"Go to sleep! If I find out that you're still staring at me, I won't let you have an easy time tonight!" Xia Zhe said without looking up from the documents.

Qiao Mei dived under the blanket and fell asleep not long after. She was so tired as she did not sleep well at all recently. Now that Xia Zhe was around, she felt more at ease than ever.

It was not until dinnertime that Xia Zhe woke Qiao Mei up. They were in the suburbs where there were no restaurants or supermarkets around. If they missed the meal served at the canteen, Qiao Mei would probably have to starve through the night.

After Qiao Mei and Xia Zhe finished dinner, Qiao Mei still felt very sleepy. Xia Zhe carried Qiao Mei back to the lounge to rest. He still had a lot of documents to deal with.
