Chapter 216: The Wedding (5) – Wedding Ruined

Jarek sat in the front row on the groom’s side of the congregation. He proudly looked on at Jacek standing at the altar with the priest awaiting Erika’s entrance.

A congregation of the world’s most powerful, wealthy, and elite individuals had all taken their seats. A long tunneled-archway of BloodStar Roses stood at the center of the audience with its pathway exiting into an aisle flanked by rows of seats on both sides. Behind the archway, many more rows of stadium seating were filled to the brim with those eagerly awaiting Erika’s appearance.

The sun shone down from high above with a gentle breeze in the air and a blue sky overhead. The weather was simply perfect.

Jarek smiled to himself pleased with how the day had progressed to this point hoping that it would continue to progress without a hitch.

He then felt a vibration in his pants pocket. He startled as it caught him off guard. He quickly and discreetly checked his phone to see Ramses calling him. He pushed a button sending the call to voicemail immediately as he shook his head and thought, “You picked a bad day to be late, Ramses. I can’t help you get here any faster.”

Suddenly, his phone rang again, and he again sent it to voicemail thinking, “You won’t drag me down with you Ramses. I will not be the target of my son’s wife’s anger on the day of their marriage.”

Again... his phone began to vibrate. This time, Jarek took a hard look at his phone wondering if he should answer it, “I suppose this could be an emergency after the small skirmishes last evening on Khan Island.” However, before he could decide, the decision was made for him as the procession music began to play. Jarek sighed, turned his phone off, and slipped it back into his pants pocket.

The tunnel of BloodStar Roses began coming to life with a beautiful yet subtle red glow, and the entirety of the audience stood to face the tunnel’s archway exit.

A few short moments later, Erika emerged from the tunnel taking slow, purposeful steps. She wore a gleaming smile with perfect hair, and her dress complemented her with utmost grace.

She continued to slowly walk the aisle towards the altar smiling at familiar faces of loved ones as she went. She even glanced and subtly nodded at Constance sitting in the audience. Erika was genuinely thankful Constance had made her hair look amazing for her big day.

Constance returned a beautiful smile and winked at Erika acknowledging her subtle nod as she passed. The original appearance of this chapter can be found at Ñøv€lß1n.

Erika proceeded down the aisle until she reached the end. She then looked to Jacek with a smile and ascended a few short steps to stand across from him.

The two shared a lover’s gaze with one another peering deeply into each other’s eyes.

The music then stopped, and the priest began, “We gather here today to bear witness to the covenant of marriage to be made here today between Master Erika Sage of the Sage Empire and Lord Jacek Heraklinos of the Heraklinos Empire.”

The priest looked on to the crowd and waved his hand as he said, “You may all please be seated.”

The sounds of hundreds of people taking their seats filled the air for a few moments until silence reigned again.

The priest continued on for several minutes reading predetermined passages from various sacred and holy texts until at last it was time for the exchanging of rings.

The priest turned towards Jacek, “Lord Heraklinos.”

Within moments, Erika’s perfect wedding had crumbled. Her ring finger was still dripping with Vega’s cum, and now her hair was an absolute terror. Her face remained contorted with a rush of anger, and in a matter of seconds she had transformed from a beautiful and stunning bride to a frazzled, irate troll with an alarming appearance.

Constance couldn’t help but let out a small impolite laugh which echoed throughout the dead silence of the venue.

Erika grit her teeth as she redirected her gaze from Vega towards Constance, “YOU.”

Erika took a few steps down the altar scowling with a horrific expression and tumult hair, “IT WAS YOU.”

Constance put her hand up to her chest as if to say ‘Me?’ and she then winked at Erika. Erika’s pace quickened as she stomped towards Constance.

Jarek turned in his seat unsure how to intervene if at all. He thought to himself, “This is a disaster. I can’t save it if I tried. The best recourse is probably to just let Erika have her way with Constance. She brought this on herself. Dreadful girl.”

Erika stomped slowly with anger in each of her purposeful steps as she drudged towards Constance in her wedding dress.

Constance sat in a coveted aisle seat given to her by Erika’s grace leaving an unobstructed pathway between Erika and Constance.

Constance stood facing Erika as she approached.

Erika let out a shrill laugh, “You think mighty high of yourself Constance Khan. I dare you to attack me. That is your intent is it not? Attack me, and I will remind you why I am Master and you are not!”

Constance stood with utmost grace and beauty in contrast to Erika, “Attack you? I would never. It is forbidden. That privilege and honor lies with another.”

Erika stood in front of Constance gritting her teeth and snarling directly into Constance’s face, “Fine. Then you will be imprisoned. I will curse you for the ages! You will wish you were dead!”

In lieu of responding, Constance turned her back to Erika and took a knee bowing her head towards the tunneled archway of BloodStar Roses.

Erika and the remainder of the spectators donned a confused expression at Constance’s actions. However, before they had time to further process the rush of events which had all taken place so swiftly, the BloodStar Roses began to glow with a bounding energy creating a bright and vibrant crimson glow.

Murmurs ran abound within the crowd. The roses emitted a crimson ki so beautiful it captivated the audience; they had never seen anything even closely resembling the sight at hand.

The one person present who had seen it before many ages ago, Jarek, stood up with an alarmed demeanor as he thought to himself, “BloodStar ki? Has Nero arrived? What is the meaning of this?!”

Constance smiled from her kneeled position, and quietly said, “All hail the empress. Long live the empress.”

Erika heard her whispers and frowned with a look of concern as her gaze moved from Constance to the nearby BloodStar roses which had begun to vibrantly glow. Erika squinted her eyes at the bright crimson red glow emitting from the roses, and she noticed the silhouette of a beautiful womanly figure emerging from within.
