«A monster?”

A monster at this light of day? Almark doubted Cicily's words for a moment. But there was no time to waste.

«Cicily, what kind of a monster is this?”

Almark gently grabbed Cicily's shoulders with both hands and asked in a very calm voice so not to scare her.

“I don't ...... know what type of ......, It's big and scary ."

Cicily answered with a shrug, but she didn't give a clue

"What color was it? Did it look like a person or beast ? "

Almark asks patiently. He wanted to get the bare minimum of information , and then run into the forest as fast as he could.

"I don't know. I was too scared to get a good look at ......."

Сicily shakes her head. Almark crouches down and makes eye contact with Cicily.

“You're a magician, aren't you?. I will save Eldo. I promise. So try to tell me what you saw."

Cicily reacted to the word "magician. She looked at Almark with big, tear-stained eyes. Almark looked back into her eyes and nodded.

Sicily hesitated a little and then answered carefully .

"I think he had ...... brown, furry,...... about the height of a middle-schooler,...... with one eye and horns,......."

'Thank you Sicily.'

Almark stood up.

“Go back to the school building and tell to teacher about it . , I'll go to the forest . You can go on your own , right?”

Sicily nodded stoutly.

" All right, hurry up,"

Almark looked back toward the school building and saw the usual trio approaching him.

"Torque!"

Almark suddenly called out his namesso loudly that Torque and the other stopped in their tracks. But Torque immediately responded in a sarcastic tone,

"What, are you playing with a kids again? It suits you."

"Eldo has been kidnapped by monster!"

Almark continued, without paying attention to Torque's words.

"Monster ? "

I'm going to the forest . You call the teacher . And take care of this girl, Sicily.

"Wait! I can't understand what you're talking about!"

He hurriedly interrupted him, but Almark continued.

"You go back to the school building and get the teacher, I'll go to the forest “

"We have no time to waste , if what this girl saw is true, we're in a sensitive situation. I don't have time to explain everything to you."

Torque looked at Almark with a stunned look on his face.

“Boy was kidnapped by monster ......, and you will go to the forst alone ......?"

I”'m going to save Eldo . I will defeat the demons if it's come to that ."

Almark answered shortly .

"Let's defeat it together ......."

Torque parroted.

Almark turned and ran toward the forest, saying, "I am count on , Torque," with one word.

Torque looked at Almark as he head off , his face suddenly twisted , and he clicked his tongue. He looked back at Garain and Deg, who were stunned.

'You guys, go with this first year girl . Then go get the teacher. ASAP."

"What?"

They are rolled their eyes at the unexpected words.

"What about you ?"

When they asked back, the torque was already on the way to forest

"That idiot who thinks he can do everything by himself , but doesn't know a thing about this forest. I've got no choice but to head there myself!"
