The original version of the Alterac Valley did not have reinforcements.

In that version, it's usually not the tactics but the number of people who decide the victory or defeat. Because there is no concept of reinforcements, the whole battle field of Aoshan is likely to be fought from day to night, and there is no concept of cross server battle field at that time. For those servers with unbalanced camp, the number of people who fight until midnight is not enough, so the victory or defeat is divided.

A series of reforms have been carried out in the later version of Alterac Valley, mainly in two aspects:

the first is the comprehensive weakening of various complex mechanisms in the valley, including the removal of most neutral NPCs, the weakening of guard attributes, and the non emergence of many powerful summonable NPCs.

The second is to add the concept of reinforcements, so that the combat time of each round of Aoshan is controlled.

On the whole, this change tends to speed up the pace of the battlefield. After all, a battlefield can't be played from day to night, so it's hard to say how good the game experience is.

Moreover, the honor reward of the battlefield mainly comes from the key nodes of occupying the stronghold and winning. The alliance and the tribe are locked in an endless stalemate on the battle plain, neither side can get too many honor points, which is a serious waste of time.

In the initial design, Aoshan's design idea is a large-scale interactive PVE game, in which the PVP content only accounts for a part. Players need to complete various tasks and have a key impact on the battlefield through many key NPCs.

For example, after the player rescues the air force commander, he / she turns in all kinds of items, and when he / she has enough, he / she will hear the air force roar and fly to the air space of the opponent to start bombing.

Or players can capture their own animals and kill enemy animals (the alliance is sheep, the tribe is wolf) in the corral administrator, and then they can summon their own cavalry troops to charge.

In addition, it can also call special forces to support, upgrade military defense, and even call the ultimate unit to command the battlefield.

After turning in enough League soldiers' blood or storm crystals, the druids will come to the battle plain, and the players will assist them in the calling ceremony, calling the king of forest Ivers or the king of ice and snow lockhola.

That is to say, that version of the Aoshan battlefield is not a simple battle between the alliance and the tribal players, but a lot of means to improve the combat power of the friendly forces to win the normal war.

Of course, it sounds good, but in fact, with the change of versions, there are some problems.

Because it will take a lot of time to complete these tasks. Take the mechanism of summoning cavalry as an example. Players need to spread out to catch wolves and kill sheep. After collecting various items, they have to run back and hand them in. So there is a contradiction:

If NPC's strength is relatively weak, the opposite players will gather directly to pull your sentry tower, and then you are still collecting things , and then they are pierced by a wave; if NPC is very strong, both sides will spend their lives to collect resources, and the battlefield will become a war between NPC, and the time of the battlefield will be multiplied, which is against the goal of speeding up the pace of the battlefield.

So later, these complex mechanisms have basically become unpopular. The alliance and tribes tend to attack and defend in a fast-paced way. Each player is particularly important. To collect these things by hand is to slow down the pace.

Therefore, Chen Mo's version of Alterac Valley still retains the NPC mechanism, but adds the concept of reinforcements. After all, if a battle is fought all night, it doesn't make sense. For example, the league is obviously at a disadvantage, and then it sticks to the bridge. As a result, neither side can win. It sounds like a passion, but it's not the same thing to fight.

As soon as Chen Mo saw it, there were about 100 reinforcements left in the alliance and more than 400 tribes left, which was too tragic.

It's not to say that the alliance is weak. There are many reasons why the tribes were dominant in the battlefield in the early stage. Because considering the beauty of the tribe, most of the players who choose the tribe at the beginning are pure men who like to cry and kill people. The Party of appearance and the Party of scenery generally do not choose the tribe. So in the beginning, the cohesion of the tribe was higher.

Of course, the later version of the alliance is so dominant that the conquest island has become the alliance Island, which is another afterword.

Obviously, this battle belongs to the battle with great strength between the two sides. At the beginning, the League lost many towers so unwittingly that it can only retreat to the bridge now. The commander obviously didn't know about the battlefield. Fortunately, he was still more conscientious and had been brushing the screen hoping that everyone would hurry back to the bridge to defend.

The bridge is well defended because the terrain of the alliance is loose outside and tight inside. The defense line of one tower and two towers can be said to be riddled with holes, but the bridge here is absolutely easy to defend and hard to attack. Anyway, all kinds of Blizzard, fire rain and long-range skills throw madly at the bridge, let alone the tribe, and even a fly is difficult to fly over.

The two sides are so deadlocked, but although the alliance has kept the bridge, because of the existence of the aid mechanism, the tribes trade three heads for one head of the alliance, which is the tribal win.

Chen Mo sent a message on the battlefield channel: "give me the leader of the battlefield."

He was afraid that the current leader of the battlefield didn't see it, and brushed it twice.

As a result, the title will be changed to him in the next second. Obviously, the former leader of the battlefield is eager to come out and carry the pot.Chen Mo quickly divided the current team into teams 7 and 8, and the thieves and druids were all thrown into teams 7 and 8. The team in front also basically focused on career matching to ensure that each team has a long-range career and a therapy career.

"All of you follow me. Team 1234 continues to guard the bridge. Team 56 follows me to the bridge and covers team 78. Team 78, you've sneaked through the tribal defense line for me, and don't fight when you meet anyone. You've been giving me the next command to sneak to the middle of the battle plain, keep sneaking and so on. "

"You are still outside. If you are a sneaker, you will go straight to the plain, if not, you will die quickly. Come on, move. "

Chen Mo said, while the tactical arrangements in the form of text in the battlefield channel.

It has to be said that the title of battlefield leader still works. Most leagues are already waiting to lose, because they think they can't win in such a fight, and can't retreat (there will be a debuff of deserters after retreating). Now they see that there is such a tough command, and they start to move spontaneously.

Although many people are still lazy and don't know what they are doing, at least those league players on the side of the bridge are all assembled according to Chen Mo's requirements.

Now the tribe has occupied the leimao cemetery opposite the bridge. The resurrection point of both sides is very close, which is also separated by a bridge. So Chen Mo can't venture out. In case the first wave doesn't rush down and is carried by the tribe, even if Chen Mo can't play again.

Most of the stealth professions of the 78 team are at home, and some of them have sneaked out and scattered around. Others were waiting for Chen Mo's order behind the bridge, waiting for team 56 to rush forward, and they secretly touched the gap between the pulled tribal lines.

Although I don't know if it's still useful to resist now, since it's already like this, I'll try it.
