Tian Jing forcefully pushed aside Shan Yue, covering her mouth as she sprinted towards the main gate, her face flushed with embarrassment. Her actions were too swift; Shan Yue couldn’t catch her in time. Tian Jing had already run several meters away when she called out Tian Jing’s name and hurriedly followed her.

Shen Tiantian bit her lip, giving Shan Yi a stern look. “It’s all because of you.”

She messed up a perfectly good situation for little Aunt.

Shan Yi wore an innocent expression. “I had no idea you’d react so strongly.”

Well, she did it on purpose.

“And you’re still talking.” Shen Tiantian glared at her. Her previously crouched body now stood upright. Despite wanting to go inside, the thought of the suffocating atmosphere in the house made her change course, and she headed towards the back garden with determined steps.

Shan Yi touched her nose, domineeringly wrapping her arm around Shen Tiantian’s waist. “Don’t be fooled by Little Aunt’s appearance; she’s thick-skinned in private. You don’t need to worry.”

“Who’s worried?” Shen Tiantian rolled her eyes but, in the next second, her expression changed. It became somewhat complicated as she said, “Manager Tian suddenly approached me earlier, talking about things related to Little Aunt, but didn’t mention why they broke up.”

“You’ve been talking about them all night; I might get jealous.” As she spoke, her tone had already taken a sour turn.

Shen Tiantian: …..

How did she not notice before that her family’s CEO had such thick skin? And she dared to mention Shan Yue?! It was truly both amusing and exasperating.

“Alright, let’s not talk about them.” Shen Tiantian smirked and rubbed her stomach. “Since we’re idle now, why don’t we think about the baby’s name?”

“Sure.” Shan Yi checked the time on her phone. “After that, let’s head back after walking around.”

“By the way, don’t you need to connect with Uncle and the others?” Shen Tiantian inquired.

Shan Yi snorted lightly. “A bunch of old men, what’s there to chat about?”

“What about that Shan Ming….uh, no.” Shen Tiantian felt a bit impolite and quickly corrected herself, “Your cousin, is she some kind of celebrity?”

“No, just a model.”

Shen Tiantian tilted her head, saying: “I just feel like I’ve seen her somewhere.”

In reality, she wanted to mention that Shan Ming looked at her with hostility, wondering if she had offended someone before. But considering the person in question was her little sister, if she mentioned it, what if they thought she was trying to sow discord?

Shan Yi replied indifferently, “Maybe you saw her in a magazine; she’s quite famous in the industry.”

Turning the conversation back around, Shan Yi felt exasperated. She tightened the arm around her waist. “Alright, thinking about the baby’s name is more interesting.”

Alright. Shen Tiantian wrinkled her nose and walked quietly with Shan Yi on the small pebble path in the backyard. They walked slowly, and in the silence, she actually began to think about the baby’s name.

“You folks from your generation have single-character names. Is it the same for the baby’s generation?” she asked.

Caught off guard, Shan Yi, the first in her generation in the family to have a child, had never asked her father about this. However, since it was Shen Tiantian’s child, she softly countered: “Do you prefer a two-character name or a single-character name?”

Shen Tiantian fell into silence, pondering as they walked: “Either a two-character or a single-character name is fine…”

“It’s ok, let’s check the dictionary tomorrow; we shouldn’t rush into this.”

Thus, the discussion about the baby’s name once again ended without a conclusion.

Returning to the house, the elders and a few younger siblings1In Chinese culture, the children from your dad’s siblings are referred to as siblings instead of cousins because they share the same surname. had already left. The house returned to its quiet state, and Shen Tiantian was about to breathe a sigh of relief when laughter echoed from the tea room.

While she was puzzled, Mother Shan and Shan Ming walked out from inside. Shen Tiantian froze, not realizing that Shan Yi had subtly furrowed her brows.

“Big sister, sister-in-law,” Shan Ming sweetly greeted, smiling very demurely. “It’s been so long. Auntie asked me to stay, you guys won’t mind, right?”

Mother Shan repeatedly agreed, saying that Shan Ming rarely found time to come back and that she wanted her to stay and keep her company.

Shan Ming, with her doll-like face, was very beautiful, and her age of 25 was not apparent at all. As a model, her figure was also impeccable. At first glance, she gave off an impression of being very innocent, but for some reason, Shen Tiantian had an uneasy feeling about her.

She always felt that the way Shan Ming spoke seemed somewhat deliberate, and her words sounded like she was bragging, telling Shen Tiantian how good Shan Yi used to be to her. At first glance, her every move seemed polite, but it exuded a sense of superiority.

Shen Tiantian wondered if she was being too sensitive, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that Shan Ming harbored hostility towards her. Her first impressions were usually accurate.

Separating from Shan Yi’s embrace, she graciously assumed the role of a sister-in-law, “How could that be? We’re overjoyed, right, wifey?”

Shan Yi hesitated for a moment, then responded, “Yeah, we have plenty of guest rooms.”

Shan Ming stared intently at Shen Tiantian, suddenly smiling, “Thank you, sister-in-law. I won’t trouble you too much.”

Shen Tiantian gave a faint smile, rubbed her stomach, her complexion not looking too good. She turned to her mother-in-law and said, “Mom, the baby is getting restless. I think I’ll go upstairs first.”

“Go ahead, I’ll bring you some milk later,” Mother Shan immediately offered. “You’ve had a tiring day.”

“Thank you, Mom.”

Shan Yi naturally intended to accompany her wife. After all, it was their wedding night, and she couldn’t afford to miss it. As soon as they entered the room, before the door even closed, Shan Yi rushed over and embraced her.

“Wife, when did you learn to be bad?”

Shen Tiantian scowled. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“You did it on purpose just now.” Shan Yi stated rather than questioned.

