Chapter 483 - Don't I stand anywhere in her heart?(1)

Arlo successfully convinced her not to order lunch and he would prepare. If she didn't want to eat with him, she could eat alone. Since she agreed, she also decided to eat with him thinking he didn't like to eat alone.

Sky had lots of work including the previous week's work to do and numerous meetings in the week. Since Sam wasn't there, Arlo drove the car to the Harley mansion and Sky sat on the shotgun seat.

As soon as they reached, both greeted David and Olivia. Arlo went to Ryan's room straight away as he had to finish three weeks of work and many pending and stopped works.

Seeing him running to the second floor without sitting with Olivia for a few minutes, Sky thought to herself, 'Did I told you to come with me? Why are you running to him as if I had kidnapped you for so many days?'

David and Olivia knew about why Arlo went to Ryan's room so they didn't bother with him and spoke to Sky about her experience.

Sky changed to leisurewear before dinner. A maid called Arlo and Ryan but both asked dinner to be served in their room. Sky furrowed her brows after knowing it but didn't say anything.

She sat some more time with David and Olivia before going to her study. After finishing some work, She took a bath and slept in her room. Sky noticed Arlo didn't return.

Instead of getting angry, She was happy to get her full room back to her and slept happily. But when she woke up in the morning, she saw Arlo sleeping on another end of the bed with his duvet.

Sky hadn't kept pillows in between thinking he won't come and she wasn't sleeping on edge of the bed, She was almost near to the center but thankfully there was still a large gap between them.

'Are you pretending to be in my room? Well done.' Sky thought to herself before brushing and going to jog followed by her workout.

She saw him and Ryan in the gym. She left before them. When she went to the walk-in wardrobe after the shower, she saw a set of clothes with accessories was already arranged. She changed into them without thinking too much.

She was ready when Arlo walked out of the dressing room. Sky, as usual, walked out first and Arlo caught up with her. All had breakfast and two left with Sam. Ryan went to his office after them. This routine followed on for weeks.

Sky and Arlo rarely spoke much in the Harley mansion. Due to work, Sky used to carry files or a laptop to the kitchen, Sky and Sam were talking in the car.

Seeing a maid again taking their dinner to Ryan's room, Sky stopped her. "Grandmother! This is not a restaurant and I won't allow them to do this. One or two days or rarely is fine but not a routine. And you!"

Sky saw the maid before continuing, "Keep those here. If they want, they will come and eat here."

Then she turned to Butler, "Butler uncle! If they don't eat dinner today before you sleep, inform the chef not to cook dinner for them from tomorrow."

The maid and Butler had no option but to follow her orders.

Olivia was happy with her behavior. Even though she knew why they were eating in the room, it was still an insult to treat the home as an office or restaurant and it was their mistake to hide it from Sky and even asking them to hide.

David wanted to stop her but Olivia signaled him not to stop.

When Ryan was famished, he came out and got to know everything from the butler. He informed Arlo and both had dinner at the dining hall before going back to work.

Other days, they were coming to dinner on time before returning to work.

..

On Saturday, Without doing the work, Sky spent some quality time with both David and Olivia. After dinner, Sky read a book for Olivia in her room first before sending David to his room from watching television.

"Dad! Probably I will wake up very late tomorrow. Don't wait for me to eat. Tomorrow is my lazy day."

David knew how she was working a past week and what she meant by her lazy day, He didn't have any objection, "Sure. Have a proper rest. Goodnight"

"Sweet dreams!" Sky wished and went back to her room. After a long video call with the Barton family, she slept off.

--

In the beginning week, Arlo who was tired returned to the room at one o'clock. When he didn't see pillows in between on Monday, he was surprised but he still took his duet and slept. But from the next days, pillow lines appeared again.

Even he realized their conversation was very limited compared to their past and she always hummed for everything and rarely spoke.

After knowing they were allowed to eat in the room occasionally. He didn't object but in the conversation during eating, David, Olivia, and Sky always left them out as they would either carry forward what they spoke previous days of it would be about old people.

If Olivia or David asked them anything, Sky would never comment on it and would eat silently. Thinking they would be back on track after a few more days, he didn't think much about it.

After getting fresh, He slept on his side. The Sunday morning he woke up as usual and worked out. Sky was still sleeping when he got fresh and finished breakfast with the other three.

He knew Sky wakes up late on Sunday but she had woken up at eight but it was nine and she was still sleeping. He checked her temperature keeping his hand on her forehead which was normal.

He had thought to spend time with her and pushed his work to the following days. After pondering, he tried to wake her up. She just frowned and flipped as she continued to sleep.

He clicked on the button to open the window drapes to let her know it was late. Sensing too much light, Sky shouted in a groggy voice. "Close."

Arlo knew it was for drapes but he tried to wake her, "Sky! It's already late. Eat..." Then he got to know 'Close' command was not for him and drapes were electronically closing.

"... Eat first then you can sleep. It's not good to skip and eat at irregular times."
