Her phone was still ringing. Shen Tiantian was vomiting badly and was not in the mood to care, so by the time she finished vomiting, there was no sound outside.

She washed her face with water and looked at herself in the mirror in a daze. Despite the water droplets all over on her face, they couldn’t hide the pale complexion on her face.

“Your symptoms are very similar to pregnancy …”

She suddenly recalled the old doctor’s words. She looked at her flat stomach and slowly lifted the hem of her clothes.

Shen Tiantian’s face blushed. The CEO was teasing her again. It was so annoying.

But why did she like it so much?!

Shan Yi loved seeing Shen Tiantian blush and wanted to continue teasing her. “I want to come back to the country right away and kiss you properly.”

The redness on Shen Tiantian’s face quickly spread to her neck. “Please stop saying that.”

What happened to the cool and aloof CEO she had just met? Why did she change so much after they started dating?

Shan Yi looked at her with a smile, knowing that if she kept teasing her, the little woman might hang up the call. She gently changed the topic, “Alright, alright, I won’t say it anymore. It should be almost 7 o’clock on your side, right? Have you had dinner?”

Shen Tiantian’s face was still red. She shifted her gaze and honestly shook her head. “No, I just woke up.”

Shan Yi’s concerned voice was heard. “Are you too tired from work?”

“No really …” Let’s not mention that it’s not because of work, even if it was, she couldn’t complain to her boss.

Shen Tiantian glanced at her belly, furrowed her brows subtly, and when she looked up, she had already put on a smile. “I stayed up a little late yesterday, chatting with Wan Jun about the baby.”

“You like children so much?” Shan Yi narrowed her eyes slightly.

“Mm, does the CEO like children?”

Shen Tiantian asked cautiously, her heart pounding faster and faster. She wanted to know Shan Yi’s answer, but she was also afraid to hear it. She was in a dilemma.

Shen Tiantian blushed under Shan Yi’s gaze and for a moment didn’t know how to respond.

Just then, she heard Assistant Yang’s voice from the side, “We’ve arrived, CEO Shan.”

Shan Yi responded coldly with an “Mhm” and gently said to Shen Tiantian, “I’ve arrived. I’ll send you a message later?”

Shen Tiantian hurriedly said, “O-Okay.”

After ending the call, Shen Tiantian’s face was practically smoking.

Assistant Yang was beside her?

Did she hear their entire conversation with the CEO?!

It was too embarrassing.

Shen Tiantian covered her face and couldn’t even dare to imagine Assistant Yang’s expression.

If Shan Yi wasn’t even afraid of ruining her image in front of her subordinates, what did she have to fear?!

With that thought, she didn’t feel as embarrassed anymore.

Shen Tiantian shivered and tried hard to suppress these strange thoughts.

It was all because of what the old doctor had said, it had driven her almost to the point of a nervous breakdown, where any unusual reaction would immediately make her think of pregnancy.

At the thought of this, Shen Tiantian’s face turned pale.

She lost all interest in cooking the noodles, quickly walked out of the kitchen, grabbed her phone, opened the browser, and rapidly searched for early pregnancy symptoms.

The shop assistant noticed a potential customer and quickly approached, asking her what she needed.

“Huh?!” The assistant clearly didn’t hear her.

Shen Tiantian repeated herself.

The shop assistant suddenly realized and nodded, looking at her with a somewhat sympathetic gaze. In her mind, she had already imagined a story of tens of thousands of words.

Seeing her red-rimmed eyes and hearing her quiet voice, the assistant thought she was one of those girls who had been abandoned and discovered they were pregnant.

Shen Tiantian was still in a state of panic and didn’t notice the shop assistant’s gaze, let alone what she was thinking.

The shop assistant took out several different brands of pregnancy test kits for her to choose from, patiently explaining their differences.

Back at home, she followed the instructions and used one of the test kits. She carefully awaited the changes on the test, and two bright red lines gradually appeared before her eyes.

This meant that she was truly pregnant!

With a thud, the pregnancy test slipped from her hand.
