Chapter 666 - Self-destructed everything in my hands

Sam who had left checked the sports club and the secret room but there was an empty resting bed and the top highly functional medical supplies. He had heard about the medicines when he was in a military hospital but never got a chance to check it. He understood Jai was not a simple undercover police officer. He was an undercover of central intelligence which carries out very risky jobs without name or fame keeping their life at stake. He quickly left the sports club to go to the Barton mansion.

Sky went to the shared apartment and knocked on the door. A man in late twenties opened the door, "Yes?"

"Excuse me!" Sky entered and looked around before going near the password-locked door.

"Hey! Who are you? Who do you want?" The same man asked but he saw Sky punching password and enter the room and closed without answering him. He went back to his room ignoring her.

Sky saw inside completely and found a laptop. She punched the laptop password which she knew Jai always used, the desktop screen had a text file and opened it, 'My little sister, Enter the wrong password after restarting to destruct.'

Sky bit her lip and restarted to enter the wrong password. She controlled herself not to get weak. Jai had clearly told her never to visit any of his places so seeing him prepared, she followed as mentioned.

After seeing 'Self-destructing....' She left the room and the confirmed door was locked before leaving the apartment to go next place.

It repeated the same in the other two places and by that time Sky had called Loran five times and he didn't receive the call. She didn't want to think too much and called Alex on the way. Alex didn't answer either. She called Arlo and spoke before he could respond, "Arlo, do you have your people in city M?"

Arlo's voice sounded in the speaker on the car, "Sky, what's wrong? I will get your work done."

The traffic signaled turned red and she stepped on brakes and replied, "Loran and his assistant aren't answering my call. I'm getting scared."

A worried tone sounded, "Sky, he must be busy, He will call you back don't worry. I will ask to check about him."

Sky hummed and hung up as soon as the signal turned green, Sky sped off towards the Barton house.

Arlo furrowed his brows looking at abrupt call disconnection. Sam noticed and asked, "Did Sky get any lead?"

Arlo dialed a number as he answered Sam, "Loran and his assistant aren't answering the calls. She asked me to look about it."

"What is Loran doing?" Arlo asked as soon as he heard 'Hello'

Sam noticed Arlo's face turn darker each second he heard the response. "When the hell were you thinking to report to me if I didn't call you?..."

Sam immediately stood up hearing his grave tone. He thought only Jai was in trouble, now from Arlo's voice, he understood both brothers were in problem.

"Keep that local gang under control until my orders. I want Loran's complete report. Anymore mistake, I will make sure you don't see the sunrise again." Arlo understood Sky's intuition was accurate.

Sam turned Arlo towards him and demanded, "What happened to Loran?"

Arlo was explaining whatever he got to know but he stopped when Sky entered. "Where are Mom and Dad?"

"They are in the farmhouse." Arlo suppressed all the emotions and answered.

Sky nodded and ran upstairs to the library, Arlo and Sam followed but Sky locked the door as soon as she entered. Sky tried to check if there was anything as secret room as Jai always spent maximum time in the library but she found nothing and she couldn't check all the books.

Within three minutes she bolted out and entered Jai's room where Sam and Arlo followed in. Sky opened multiple drawers continuously and found the bug detector.

"Sky!" Both helplessly called her.

"I'm sorry" She again locked the library room door and checked every corner until it beeped. She threw all the books in that block and saw a fingerprint scanner. Sky wasn't sure if it could open by her fingerprint but she still tried with the thumb.

A robotic voice sounded, 'Keep your right-hand ring finger for the scan.'

Sky followed it and pressed her ring finger. Again there was one more command, 'Keep your left-hand middle finger.'

Sky followed again and heard Jai's voice, 'Litte sister' due to which her tears started rolling down on her cheeks as a few blocks of bookshelf started to move.

Sky quickly entered the password and checked the logs and history which was completely clear and found nothing. There were no files either. Sky checked the log files and understood the information was completely destructed a few minutes back she entered the Barton mansion.

Sky was trembling profusely as her tears rolled down. Not understanding what to do, she tried to analyze whenever Jai talked about electronic devices and software security or related things.

Sky furrowed her brows when she realized. Everywhere she used the password Jai always told her and she used them. Jai destructed all the data about everything by Sky and she followed everything however he set. So there was no way she would get anything and no way he would leave a clue scaring Sky would try her hundred and ten percent to reach him.

Sky stood up and closed the secret entry and took lots of deep breaths to remain calm and think.

She bolted out and announced, "Brother Jai self-destructed everything in my hands. No clues. nothing. Whenever I gave a password, it welcomed me with my name and he asked to give the wrong password and everything destroyed. Sam... could... could you have hacked if I didn't try with the password? Did I make a mistake?"

Arlo and Sam saw her swollen eyes which weren't there when she entered inside. Arlo rubbed her back and Sam replied to her, "He had set your authentication purposefully and asked you to give the wrong one so... I'm sure if I tried to hack it would have self-destructed itself. You didn't make any mistakes... Any plans?"

Sky bit her lip and shook her head. "Brother Jai purposefully blocked all paths so that I shouldn't reach him."

They couldn't ask the administration as they would never care and would deny to give any information out. Without any leads, they couldn't check anywhere or everywhere.

Sam held her trembling hands, "Sky relax first! Stop thinking about your brother's life. Think as it's somebody troubling you and you have to resolve it."

Sam knew Sky very well knew about Jai's behavior. If she worries about Jai's life and thinks, worries won't let her think in deep. So he had to change her view and that pressure would work on her.

Sky nodded at Sam as Arlo hugged her. "Sky, you have to be strong now. We know you can reach brother. So think calmly."

Sky took a deep breath and started thinking about how Jai used to behave whenever he was getting new cases and what he would do before leaving the home to resolve it.

Arlo and Sam knew the confidentiality of Jai's case so they were sure if Sky didn't find the solution, they never could reach Jai.
