu Jinxiao’s major fans….

Once all these are exposed—

Then… he might as well move to live on another planet.

The author has something to say:

Fu Jinxiao’s fan to Suisui: So… you are one of our kind.
