Chapter 378 - Toy boys(1)

Sky replied calmly, "I have no such plans. At least I can test defense kills on humans than human bolsters."

"Insane!" Ryan commented and went towards the beach.

"Hare-brained!" Sam too followed Ryan out.

Sky was smiling awkwardly when Arlo got up and looked at her. Opposite to them, he rubbed on her head dotingly and smiled, "Silly"

Sky was dumbfounded. Since three went, she took her mobile and followed them having nothing to do.

During the day, they hardly could hear the waves sound till the house. As they went near they could hear it clearly. Since it was afternoon summer, the sun was blazing making them squint their eyes. Sky started to feel hot hence she tied her hair in a bun.

After seeing the lounges under the shade, she thought to sit there but trio took the best places leaving the left side lounge which was under sunny and a half under shade to her.

"You guys are soo mean." She snorted and went towards the tree which was bent and its branches were touching the ground.

Seeing her climbing the tree, Sam had no choice but to go near the tree if in case she trips and falls or does some circus. But she reached the highest branch and sat looking around leaning on the tree trunk.

"I didn't know you were a monkey." Sam sat below a branch where Sky was sitting.

"Smaller monkey than you." She agreed to him. Since it was a private beach, except for four, nobody was present on the beach.

Sam glanced at her every now and then. He was sure she was still down and thinking about past events. Hence he kept her busy in small talk...

They had to go back to the house when she received the call from Joe. On the way back, Sky heard Ryan snoring and decided to disturb him. She had to take revenge for his yelling yet.

"Tsunami!" She shouted near his ear and ran towards the house.

Ryan who was sleeping thought it as real and ran towards the house dragging Arlo by his hand without even looking at the beach. Hearing his hysterical shouts, Sky stopped and saw him panicking and dragging Arlo towards her to go inside.

Thinking he may bump into her, she left space and saw him dashing inside the house. She was confused about whether to laugh or cry at his reaction. "Funny man!" she told to herself and entered the house to see huffing Ryan. Arlo was giving him a glass of water to calm him.

"Did you get a nightmare?" Sky asked and looked outside where the security had stopped Joe.

She signaled them to leave him inside. She didn't know there was one more person with Joe until they entered the gate.

She froze looking at the man walking towards her using a cane. She knew Old master Milton stayed in Nation S with Joe hence she flatly rejected to go his place when she got the call from Joe.

She thought he would come alone but she never thought Joe would bring him along. She already had very conflicted emotions about Miltons. She wasn't ready to face her grandfather who threw his daughter out just because she loved David.

Even if they realized their mistakes, what were they doing till now for twenty plus years? and why were they popping in front of her now?

Sam saw Joe and his grandfather before entering the house. He knew well that old master Milton would meet her in nation S and that was the main reason why David agreed to her visit to Nation S. He saw Sky who had clenched her fist and glared outside without a hint of any emotion on her face.

"Little sister." Joe reached her first and hugged her, "Sorry! I'm late."

Sky didn't give any response and went inside before old master Milton even reached her.

Seeing her going upstairs, Sam stopped her holding her hand. "Aren't you going to greet your grandfather?" Sam asked. David had asked him to try to convince her to talk to old master Milton.

"I don't have any such grandparents to greet." Sky's icy cold tone reached everyone's ear.

Old master Milton paused after entering the door. Joe expected her to react but that was stronger than what he faced.

"Let me go." Sky voice wasn't loud this time.

Sam thought he could convince her and spoke, "Sky, you should listen to them first before you decide yourself. Think before you act."

" Leave. My. Hand. " This was the rude behavior from her to Sam after they started to get along well. Even though she always bantered or fought with him, she was never rude to him.

He instantly left her hand and looked at her.

Sky took a step and realized she shouldn't have reacted like that to him. She turned back and faced him, "I'm really sorry for my behavior. My mood... is already sensitive, I really don't want to talk to him. Please. Not today. Please"

Her voice was meek and she was pleading. Only three heard her. Joe and his grandfather were still near the door. People who didn't know her properly would think her as cold-hearted. Only who knew her well knew how fragile she was.

Sam clenched his fist and nodded at her. She forced a faint smile ran upstairs as tears started to fall.

She locked her door and started crying. She didn't know whether she was crying because of the Miltons showing up one after the other or due to morning incident or due to her life which was becoming a mess as time passed.

She never wanted to be big or famous or rich. She justed to live happily with her brothers and parents. David showed up, her life started to change. She still accepted everything wholeheartedly by the end. But it started to get messier.

She opened Jai's contact to call him but it would be night in Country A hence she stopped. Not knowing how long she had cried, she started to feel her head heavy and raised her face from the pillow and turned around.

She got scared seeing Arlo leaning on french windows holding a thermos flask. She threw a pillow at him and patted on her chest.

She knew how she would look after crying upon that her hair would be messy.
