"Do you need me to come and pick you up later? I'm worried that it's not safe for you to go back by yourself," Chen Mu said, frowning as he thought of the man from earlier.

"It's fine. I'll call you if I need anything, but I have to trouble you to go to my workplace to bring my bicycle home. I still need it to go to work tomorrow!" Xia He said with some frustration.

"Got it. Be careful." After saying that, Chen Mu watched Xia He enter the small restaurant and then went to move the bicycle back to Qiao Mei's house as Xia He had instructed.

Xia He looked at the clothes that she was wearing. She had wasted all the time she took to pick out such nice clothes.

"Who is this person?"

"Is she on our list?"

"I don't know. Do any of you know her? Is she anyone's family member?"

The people there looked at Xia He as they talked among themselves. Xia He had transferred out from the school a long time ago and did not make many good friends when she was in this class. Her friends were all people she met later in the art school.

Xia He stood nervously in the middle of the hall. She felt like a clown that everyone was laughing at. She was sure that no one would remember her even if she told them her name.

Song Dan had probably lied to her. No one seemed to remember her, so why would anyone invite her?

"You are all already here!" Song Dan walked in happily from the main door. Xia He remained standing without turning around until Song Dan came to her side.

"Why haven't you found a seat? Come and sit over there with me!" Song Dan said warmly.
