In the meeting hall on the 30th floor of the hulking building which belonged to the Han Industries.

A clamour rose as soon as the newly appointed young man blamed Han Xiaowen for the huge losses of the company and her decisions which lead to it.

What he didn't know of before had resulted in him being mocked by almost everyone in the hall.

"Boy, do you even know what out Little Miss has done for this company."

A middle-aged man who appeared in his mid 50's said with a cold light flashing in his eyes.

He was one of the shareholders who was friends with Han Xiaowen's father from the start and had been supporting Li Zhiyun for a long time considering his friendship with her late husband's tragic death.

Of course, he had been closely watching over Han Xiaowen as well all this long from the time she was appointed as the CEO of the large company after her mother suddenly fell into a coma for an unknown period of time.

It could be said that he was Han Xiaowen's teacher right now as he thought her many things which helped her overcome the losses.

Feeling his face being slapped, the young man obviously retorted, that even if the middle-aged man was a millionaire and was in a higher position than what he would ever dream of becoming, he had known that Han Xiaowen would be thrown out of the position of the CEO of the company and he would definitely be able to get a higher position since he was closer to the management which was closely under Han Lao's guidance.

His words were just like a tight slap on the young man's face, as soon as he heard the words, the man had no choice but to sit down.

Obviously, he had read the whole report and knew of everything which Han Xiaowen had done, but he wanted to suck up to Han Lao and wanted to get the limelight in front of him.

But things didn't happen as he had planned and he had no other opinion but to hide his face from all the people in the hall after being completely shamed.

"Haha."

A few members along with the middle-aged man laughed out aloud but that was when a sweet and elegant voice was heard throughout the hall.

As soon as the voice was heard, the whole hall quietened and there was pin-drop silence.

"Mr Zhang."

Li Zhiyun called with a slight smile obviously knowing that Mr Zhang was trying to show his support to her daughter.

She obviously knew of what had happened all this long and also the fact that Mr Zhang had been helping Han Xiaowen all this long.

Hearing her calling him, Mr Zhang also stopped laughing and nodded while sipping on the glass of water in front of him while giving a light nod giving his stance even now.

She might have been able to stop him from shaming the young man, but she didn't have the heart to, since the man was obviously trying to make her daughter lose face.

She nodded and then looked around with her eyes peering around all the members of the Board of directors.

There were some people who appeared proud and had a proud smile on their faces as they greeted her, while there were some who were smiling wryly.

Obviously, these were the people who were too powerful and could not be budged by even threats and the others were the ones who had been threatened to support Han Lao.

As for the other group of people, they had their heads low, they were even embarrassed to face her since they were the ones who were colluding with Han Lao for the benefits which he had promised them.

It was said that Li Zhiyun had roughly 20 percent of the shares of the Company, while there was 20 percent with her father-in-law the 7 percent each was under the names of his two sons of his, of whom Han Xiaowen's father had died and so they were transferred to his wife which equalled to 27 stakes of the company.

Then of the leftover shares, 10 percent each were under the name of the two children Han Xiaowen and her cousin.

And of the remaining 26 percent were under the various shareholders of the company.

Given that the vast majority of shares that Li Zhiyun had under her ownership, she had the right to vote the most and her vote would also have a very high weight to it.

The reason why Han Lao was convinced that he would be able to win over the company by throwing off Han Xiaowen was that he knew that there was no way that Li Zhiyun would wake up and the other reason was that his father won't be siding with any one of them and would likely stay neutral.

Given that he had 7 percent along with his son's 10 percent and then bribing some of the shareholders, he was confident that he would be able to take over the company in just a matter of minutes if the election was to be made.

But now, with the presence of Li Zhiyun, the shareholders who he had forced and threatened, had gained confidence and he knew that they would definitely support her decision no matter what it was.

Right now even if he were to oppose along with the few members whom he was clear would support him and the other fact that his father won't be taking part in the election, Han Lao had little to no chance of winning.

And that was because just with Li Zhiyun's shares along with Han Xiaowen's they totalled 37 percent.
