Chapter 553 - Doll's Past (3)

"Andy! What time are we leaving? Shall I come near the apartment or will you pick me on the way?" An excited voice of a girl sounded on another end of the call.

Andy remembered he was taking Hana to meet his parents. "I will pick you on the way. No need to travel back and forth." His emotionless voice heard.

"What's wrong? Is your workload high? Did you eat?..." A concerned voice sounded but it reminded him of Sky.

A self-mocking smile appeared on his face. "Hana! Got to go. I will call you in the evening." He hung up after finishing.

After a few seconds, he got a message, "Take care"

He didn't reply and went back to his floor. While exiting the restroom, he heard the low voice of a female followed by a male voice from the kitchen.

'...You know nothing other than kissing me all the time.' Her voice didn't carry any hint of anger or annoyance.

'I need my dessert Ms.President...' Andy left without continuing to hear.

After some time, Sky entered her office nonchalantly as she always does. She just nodded at Clara and Andy when they greeted.

Arlo went to his table after instructing cleaner. He noticed Andy taking glances every now and then. He took his few files and laptop and went to Sky's room.

He sat opposite her and both worked without disturbing the other one but still would steal glances at the other one. He diverted all his intercom calls to Clara and that's how both started to work on the same desk.

Both left early to Harley mansion and packed their bags. Arlo packed the bags would be appropriate as Sky enjoyed the service of her husband. After early dinner both left.

David nagged both before letting them go. Ryan was rolling on the floor imagining Arlo. Since both reached the Carlton lake at sunset time, both enjoyed the view before leaving there to Town A.

--

Andy who returned to his apartment, Left in his second-hand car which he had brought recently for convenience. On the way, he picked Hana and left for Town A.

When they neared the Harley resort, He was telling about it to Hana when his eyes fell on the known car. 'Aston Martin' Sky's car.

Then! he noticed two figures. One was a tall, sturdy and imposing yet striking figure leaning on the car wounding his hand around the woman's shoulder. Whereas he saw Sky's other side which he never saw before. She had wounded her hands around his waist standing by his side as her head rested on his chest and both their eyes were on the west.

If it was with her brothers or her normal behavior, she would sit on the car top to watch the view which he knew well. He couldn't see her face in the beginning. When the car went ahead he checked in the rearview mirror. Even though it wasn't clear, he could tell she had a beautiful arc on her face.

Hana shook his hand to get a response as she called him multiple times, "Why did you stop? Continue."

Andy tried to shook off his thoughts and continued explaining until he saw Sky's car sped away in the next lane after some time. "Hana! Enough of talking. Let's enjoy the ride silently."

Hana agreed right away. She was a very simple girl. She cherished what she gets. She ignored his past and asked for the second time to the same person to date. Andy took the time and agreed to date her.

When his mother got to know, she called them home multiple times. But either one of them would be busy hence couldn't go. When they finally got a chance, she didn't understand why he was falling silent whenever she said anything.

Being an understandable and adjustable, she didn't pest him and let him have his way. The rest of their two more hours' journey was quiet.

Sandra was very happy for his son. She knew Hana from the time Andy studied so they got along really well. Stefan didn't give much of a reaction and he hoped his son to live a happy life however he wants.

Gill family excluding Rony spent their time with Hana till Monday morning. Andy who had a foul mood on Friday was normal from Saturday.

During dinner on Sunday, Sandra casually asked, "Are you two seriously considering the relationship? or just knowing each other to think about if you two can be together."

Her usual arrogance was nowhere to be found. Changes in her were not oblivious to Stefan or Andy. Before Andy could reply Sandra, Hana responded, "Aunty! We two will decide and let you know soon. Don't worry "

Sandra nodded as a response. she wanted to say something but Stefan stopped her. After finishing dinner, Andy asked Hana to go with him to the terrace for talking.

When they reached the terrace, Hana spoke without letting a chance to speak to him. "Andy! I know you need time and you aren't ready to love anyone. Don't reject me for that. I'm sure my love for you is enough for us to stay happy. I don't want to pressure you to make a decision. I have waited for years and a few more days or weeks or months doesn't matter to me."

Hana patted on his shoulder and left downstairs. Andy sighed and sat on a chair watching the dark sky full of stars. His thoughts were complex throughout the time and left to his room after a long time.

Sky and Arlo reached the Barton mansion. Sky was nervous instead of Arlo and the latter was calming her while entering inside. They were welcomed by Barton brothers.

Sky greeted and hugged both brothers before asking, "Where is grampy?"

"Sister Sky! He is waiting for you in the living hall." Loran pointed inside.

Arlo nodded at both as a greeting and followed Sky. He saw a man in mid-seventies sitting like an Emporer in his white semi-formal suit with a cane beside him.

He saw Sky stretching her right hand at him instead of greeting. "Doll! You are married and a grown-up. Why are you still asking candy?"

His tone sounded reprimanding but his expression was gentle with a doting gaze on Sky.

Sky moved her hand again as she hummed. He took out candy and handed her. Arlo thought she would talk now but her left hand extended at him. He doubted if she was his wife or some kid asking for candies from grandparents.
