When she woke up again, the sky was already pitch-black. Shan Yi wasn’t beside her, and there wasn’t a trace of warmth left on the empty space beside her.

Shen Tiantian frowned and looked around.

Outside the French window on the lazy chair, Shan Yi was wearing a white bathrobe, with her legs crossed and her fingers holding a cigarette emitting wisps of smoke.

She couldn’t see Shan Yi’s expression, but her smoking action told her that she was awake.

Shen Tiantian lifted the blanket, and as soon as she moved, her leg muscles felt sore, and her brain quickly recalled what happened before she fell asleep.

She had done it with Shan Yi while being sober.

Shan Yi remained silent, holding her waist quietly. After a while, she said, “Are you hungry? Let’s order some food and eat before going to soak in the hot spring.”

Shen Tiantian gently touched her belly and then got up from Shan Yi’s lap.

Using the phone in the room, they called the farmhouse and Shan Yi carefully placed an order for several dishes and a soup.

Shen Tiantian’s appetite hadn’t been great lately, but as she heard the names of various dishes, she couldn’t help but lick her lips.

It seemed like she was even hungrier now.

Shan Yi waved at her. “Let’s watch some TV.”

Shen Tiantian had nothing else to do, so she picked up her phone from the table and walked over.

Shan Yi was amused by her reaction. “How about doing some exercise to help with digestion?”

“Go, go, go.” Shen Tiantian quickly released herself and walked briskly out of the room.

She was worried about Shan Yi, but it turned out Shan Yi was the one driving the car.

Shan Yi’s hearty laughter reached her ears, making Shen Tiantian even more flustered and hot. Luckily, she had her back turned to Shan Yi, so she couldn’t see her expression.

She glanced at the steaming hot spring pool and pursed her lips, only then realizing that she had forgotten to bring clothes. How was she supposed to soak in the hot spring now?!

Although Shan Yi had seen her naked countless times, she still wasn’t used to the idea of being completely exposed and facing her lover like that – it made her feel shy.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Shan Yi also preparing to come out of the room, so she thought about hurrying down first to avoid the awkwardness of undressing later. However, before she could unfasten her belt, Shan Yi’s voice came from not far away, sounding a bit urgent. “Since we just finished eating, don’t go down yet.”

Shen Tiantian’s movements instantly froze.

“The water in the hot spring is pretty hot,” Shan Yi led her to the lazy chair. “Just lie down here for a while, and then we can go down in half an hour.”

The lazy chair was big enough for two people, and with both of their great figures, they could easily lie down together.

Shen Tiantian made a sound of acknowledgment and slowly laid down on the lazy chair. As she looked up, she seemed a bit dazed.

The hot spring resort was located in the outskirts, where there were no bustling streets or bright lights. It was quiet at night, with almost no sound except for the occasional calls of frogs and insects, making it a perfect place for a vacation.

The sky in front of them was clear, and a faint shade of blue could still be seen. Countless stars were shining as if each one was trying its best to bloom.

Shen Tiantian had never seen such a scene before – it was so tranquil. Lying beside the person she loved, gazing at the starry sky, it made her heart tremble more than any other date.

“Isn’t it beautiful?” Shan Yi propped her head up with both hands and asked, tilting her head.

Shen Tiantian nodded gently.

Shan Yi didn’t say anything more. She assumed the same position as Shen Tiantian, and with a smile in the corners of her eyes, she gazed at the sky.

Both of them understood each other without speaking. After about ten minutes, Shan Yi was the first to get into the water. Her fair figure immersed in the hot spring, illuminated by the lights, seemed to be glowing.

In front of Shen Tiantian, Shan Yi always appeared composed. Even if she occasionally felt shy, she could quickly adjust herself. No wonder she had studied abroad and now held the position of CEO.

With that, Shen Tiantian quickly and decisively took off her bathrobe and carefully dipped her legs into the hot spring. Just as she did so, Shan Yi suddenly turned her head. Shen Tiantian tried to retract her legs, but it was too late. She fell into Shan Yi’s embrace, and the warm water quickly soaked her skin, causing it to blush from the temperature.

“So, you don’t need to compare yourself to others, just be yourself,” Shan Yi smiled. “I don’t need you to be strong either; I can still afford a wife and children.”

Shen Tiantian blushed at Shan Yi’s words. Each and every one of Shan Yi’s words was imprinted on her heart, leaving a tingling and aching sensation. She was so moved that she could cry without even realizing it.

It was the first time someone had said to her, “You are you, and you don’t need to change.” It might sound a bit cliché, but it was incredibly touching.
