Chapter 199: Bank Robbery (6) – I Hate Losing

The bank manager looked on from his seated position in the chair as Xenia proceeded to kneel and pull numerous pieces of heavy-duty tools from the duffel bag including large bore drills, dremels, a jackhammer, and diamond-plated saws.

He stuttered as he tried to inform her, “Miss- Miss Night. These tools although powerful will likely result in-“

“I said watch!” Xenia yelled at him sharply to shut him up. She knew now that Michael’s Holy Knights were dead, he may soon show himself to investigate. She knew she was on a clock now.

After unloading her equipment, she faced the inner vault door and began to inspect it. The vault door was a unique proprietary technology. It was built into a wall seamlessly with no grooves or indications of a door. The separation between the vault door and the surrounding wall measured less than 1 micron thick.

Undeterred, Xenia inspected the vault door quickly finding areas which she suspected housed locking mechanisms underneath. She had studied the vault design intensely before embarking on this heist.

She picked up a small handheld drill and began creating multiple pilot holes to guide the larger drills needed to reach the locking mechanisms.

The bank manager couldn’t help but to speak out again, “You do know there is a layer of glass between the surface of the door and the locking mechanisms. If this pane is shattered, the vault door will seal itself shut.”

Xenia hardly spared him a glance muttering, “I know” as she continued with the small drill creating thin ribbons of metal which peeled off from drill bit as she went.

After creating several small pilot holes, she put the smaller handheld drill down and picked up an industrial drill which required both of her hands to hoist up against the vault.

She looked to the manager, “This drill is crafted with a very soft metal which should erode before creating enough pressure to shatter the glass pane within. As the drill bit erodes, it should also erode the glass just enough without causing it to shatter.”

She smiled before turning back to the work at hand, and the manager couldn’t help but sit in awe thinking, “She is really quite good at this. She came prepared. I have to give her that.”

Xenia inserted the large drill into the first pilot hole drilling very slowly. Both she and the manager could hear the crackling of eroding glass but never the sharp crack of a shattered pane. She put continuous pressure on the drill pushing it forward slowly until she felt an absence of impedance.

She smiled to herself knowing she had broken into the first locking mechanism. She removed the large drill and moved on to the second pilot hole where she performed the exact same process until she felt the drill softly slide past the glass pane within.

She repeated the process on the third pilot hole and removed the drill to find the drill bit heavily eroded. She quickly grabbed a replacement drill bit and moved on to the fourth pilot hole.

She was very nearly through the glass pane once again; however, a large clap of thunder sounded off from outside shaking the building. Xenia held still with a tight grip on the drill. She grit her teeth in anger knowing she was in a precarious position for ground trembling thunder to be taking place.

The thunder passed, and the trembling subsided. Xenia let out a relieved breath and quickly turned to face the vault as she continued with the drill; however, just as she did, another ferocious thunder sounded off.

The building shook with a rattle. Xenia held the drill firmly in place; however, as the tremor of the building continued, a loud ‘crack’ was heard from within the vault door.

Xenia pulled the drill out and slammed it on the ground as pieces flew asunder, “Fucking bullshit!”

She began to pace with her hands on her hips shaking her head, “The fucking thunder is what’s going to stop me from getting inside without using ki?”

She pushed her tongue into her cheek with frustration, and the bank manager mumbled to himself, “Without using ki?”

He then raised his hand and said a little louder, “I told you this wasn’t a good idea. There is petty cash in our smaller vaults you could have made off with easily.”

Xenia then formed a void portal and stepped into it taking her into the vault. She closed the portal behind her and found a table within the vault with a single letter upon it.

She quickly grabbed it, opened it, and began reading it.

“Oh my. We cordially invite you to the wedding ceremony of Master Erika Sage and Lord Jacek Heraklinos at the Sage Palace Gardens.” Xenia had a huge smile on her face grinning from ear to ear.

In the adjacent shadows, Xenia then heard the click of stiletto boots walking towards her. Xenia hardly spared a glance at the sound of the footsteps knowing this person to be present all along now that her ki was active again.

“Xenia, you’ve been a bad girl. I thought no ki was allowed in this game?” Constance leaned against a row of lock boxes with her arms crossed.

Xenia continued to pour over the wedding invitation ignoring Constance’s words. With a sarcastic yet thrilled tone, Xenia replied, “Oh Constance, I am so happy for her. This bitch is getting married to the love of her life. The same man who didn’t hesitate to fuck me raw. The same man who impregnated me and enjoyed every second of it.”

Xenia put the invitation down and turned to look at Constance, “Good for her. She has peaked in life. She can die happy now.”

Constance raised her eyebrows, “Oh can she?”

Xenia took a few steps towards Constance, “She attended my funeral. It would only be appropriate for me to attend hers.”

Xenia took a few more soft steps towards Constance, and Constance eye fucked her empress up and down. Xenia arrived before Constance and began to caress her face sensually, “But before we ready ourselves for this sad wedding. Did you call me a bad girl?”

Constance’s breathing shuddered as her empress touched her passionately. Xenia then grabbed the back of her head with a fistful of hair and held Constance’s head tightly, “Bad girls never lose. I always get what I want.”

Xenia then threw Constance onto the table with the wedding invitation and climbed atop her as she began to kiss her slowly and passionately on the lips.

Constance couldn’t quite pinpoint the flavor of brain matter on Xenia’s kisses, but she didn’t much care as she felt the pressure and movement of her empress’s body on top of hers.

Suddenly, there was a loud banging on the vault door as a man’s voice from the other side called out, “Get this door open!”

Several smaller voices could be heard, “Sir, we can’t. It has been tampered with.”

The man then sounded off, “Fine! Stand back. I’ll open it!”

Xenia smiled down at Constance, “I have a dungeon full of whips, restraints, and blades. I’m taking you there to show you how bad a girl I can really be.”

Constance’s entire body shuddered with pleasure at the sound of her empress’s words. Xenia reached to grab the wedding invitation and then created a void portal near the floor. She rolled both of them off the table and into the portal as they disappeared from the vault.

Moments later, a man punched his way through the vault door as if it were butter. St. Michael stepped in through the disfigured door and looked around with an alert composure.

He took a few steps in and inspected the table, “I want this entire vault searched for clues. Get started!”

He then turned around and promptly left the bank with a simmering anger inside of him.
