Chapter 148 - Don't tell me you like that girl, Sky!

Sky smiled, "You know me better than my Dad. He still thinks I loved him or maybe still love him." Sky cupped her face supporting her hands-on table with a puppy face and teased, "Sam! Do you love me so much?"

Sam's doubt was cleared but he was speechless, "That's because I'm a psychiatrist and I was there in your past. I didn't investigate you." Sam said nonchalantly and asked the waiter for another coffee.

"What do you mean by you were there in my past?" Sky couldn't understand what he meant.

"Were you appointed when dad met me the first time?" Sky asked another question.

"No, once you said you chose to protect me not another way around, what do you mean by that?" Sky asked one more and looked at him.

Sam shook his head resignedly and smiled. But before he could talk, A voice heard behind him. "Ms.Sky"

Sky raised her head and saw Andy standing, She gave a small nod and cued him to sit. Andy sat on the chair and asked, "Ms.Sky, anything you would like to instruct me?

Sky shook her head and called a waiter for Andy to order. Later Sky spoke amiably to which Andy was puzzled.

"What happened when I left the Barton house or should I put it as what happened after your marriage?" Sky asked.

"Ms.Sky, Why are you ..." Andy stuttered and was confused about why she suddenly took that topic.

"I met your ex-wife twice. In B-city and here today." Sky said and watched his reaction.

Andy paled and looked at Sky, He got to know Sky knew about their divorce. "I didn't plan to hide it from you. I just felt it that's not an important matter."

"I will come straight to the point. If you don't want to tell it means it's ok. I got to know about your divorce from him when Savanna insulted me." Sky pointed her chin towards Sam who was acting as busy on his phone.

"I know you never share anything with your parents. I'm here to act as a hole in the tree. If you want, you can tell me and lighten your burden. Else you can leave." Sky finished saying looked at him.

Andy hesitated and looked at Sam and Sky. Sky noticed him, "Probably Sam knows everything about your things better than you, so his presence may help you to clear your thoughts." Sky finished saying and looked at Sam.

Sam stood up, "You guys carry on, I will sit there." Sam pointed out another table.

"Sit." Sky said a word to him and turned to Andy, "If you say it or not will not affect your job. I just want to respect my seven years ."

Andy took a deep breath and reminisced about his past.

--

Sandra Gill scowled at Andy, "Why are you rejecting every girl we are showing? Are you dating anybody? Don't tell me you like that girl Sky. She isn't suited to our home."

Andy massaged his temples, "Mom, She is my best friend. And I don't like anyone. I'm just twenty-seven, what is the hurry?"

"Do you want to get married when you are old? You should marry by the end of this year. Select one girl from these pictures otherwise, I will leave the house forever."
