Chapter 1197 Grandma Yan Is Looking For Answers!

"Umm, yes, a few days ago when I went home, I got a call from Jiao."

In the staffroom, Ning Wei pursed her lips and nodded while answering Yuan Meng's question.

She remembered that the girl had called her a few days ago when she had moved back to her house leaving Little Jia along with Ye Qian and Yuan Meng.

"Is anything wrong Sister Meng?"

She then asked to see Yuan Meng knit her brows.

"Didn't you notice that Jiao didn't come to meet us all these days?"

Hearing her words, Ning Wei facepalmed and smiled dryly.

"This is my bad Sister Meng, I forgot to tell you, Jiao said that she was going to her hometown for a few days and it would not be here for a few days."

Yuan Meng frowned.

So far she had heard Jiao mentioning her hometown many times and she knew that a few times the girl had gone she would stay there for a few days.

Now that they were free they thought that using this time to make the test papers was better and they would get more time to help in the house later on.

"Yan'er, what are you doing here, searching our son and daughter-in-law's room?"

Grandpa Xiao looked at Grandma Yan's back as she seemed to be searching for something for quite a long time and frowned.

It had been more than half an hour since Grandma Yan had been searching for something and whenever he asked about what she was looking for, she would only tell him to not ask any questions and just let her do what she was.

But he felt that it was not right for her to do something like this since there might be a few PERSONAL things that belonged to Ye Qian and Yuan Meng that they should rather not see.

"ARGHHH, Old Ye, if you can't help me, don't ask me foolish questions, I want to find answers to some of my questions."

Grandma Yan turned to Grandpa Xiao and snapped while fidgeting with the drawer.

"Yan'er, it's their bedroom, what is that you want to find?"

Grandpa Xiao frowned.

Although he might be a bit deadpan for his son and daughter-in-law, that didn't mean that he didn't care about their privacy.

"Just as he was about to continue and stop Grandma Yan, Grandma Yan's brows raised high as she found a small slip of paper from the drawer."

Taking a look at the paper which looked more like a bill, Grandma Yan exclaimed.

"I got it!"

Grandpa Xiao glanced at the sheet of long paper in her hand and pursed his lips.

"Is this what you had been looking for, a bill?"

He didn't know whether he should laugh or cry at his wife's find.

She had been fiddling with so many things in the bedroom just to find a bill, that was just too much nonsense.

"No, it's not just a bill, it's the answer to some of my questions."

Grandam Yan narrowed her eyes as she looked at the long list of things that seemed to be bought within the bill.

And as she looked at the date that was on the bill, her eyes flashed with a glint.
