Chapter 184 - Are they real bullets?

"Sir, This is a fast selling light. If you lose this time, You may not get again." Salesboy used his brain to sell the lights.

Sky knew this was a way of selling things so that customers buy it. But she still didn't want to lose the beautiful star-shaped lights. She thought for a minute before speaking.

"Pack ten lights." Sky said and turned to Sam who was sulking. "Your girlfriend or Wife will die instead of going shopping with you."

Sam ignored and stood rooted. Sky went to pay, but their card payment machine lost the connection. Luckily she had cash and paid it. Two salesboys carried a box each and Sam took the other box.

While going towards the elevator, Sky, and Sam both noticed people gathered near the cash counter in every shop. Sky randomly commented, "I couldn't pay by the card in that shop too. They were saying connection lost. Probably the same in these shops too."

Sam scrunched his brows and glanced once inside the shops next to him, Indeed they were saying they couldn't connect to the server. He fished his mobile from the pocket and checked there was no network.

"Sh*t Jammers." Sam cursed and looked at Sky who was ahead by several steps.

"Sam, Why are they running towards us? They are signaling and saying something?" Sky turned around and said a little loudly so that Sam could hear who was lagged behind.

Peter and Jimmy were running towards them waving their hands diagonally and saying something. Due to the noise around Sky couldn't understand anything.

Sam narrowed his eyes and read their lips and watched their actions. "Hide, Hide,... Lay down lay down."

Jammer and their reaction meant them is a danger. Sam threw the box aside and ran towards Sky. She didn't notice his expression and saw the box, "What's wrong? Why did ..."

Sam pulled her towards him as he heard bullets sound. He rolled on the floor holding her and reached a small gap between the shops.

Sky hand was hit to the edge of the wall and started bleeding a little. It took her time to realize those were bullets sound. Sam looked around her, "Are you hurt? Did you get hit?"

"Are.. are they real bullets?" Sky asked and suddenly replied after seeing him worry, "I'm fine, Just a small scratch."

Bullets sound didn't stop even after five minutes, people were screaming continuously. Sky tried her best to be calm and not to make any sound but her hands were trembling very badly and she was clenching her teeth.

Sam was peeking every now and then as he was shielding Sky. Initially, he was calm looking at her indifference but when he noticed her trembling and clenched Jaw, he turned to her and held her hands.

He made eye contact and realized she was petrified and not even blinking her eyes and holding her breath. "Sky, Trust me. Nothing will happen to you. You have to be strong now. okay?"

Even though she felt like her heart would pop out any time soon, after listening to him, she felt little ease and gulped her saliva and nodded. She took a long breath through her mouth and tried not to distract him.
