Chapter 1229 Feeling Wary!

As soon as he glanced at Ye Qian, the owner frowned.

"Young man, your condition doesn't look any good."

"No sir, thanks for your worry, I will be fine after a bit of rest, can you please buy these herbs from me and give me the best price possible that you can give me."

Ye Qian shook his head, there had been very few people with whom he had come in contact ever since his soul arrived in this world in a completely different body.

So he could only learn with each time as the owners reacted with each herb they took out from his bunch with some interest and kept it in mind so as to look for that specific herb even more in the mountains.

By now he had understood that there were about 5 herbs that he had found that were of some importance and could be traded for enough money according to him.

But never had an owner asked him to come to their shop wanting to check the herbs.

This only made Ye Qian to be a bit wary.

As he walked into the alley between the herb shop and the other shop he didn't know what it was but nonetheless it looked more like some weapons and other stuff.

It had been not more than half a minute and they reached a door from the wall. Ye Qian could tell that this was also a part of the shop or probably a warehouse.

This kind of place was best for someone if they wanted to loot someone off their goods or do anything that was not considered as good.

Ye Qian sighed.

The thought of him having some expensive herbs today only made him think this.

But there was nothing that he could do and even if he were to call for help the chances of people believing someone with such a condition could be said as the least.

And given the man and the shop seemed pretty old and had even been here for a long time, the chances of someone even thinking of believing him were negligible.

'I will tell him to give them at least 50 coins if he can let me go and try to loot me.'

Ye Qian had thought that the herbs in his bunch would probably be around 200 copper coins and even if he were to get 50 copper coins, he would still be happy.

As he thought, the middle-aged man turned around and smiled.

"We will need a calm place to look for the herbs, and I don't like anyone to disturb me when I check them."
