Wang Chuyan looked at Fu Jinxiao very excitedly, hoping to get the favor of Actor Fu. 

After Fu Jinxiao heard her reply, the smile on the corner of his mouth deepened a little. He glanced at the woman lightly, and instead of handing her the flower as gently as the woman imagined, he said, “Ah I see. This ‘love at first sight’ you just speak of is that fickle. You can just change your target to anyone, right?” 

Wang Chuyan’s face turned pale.

When she looked at Actor Fu’s smiling face again, he already used his acting prowess to appear as harmless as possible.

Wang Chuyan was stunned and had nothing to say, she lowered her head with reddened eyes, and ran away.

Shen Xingsui saw her escape in a flash with a confused expression.  “Hey, you…”

Fu Jinxiao saw that he was still staring at her back, and raised his eyebrows, “Why, do you feel bad?”

Shen Xingsui was wronged again. He explained his meaning, “No, I just think she is still a little girl, surely, she meant no harm, right? Probably only having a small crush or something like that?” 

“If you feel sorry for her, then you are making a big mistake.” Shen Xingchen popped out from behind to interject, “She doesn’t really like you, she just wants your lapel flower as a symbol of your favor. Fu Jinxiao completed Shen Xingchen’s guest, “After a while, when other male artists with better prospect debuted, she will change her partner in a heartbeat.”

Both of them were children who grew up in wealthy circles, and they were very familiar with these type of gold-diggers. This kind of people had been around since both men were young, and naturally, they had developed the ability to smell them from a mile away. 

Shen Xingsui was educated and gradually understood.

The agent Wang Meican saw both of her artists talking. She came over and said, “The party here is over, you all go back quickly. Suisui and Teacher Fu can go back to the dressing room to remove your makeup, the makeup artists are waiting.”

Shen Xingsui nodded.

Fu Jinxiao had already walked towards the dressing room first, followed by Shen Xingsui behind him.

When passing by the corridor and the back edge of the stage, many actors who had stepped off the stage were calling their families to report that they were safe. A big portion of them were happily chatting, some even shedding tears. 

Shen Xingsui was fascinated.

A person was holding a pile of sundries coming from the corner in front, and the two of them almost bumped into each other head-on. But fortunately, Fu Jinxiao stopped him with quick eyes and hands, which prevented the accident from happening.

Shen Xingsui exclaimed, a little startled.

Fu Jinxiao glanced at him indifferently, “Pay attention.” 

Shen Xingsui nodded quickly. “Thank you.

“You see a girl you like to give your lapel flower?” 

Shen Xingsui blushed, “How could that be!”

“No, I’m… quite moved to see that everyone seems to be busy packing up and going home.” Shen Xingsui smiled lightly and said. ” At this time last year, Anran’s identity was just found out, and everyone in the family went to find Anran. Since that means I’m no longer related to the Jian family biologically… they left me behind.” 

Fu Jinxiao’s eyes darkened.

Fu Jinxiao asked, “You live alone, then?”

The makeup artist started to remove Fu Jinxiao’s makeup. 

Both the artist and Shen Xingsui didn’t expect that Actor Fu still had something else to say,  “Actually, strictly speaking, I take care of you this well… not because you are my student.”

Shen Xingsui looked at her and was very touched. The youth didn’t expect her to be so nice to him, so he looked at her gratefully and said sincerely, “Thank you.” 

The makeup artist snickered again and said, “You’re welcome.”

Fu Jinxiao gave her another warning look, “Again, is there something so funny? If you want to laugh, you can do it outside.” 

The makeup artist finally felt Actor Fu’s sadness, she didn’t dare to laugh anymore. Plus, she was afraid of being stabbed by the actor, so she lowered her head obediently and said, “I’m sorry, Fu-ge, I was wrong.”

Fu Jinxiao let her go. 

Shen Xingsui didn’t know what was wrong, nor could he interpret what kind of riddles they were talking about. 

After the two of them finished removing their makeup, Wang Meican also dealt with things outside and came back. “Tonight, I will send this year’s red envelopes and gift boxes to various media and studios in your name. Do you want to decide the amount?” 

Every year, large studios would give red envelopes to the media and friends on such important festivals for social etiquette.

“You’re welcome.” Fu Jinxiao was holding a black phone in his hand, and the ending of his words was drawn out, “After all, I’m a good person, aren’t I?” 

Wang Meican was taken aback. She needed context. “Ah?” 

Although Shen Xingsui felt as if he meant something else, he still sincerely said, “Thank you, Teacher Fu! I, uh… actually, I also prepared a gift for you!”

Fu Jinxiao was surprised, “Really?”

This was the first time he heard someone tell him that because other people have it, he should get it too.
