The next day, Shen Tiantian went back to work in the Marketing Department.

The office staff were actually quite gossip-prone. After her sudden absence for several days over the weekend, some people had been discussing it for quite some time.

Lu Xiaochun only knew that Shen Tiantian was with the CEO but had no idea about her pregnancy. These days, neither Shen Tiantian nor Shan Yi had come to work, so Lu Xiaochun assumed they were on a date.

Regarding Shen Tiantian’s relationship with the CEO, she hadn’t told anyone, and when later, Meng Yan came out of the restroom and saw their backs and started to suspect, but Lu Xiaochun subconsciously covered for them.

She truly considered Shen Tiantian her friend.

Suddenly, there was a commotion at the office entrance, and both of them looked over. Lu Xiaochun exclaimed, “Oh my God, here comes the CEO!”

Lu Xiaochun snorted softly, pushed her chair back with her feet, and silently returned to her own position.

“Manager Tian doesn’t seem curious about why Tiantian got pregnant,” Shan Yi said, looking intently at her.

“Since the CEO has made a decision, you could have just arranged for her to be transferred. Why bother coming here to discuss it with me?” Tian Jing suddenly chuckled and brushed back the hair falling on her forehead.

“After all, she’s your subordinate, and I should respect you, shouldn’t I?”

“Does that mean I can disagree?” 

Shan Yi looked at her calmly and smiled: “If Manager Tian disagrees, then I’ll have to come down here every day because my wife is here.”
