Chapter 149 - Mom, I Have Been A Bad Son

Name:Back For My Daughter Author:HaoShu
In the living room.

Grandma Yan was unable to stop herself from running towards her dear son and rushed to him.

She understood that even her son was yearning for her after she saw him looking at her with red eyes.

She didn't want to waste any more of the time and just place her son to her bosom and caress his face while asking him where he was and didn't he ever remember her, in all these years when he left her alone.

Ye Qian gently placed Little Jia on the ground with his eye still red and smiled at her.

Little Jia nodded and gave him a sweet smile, she understood her Papa wanted to hug Grandma and felt happy that her grandma would also be happy.

She nodded and took a few steps to the side not wanting to disturb the two with a tender smile.

Meanwhile, Yu Lan and her friends wanted to ask about Xiao Ya at first but seeing the situation in the room they thought it would be better to let Ye Qian and his mother meet first..

And they speculated with Ye Qian's actions that Xiao Ya must be fine since he closed the door with care as if someone was sleeping inside soundly.

Ye Qian took a few steps forward as to not let his mother slip due to her excitement.

But he couldn't contain the happiness he was feeling in his heart while seeing his mothers face.

All these five thousand years it was not that he only remembered his promise to his daughter and wife.

The person he cared about the most was his mother.

Though she might be a bit harsh and scolded him many a time, deep down he knew she loved him a lot, there were times when she would stay awake for weeks when he would have high fevers.

She would not care about herself and would always love him dearly.

He was her world to her, but after she died her small world would have shattered and she might have lost completely if not for Little Qiqi being too small.

Ye Qian had known all this through Yuan Meng when he asked, she would weep endlessly at nights crying his name while looking at his photo in her room.

He understood that what he yearned for was not more compared ot his mother, it was just that the time was different.

And maybe if it was his mother in his place she would still not have been able to get herself out of the predicament till now.

"Mom."

His lips trembled while he said the word after these five thousand years.

His voice became incredibly husky as he tried to say more.

Grandma Yan staggered as she got to him and hugged him tightly.

Knowing that her legs were wobbling Ye Qian caught her quickly and placed his hands around her back and let her cry to her heart's content.

"Little Qi...sobb...sobbb."

She finally let go of her control over her emotions and let go of all the grief she had stored in her heart all these years after she lost her son.

She sobbed a few seconds before she removed her head from his chest and took his face in her hands and caressed his cheeks and hair.

She then pinched his cheeks tightly and glared at him while tears still falling from her eyes.

Though she was glaring at him one could see the love she had in those eyes was thousands of times more compared to the anger she had in her eyes.

"You cheeky little rascal, you finally show us your face, why didn't you call us to let us know where you were all this long? We didn't know whether you were alive or where you were. They never found any evidence of you. Do you know how much devastated we were while you were gone?"

She said while glaring at him but her lips said otherwise since there was a loving smile on them.

"Sorry mom, I have been bad, really bad."

Ye Qian said with his voice choking while he took her other hand and held it between his hands and brought it to his face.

His eyes were still red and tears of joy dripped down his cheeks, this was the first time he had cried.

He didn't puller her hand which was still pinching his cheeks really hard.

He had stopped his immortal body from harming his mother as he didn't want this feeling of being scolded by his mother to be lost.

"You are a fool, cheh, how can you be bad?"

Grandma Yan brought her hand off his cheek and caressed his face again and said with a low voice.

Ye Qian smiled and hugged her tightly again.

He was now finally able to see his mother and didn't have anything more he could wish for.

Beside them, Yu Lan had a smiled on her lips while she wiped her tears off.

'Big Brother finally met Aunt Lan. He must be really missing her to cry so much.'

She thought and wiped her tears off.

Her gaze then landed behind Ye Qian where the door of the guest room was slightly open and two eyes were staring at Ye Qian and Grandma Yan.

The eyes seemed to be really happy as one could see the joy welling in them.

It was Yuan Meng, she understood that her mother in law would not stop seeing Ye Qian and she didn't want to miss the meeting of the mother and son.

She felt more than happy after seeing that Ye Qian had finally let go of his guilt.

She could always see the guilt in his eyes when they were in the room where there was a small photo of the four of them.

The four were of course Ye Qian, Yuan Meng, Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao.

She could vaguely feel that more than them Ye Qian missed his mother and that was why she wanted to rush to the town.
