Chapter 544 - That's enough

"They left. I am waiting for you." Sky told the truth and held a designer biker leather jacket in hand.

"If you don't like this hat look, wear this." Sky said as she waved it at him. Since he didn't take it, she was happy that he liked the style.

Sam understood it wasn't just dinner. "What's cooking in your head?" Sam asked as Sky led him out.

"Nothing!" Sky said and flashed him a smile.

Sam looked around, played the day's events in his mind but he couldn't come to conclusion until Sky made him take stairs to descend one floor and diverted their direction to the banquet hall.

"Sky! Why are we going there?" Lights were turned off in banquet hall so he couldn't really put a finger on it as the hall was too big for less than fifteen members. His fellow mates didn't even let out even a single clue.

"To check out." Sky entered inside with him.

"If you don't like, you can act as you liked." Sky said and lights turned on with a round of applause.

Sam looked around and stopped his gaze at Sky, "Seems like you are jobless."

He saw people from his school classmates to people he currently working with including his family. Sky had picked only important people from every stage so there were only thirty-five to forty guests.

Sky pinched the arms she was hooking her hand and said "I'm letting you off as many are watching... Enjoy the spotlight Birthday boy." Sky left his arm and went towards Arlo.

Sam smiled looking at her leave and met everyone. Everyone wished, complimented his look and small talked as a few asked, "Who is she who brought you here and arranged all these?"

He was smiling resignedly and say, "My Crazy Best Friend."

Sky was going towards Arlo, Mia went up to her from the side. "Sister Sky"

Sky carried her and asked where was his father. After giving him a two-finger salute as thank you, both went to Arlo who was sitting on the barstool looking at them.

After making Mia sit on the bar counter, Sky and Arlo heard Mia narrate her brother's stories. Mia and Sky would occasionally chuckle, Arlo would smile looking at the two rather than the story.

David who was with Daniel and Old master Cox heard the chuckles and looked at them. The sight warmed his heart.

Arlo was sitting on the stool as his hand wounded around Sky's shoulder who was standing right by his side. Mia was doing all sorts of actions saying something and she would giggle with Sky. They looked like a perfect family of three.

Daniel noticed David in a daze looking at Sky and the other two. He patted lightly on his arms, "Don't worry Chairman Harley. They will complete their family soon. By the way, have you asked them?"

Daniel knew how elders would start asking for grandchildren as he already experienced, so he asked.

David smiled, "Arlo said not to bring up the topic when it unexpectedly came up. He thinks she is young and should enjoy more. No need to add one more responsibility so soon."

Daniel smiled, "True!" After knowing Sky and hearing a few things from Sam, he knew she was handling everything alone. A big Corporation, house, taking care of everyone, keeping them happy and also pulling out some time for them.

But an old man was displeased, "Chairmain Harley, Haven't you heard 'a kid will make the bond stronger between parents.'? Educate them about it. Or else after some time, they will start fighting."

Daniel rolled his eyes and didn't reply. David laughed it off with a simple nod but he had no plan to educate anybody. He had dated for two years before marrying and having a child. Since he knew about Sky and Arlo, even he felt they must have some more time together.

The party was in full swing. Many started to move on the dance floor. Clark called Sky before going on. Seeing Sky stick on to him, Arlo said, "Go on!"

Sky looked at him and pouted, "But a certain someone will get jealous."

Arlo pinched on her cheek as he said, "I will get jealous. A little. But I'm still the home you return back to."

Her pout changed to a beautiful curve and asked for a hug. Arlo always liked how she raises her hand for the hug instead of wounding her hands around his waist.

His lips tilted up and bent a little without getting down from the barstool to let her wrap her hands around his neck before he straightened his back and hug her by sweeping her off the floor.

Sky whispered before releasing him, "You aren't dumb as much as I thought."

He chuckled before leaving her back on the floor. He was about to say something, he got one more request for a hug. "Me! Me! Me!..."

Sky giggled and went towards the dance floor where one had a dark face. "Ms.Sky, Aren't you too evil? You teach my wife how to beat me up and you are romancing with your husband in front of so many."

'It was just a hug okay?' Sky wanted to strangle Peter.

"Are you saying your married life isn't romantic? Tsk, Tsk" Sky started bullying him on the dance floor as he continued to retort.

When the music changed to slow, Peter gave up and brought his wife on the dance floor who was talking with Sanem. The latter danced with Jimmy, Clark danced with Sky.

Sam who was done with greeting everyone, met his fellow mates before saying to Clark. "I'm stealing our little President."

Before Sky or Clark could react, Sam had taken her hand and whirled her before standing in the basic dance step. Clark snorted and went off the floor.

Sky was surprised seeing him move to the music without anybody forcing him. "Wow! Are YOU dancing with me? Am I dreaming?"

Sam rolled his eyes looking at her exaggerating expression and moved his hand from her back to pinch her cheek hard, "What do you think?"

Sky rubbed her cheeks and pouted in displeasure. Sam teased, "So the Honeymoon period is back again."

Even though she was glaring at him, with the pinched cheeks, another cheek also turned red. It wasn't surprising to hear that from Sam as he was always sensitive towards her.

"Samuel Cox, are you looking for a beating when there is only half an hour for your birthday?"

Seeing blush, he wanted to stop but hearing her say, 'Beating' he couldn't help but chuckle. Sky knocked on his head, "That's enough."
