Chapter 501 A Slap!

In the cafe.

With a face full of cream and coffee, Jhao Gang was glaring at Ye Qian.

Just a moment ago the girl whom he was on a date with had splashed the drink on his face making him feel burning in his eyes and even beat him a few punches before dashing out.

And since it was all because of Ye Qian who had started laughing aloud, Jhao Gang was angrier at Ye Qian and not Su Ren.

Because in his mind, if not for Ye Qian he might have kissed the beautiful college girl and it was only a matter of time before she would be in his hands.

Now all of his hard work was wasted into nothing and he even got beaten by that girl whom he wanted to play with.

Thinking of all this he dashed towards Ye Qian with his fist towards his face.

"Brat you dare hit my friend!"

Su Ren was about to stop him by holding his shirt but being in anger, Su Ren's speed was not enough to be a match for Jhao Gang's who already had his fist close to Ye Qian's face.

Su Ren was not given enough time to think that the brat would all of a sudden hit his buddy out of nowhere.

With no time to react, Su Ren also rushed behind but was far away as Jhao Gang's fist was just a few inches away.

"Damnit!"

Su Ren cursed completely aware that Ye Qian would not be able to stop Jhao Gang, last time he hit that brat just because he was still in a drunken state and didn't dare to fight back due to him being close to Jhao Gang's parents.

But now there was no way out, and coupled with the fact that Ye Qian didn't like harming others and was not quite adept in fighting, Su Ren had already thought that Ye Qian would surely be injured because of his foolishness.

The same was with the people around them, the scene had once again taken another drastic turn as the young man was about to hit the person's friend whom they looked down upon due to his actions and clothing.

But much to Su Ren and everyone's shock, things didn't happen as they had imagined should happen to be like.

Though Jhao Gang's punch was close enough to Ye Qian's face and was just about to hit his lovely face, Jhao Gag stopped moving.

"Pah."

It was only until they heard a loud slapping sound that they recognized what might have happened.

"UHHHHH"

Jhao Gang groaned for a moment before his mouth started to froth and he felt on the floor limp.

Su Ren glanced at Ye Qian who was looking at Jhao Gang with an annoyed face and took his palm back.

"This young boy is really too much!"

Ye Qian said and took the bill that the waiter had brought.

But right now, the waiter was no less than that of a stone statue, he had thought that he would be able to find a way to reap some benefits by being a third person, but things didn't happen as he had thought of would.

When the young man's punch was about to hit the broke man, there was a sudden swirling of wind that he felt near his face.

The waiter thought that maybe the window was left open and thus there was such change, but the next moment, all he saw was a flash of palm which hit Jhao Gang's face and after that, he didn't have the courage nor the ability to see what had happened.

Meanwhile, Su Ren chuckled aloud bringing the silent cafe back to reality.

Everyone was just too shocked by the sudden change of events.

He looked at Ye Qian and guffawed.

"Old Ye, you sure have improved these past years, now I really think highly of you."

Saying that he was about to pull the bill from Ye Qian's hand when he was stopped by Ye Qian.

"Let me."

Ye Qian chuckled and took out a 100 Yuan bill from his pocket and placed it on the tray that the waiter had brought.

"Rest it the tip."

The overall bill was just nearly 70 Yuan and the remaining 30 was the waiter's tip.

It was indeed a generous tip for someone like his.

It had to be known that the basic pay for any waiter in the city was nearly 2000 yuan and receiving 5 Yuan as a tip was already a lot for a waiter.

And now the person whom he had looked down upon was giving him such a tip, it was neat a slap on his face.

But the waiter quickly adjusted himself and grinned, nonetheless, he was still happy about the big tip he had received.

Su Ren looked at Ye Qian with a bit of annoyance but then shook his head.

He knew that with Ye Qian's attitude he wouldn't let him pay even if he had less money with him, and now Su Ren was more amendment on finding a way to get Ye Qian a job without getting Ye Qian to know that it was due to him.

"Come let's go, I will drop you at your house."

Su Ren suggested once they were at the parking and in front of this Honda.

But Ye Qian shook his head.

"I have some relatives in the next street, I will go and have some time with them."

Ye Qian uprightly said the truth since there was nothing to hide it from Su Ren.

After a moment he continued.

"You should also get back to your office, who knows you might be needed there."

Ye Qian said as he took a step towards the Xieyue Food court which was barely a few hundred meters away from them.

Su Ren could only nod, even though he wanted to help Ye Qian, he didn't want him to feel that Ye Qian would owe him something thus he thought that this might also be a good chance for him to see if there was any vacancy in his department.
