Chapter 1080 Didn't Disappoint The Chief!

Seeing a completely different scenario when compared to what they had imagined would occur, everyone present in the hall of the laboratory was staring with suspicious glances at the centre of the hall where four people stood.

Of which, one was the chief of this Genetic Laboratory and the other two were his students who also had quite a big name in the scientific community and have many of research papers in their names.

And the fourth person was someone who had joined the lab for not more than a month.

But it was obvious that he had started to be a bit jarring in the eyes of some people.

But the way Professor Zhang had been addressing him for all this long and had even forgotten the GREAT LOSS which they had just incurred with, no one could understand the origin of this young man.

Of course, most of them were not just confused, but even completely shocked.

"Umm... thanks."

Yin Hua who had already thought that he was going to be scolded heavily since he had heard about professor Zhang's temper for quite a long time from almost everyone present here, but was a bit shocked to hear all of this and could only blankly nod and thank him.

Professor Zhang asked and then turned to the others and asked in a loud enough voice.

"Does anyone else have the answer to this question?"

Almost everyone shook their heads and that was the same for the two students of Professor Zhang as well.

"Because of my theory about these special cells still having some sort of connection with the origin body, which might be nothing but a mere possibility?"

Yin Hua said with an embarrassed look on his face, but he didn't dare to not respond to the Cheif Scientist.

But his words were only loud enough that they could enter the ears of the three people present.

As they heard his words, the two scientists, who were also the students of Professor Zhang, had their eyes widened for a moment as if they had heard something that was quite possible. but till now they had not thought about it for so long.

The reason why none of them had thought of something similar to this was that they had been thinking that since these cells were separated and could live on their own out of the ORIGIN body, then there was really no need of them to have any kind of connection with the real body through which they had originated from.

But as they heard Yin Hua's words, they could not help but once again want to think of this kind of possibility to truly exist.

Hearing Yin Hua's words, unknownst to which was not any different from a great shock for them, Professor Zhang laughed aloud and nodded in appreciation to him.

"Haha, indeed what I can expect from my old friend."

Not just Yin Hua, but almost everyone was shocked still, and that was when they heard Professor Zhang continue even further.

"Young man, you really don't disappoint me."

"What?!"

Dr Xiang who had a cold sneer hung on his lips all this long wanting to see the number of abuses the newcomer in order to soothe his anger was going to hear was the one who was shocked to the core.

That was because the words of Professor Zhang just now were sufficient for one with the good sense to understand that he had known this newcomer for quite a long time.

"Huh...Professor...?"

Yin Hua stared at the middle-aged man in front of him with a dumbfounded gaze.

He was truly confused as to what the Chief of this Genetic Lab was talking about.

How come he didn't disappoint one of the greatest genetic scientists in the nation?

Or more precisely, the question was, how come such a great scientist which many would rarely have a chance to meet in their life knew someone like him who had merely started his journey in the path of genetic sciences for not more than a couple of years?

It was a completely other reason for him to look up to Professor Zhang since he admired him ever since he came across with him and then also followed his path of Genetics, trying to just be a bit like him when he turned older.

Of course, the reason was not just because he knew this Professor Zhang for quite a long ago, but he didn't know if the Professor remembered him.

It was because the last time he had met this idol of his was more than 15 years ago.

And in these 15 years, not only had he grown up quite a lot, but Professor Zhang's persona had been completely achieved the heights which would be enough for him to forget many people whom he had met quite long ago.

One being able to remember someone whom they met just a few months ago was already quite hard, but it had been more than 15 years since he had met this great scientist when he was merely a teen.

But at that time, Yin Hua didn't meet this person as an idol, but as someone like a familial figure, but after meeting after so long, there were obvious chances that one might forget someone whom they had met so long ago.

Of course, the only exception was someone who had left quite a deep impression on their mind and heart.

"Haha, little guy, did you forget me already, how long has it been, 15 years or so, I must say, your memory is not that good?"

Professor Zhang's words were like a clap pf thunder for not just Yin Hua, but also Mao An and Fang Shufen.

These two were the two students which Professor Zhang had under his tutelage for more than 5 years and also the ones whom he trusted the most in all these groups of people.
