Chapter 702 - I am an orphan

Arlo smiled and pinched her nose, "You wouldn't! My dummy president didn't sign because of Darling. She did for me but was confused thinking how could you marry a..."

Sky tried to control but couldn't and giggled, "Homo?" Sky rubbed her nose and again asked, "What if I walked away?"

"Probably I would have proposed you properly or kidnapped you to faraway place."

Sky was smiling when Jai and Samara went to them, "You two are looking like newly married than us."

Sky chuckled without leaving Arlo's arms. "Sister-in-law, say something new. We always get that compliment."

Jai pinched her cheek, "Your husband is spoiling you too much. Isn't it?"

Sky turned to Samara, "Sister-in-law, spoil your husband to no end. I will give you tips if you don't know."

Jai was chuckling when they heard Arlo ask, "Why do only Barton siblings have to get pampered?"

Sky turned to Arlo in surprise, "You asked me to marry and Sister-in-law asked my brother. So of course, it's your duty to take care of us. And are you sure I'm not..."

Arlo didn't let her finish and covered her mouth making the other two chuckle. Jai collected their certificate and went out to see Sky laughing looking at blushing Arlo.

"Brother Arlo with Sky is completely different than how he is with the rest." Samara remarked as they went towards them.

Jai hummed, "Nobody could love my little sister as much as him." He had seen him and heard from Sky a lot of times. So he knew how important Sky was for him.

Both reached and drove back to the palace.

After lunch, all went to their rooms to rest. Sky was working on her laptop when Arlo entered the room and closed her laptop before pulling her to arms. Both were cuddling before Sky drifted off to sleep in his arms.

Arlo took her laptop and drafted out mails and created some notes on files before closing it and laying back on the bed. Seeing her snuggling, he wrapped his hands before falling asleep.

But it wasn't so silent on the other side. Samara couldn't convince her father to attend who was asking Jai to apologize to him for everything and take over the company by revealing his relationship with them to the media.

Samara and Sana both knew why he was doing it. He wanted a man to handle a company and Jai's popularity to help Moore's company. So she didn't agree. She straightway objected Jai won't take over the company at any cost because her father would try to control him and the Barton family that way thinking they would be living under him.

If these all Loran or Sky gets to know and trouble them, in the end, Sigma or Harley would take over the company leaving them as mere shareholders. Sometimes Samara thought that would be better which could break her father's ego but he was her father and she couldn't make her mind to be harsh on him.

"Get Out! I'll not let my husband be your puppet. I'll just think I am an orphan."

"YOU..." He tried to hit but Samara's reflexes were fast and held his hand tight which made his skin turn red and frown in pain.

"Mr. Moore, let me remind you, I have worked in the military for seven years. My one stroke is enough to make you paralyzed. Am I still looking like a helpless girl from nine years before?... Leave before I call security to throw you out."

"Sister Sam..." Sana cried her name holding her arm.

Samara flung his hand back glaring at her father and patted in Sana's back who was crying the whole time.

Her father left trembling in rage. Samara consoled his sister, "San, why are you still getting tortured by him? Why are you working what you don't like? Why don't you move out?"

Having no son, sisters were always beaten in the past without mercy which made Samara rebel. Sana wasn't as strong as she looked to the outside world. She wasn't brave enough to stand alone so she always tolerated her father eating her pain.

"I know nothing to do and how am I going to live." She was forced to study business which she was taking care of but she wasn't talented enough in that field to grow it stronger.

"Come with me. Jai won't object. In fact, the whole family will accept you wholeheartedly." Samara tried to be convincing.

Sana didn't respond and wiped her cheeks. "Sister Sam, you should rest. You have a long evening."

She exited without waiting for the response. She went to the terrace and stomped her foot for not getting lighter for her smoke.

Sam who was resting on the lounge saw her and leisurely went ahead. He kept lighter in front of her and left.

Sana raised her hand and almost called him but didn't. She lighted her cigarette and smoked quite a few before nicotine overtook her feelings and felt relaxed.

Sana went back to her room to rest for sometime before getting ready like an unaffected beautiful girl.

...

Sky who woke up first nibbled her husband to wake him up and went on top of him seeing his smile.

"Shall I arrange a wedding photoshoot for us? I'll be in a white gown and you in a tux."

Stopping her from nibbling, He pinned her down, "No! I will arrange."

"Ar..." She couldn't get to finish and savored the movement then she heard him speak.

"Why were you thinking about the child?"

Sky smiled, "How about we have one too?"

"Did anybody tell you something?" Arlo didn't want her to do because of others.

Sky shook her head. "I was actually thinking from the past two weeks. We will only step ahead if you feel the same. Otherwise..." she flipped him down going on top, "We will have fun like this many more days."

"Vampire wife..." he let her rub his cheek and asked, "I only want you. Why do you think I'll share you with somebody else who will sit in your w.o.m.b for nine months and trouble you all th..."

He couldn't get to finish and she spoke after a very long time blushing attractively, "We can retire soon if we have somebody like you. We will go to a faraway place and stay together. You look after your spoiled wife, I'll pamper my lovely husband. We will grow lots of greens and vegetables for us and live freely."