Clearly, her wife had seen through the situation and deliberately said what she did.

“I’ll give you half a second to explain. Have you offended her?!” The question eventually came out. But on second thought, it seemed that Shan Ming’s hostility was only directed at her; she seemed fine with Shan Yi.

Learning from the previous lesson, Shan Yi immediately laid everything out, “She used to have a crush on me, but she’s my sister, and it will never change. Report complete, my wife.”

Indeed…..Just when she was still skeptical, she never expected it to be true. Shen Tiantian was left speechless in shock. After a while, she finally spoke, “You two are blood-related cousins!!!”

“Yeah, blood-related,” Shan Yi nodded, confirming their blood relation.

Shen Tiantian was stunned once again, unsure how to process this information. She still hadn’t fully digested the fact about Manager Tian and her little aunt being together.

Suddenly witnessing an increase in her wife’s IQ, Shan Yi was a bit taken aback. However, a clever wife was also adorable. Unable to resist, she leaned in and kissed her several times, attempting to divert her attention.

“Don’t kiss anymore.” Shen Tiantian laughed as expected, putting an end to that topic.

Shan Yi didn’t stop and continued kissing, murmuring: “Shall we take a shower? Hmm?”

“Ok.”

“Together, that kind of shower.”

“Okay.” Shen Tiantian was already accustomed to it. Suddenly remembering the promise she made to her, her face blushed unnaturally. “Just a simple shower?”

“We’ve never done anything in the bathroom,” Shan Yi chuckled.

“Move,” Shen Tiantian’s expression suddenly changed.

Shan Yi smiled worriedly: “You said tonight I can do whatever I want.”

Looking at her, Shen Tiantian suddenly felt something, and there was a warm sensation below, as if something had flowed out.

Realizing what it was, Shen Tiantian’s face instantly turned crimson.

It’s been mentioned in books that some people may be reserved before pregnancy, but during pregnancy, desires can become intense. She felt like she was experiencing this phenomenon. Being pregnant made her body feel strange. She felt both shy and a bit excited about what was going to happen tonight.

“Is it okay for the baby?!” That was still her biggest concern.

“Little aunt said after three months, it’s okay to do some exercise that is beneficial for future delivery.”

Shen Tiantian: …..

In the end, the couple entered the bathroom together and took the longest shower ever. It took two attempts, overturning the traditions they had used before. Shan Yi patiently tried two new positions.

By the time they came out, Shen Tiantian was completely exhausted and limp, her whole body flushed.

Back in bed, they followed the traditional way once again, and Shan Yi was satisfied only after that. Shen Tiantian was too worn out to even say goodnight and fell asleep with her head tilted.

Because they were too engrossed, they both missed the knocking on the door several times. The next day, when she woke up, she still felt a bit uncomfortable, and a certain area was still tingling.

She checked the time, and it was almost nine o’clock.

Today is a workday, and Shen Tiantian suddenly sat up from the bed, threw off the covers, and got out of bed. Her legs went weak, almost causing her to fall.

“You beast!!!” Shen Tiantian gritted her teeth and cursed.

“Why are you getting up so early? Come back and sleep a bit more.” At this point, Shan Yi also woke up. Seeing her wife getting out of bed, she immediately crawled over, intending to pull her back onto the bed.

Shen Tiantian gritted her teeth, “Today is a workday, CEO!”

“Take a break,” Shan Yi’s expression remained unchanged.

“I’ve already taken eight days off. Is the company our home?” Shen Tiantian complained.

Shan Yi nodded, “Yes, it’s our home.”

Shen Tiantian: …..

“If you go to work today, my dad will definitely scold me,” Shan Yi said helplessly: “When he found out you were pregnant, he hoped you wouldn’t work anymore. But he said he respected your decision, so he never mentioned it. He really treats you like a daughter. If you accidentally strain yourself, he will definitely hold me accountable.”

Shen Tiantian was stunned. It was the first time she had heard these words.

She couldn’t imagine the stern and formal Father Shan saying such words. Suddenly, she remembered Father Shan speaking up for her at the family banquet yesterday, and her heart was filled with a warm feeling.

Shan Yi added: “So, you need to take good care of your body and not let Mom and Dad worry about you.”

Shen Tiantian lowered her eyes, thinking about the kindness her in-laws had shown her during this time. Then, she quietly climbed back into bed.

A smile formed on Shan Yi’s lips, and she was about to reach out to hug her when a slender hand blocked her approach.

“Before asking me to take care of myself, shouldn’t someone reflect on themselves first?”

Who was the one responsible for her current condition?! Did she have any self-awareness at all?

Shan Yi chuckled. It seemed she had gone a bit too far last night, and now her wife was holding a grudge.

“It’s my fault,” she admitted.

Shen Tiantian lifted her sore legs and turned away from her.

They were both naked, having slept directly after their activities yesterday. Upon closer inspection, there was even a slightly sticky feeling. Shen Tiantian’s face turned even darker.

Because she had her back turned, Shan Yi didn’t see her wife’s expression and shamelessly pressed up against her again.

“Still uncomfortable?” Last night, she had only used two fingers the entire time, so there shouldn’t be any harm done.

This time, Shen Tiantian didn’t push her away. After a while, she softly said: “I want to take a bath.”

Shan Yi paused, suddenly understanding. She smiled and said: “Sure, I’ll carry you.”

Shen Tiantian responded with a muffled “Hmm,” but quickly became doubtful. She had gained some weight, and besides, Shan Yi was also a woman. What if she slipped?

“Can you handle it?”

Shan Yi picked her up, raising an eyebrow triumphantly: “What do you think?”

After all these times of carrying her, she had become quite adept at it.
