"You seemed to be pretty young, did you like married not long ago?"

It felt as if the driver didn't know just how long the distance from the University was here and thus said such words.

The driver nodded while taking another turn.

Meanwhile, Yuan Meng seemed to have gotten curious as she asked.

"It's rare to find taxis here at such late night, how come you were here?"

She seemed to be vigilant since the turn that this person had taken was quite different from the path they had come from before.

"Ohh, that is because I am not from this place, I came here just in the evening since I was asked by someone to drop here."

The driver laughed and then continued.

"Of course, the money being given was quite a lot and so I agreed if not coming to a new place is quite hefty."

On the seat, Yuan Meng seemed to nod and agree with his words.

"And making some money while going back home is always good, hehe, don't you agree young man."

The driver then called out.

"Hmm."

"But I think the path you have taken is wrong?"

Ye Qian had just nodded when Yuan Meng asked.

"Haha, nope, didn't you say that you want to go close to the big park, when I was coming out I came from this route, so I will take the road which I am aware of."

"Ohh."

Yuan Meng nodded but after a moment she seemed to be taking a look out of the window.

"The tower is close to the house I can see it, maybe this is really the other road leading to the house."

Yuan Meng muttered lightly with a bit of confusion.

Although she could see the tower which was close to their house getting closer as the taxi drove, she thought that this route was a bit longer than the one they had taken while coming to send Yu Lan and her friends.

But seeing that they were still on the road going back to their house, Yuan Meng didn't feel anything off.

Meanwhile, as Yuan Meng looked outside and nodded while muttering lightly, the driver who was Le Zheng breathed a sigh of relief as he looked at Yuan Meng from the rearview mirror.

'Eldest miss, although his road is longer, but there are some suspicious people standing on the other road, and they are much more powerful than us, I don't want you two to suffer more today, you already have gone through a lot.'

As Le Zheng muttered in his heart, his expression was not left unnoticed by Ye Qian.

Grandma Yan was walking to and fro in the living room with an obviously worried look on her face.

And there was another person who had a similar worried look on their face while sitting on the sofa while taking a look at Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao's room where the little girls were sleeping.
