409 Caleb Seemed To Be a Nice Man

Isabella understood why Joseph always looked arrogant all of a sudden and thought Joseph wanted to use it to protect himself. Besides, she felt distressed about what happened to Joseph. Isabella could imagine how much Joseph suffered these years.

And it made sense why Joseph was so clever and independent. He had no one to depend on and had to do everything himself.

Joseph noticed Isabella kept her eyes fixed on him. He came to his senses and smiled gently. “Don’t think about it. They will leave soon. We don’t have to hang out with them. Just remember to stay far away from them, especially Michael. He is not a good thing.”

Isabella nodded. “I see. I will be careful. Joseph, you must be excellent, so grandpa would like to let you take charge of the Wilson Consortium.”
